Can intense heat cause a persistent burnt mark in mouth?
quick thing l wanted to mention, l encountered a problem not to long ago, every night when l was going to bed l put the heater on and left it on for the whole night the heat got really intense at times even reaching 80 degrees. l did this for like 4 weeks every night. And then the bottom of my mouth got a burnt mark, it's been 5 months, and the burnt mark is still there, l've been wandering how can l get rid of this

You might have a thermal burn in your mouth due to the extreme heat. This usually happens when the tissues in your mouth have been exposed to high temperatures for an extended period. Sometimes, burns take some time to completely heal. To speed up the healing process, apply gels that soothe or ointments meant for mouth burns. Also, drink cold liquids and avoid eating spicy or hot foods because they can increase discomfort levels. However, if the burnt mark continues, go to see a dentist.

I am a 26 year old female. I went on vacation to Rhode Island. On Thursday after arriving I went and sat in a porch swing outside. A couple minutes later I felt something bite me. First it looked like mosquitos. Now it does not. Now it burns/stings. It does not itch. They are red and kinda scabbed over like.
