Sir, I have cut marks on my hand and leg which is 3 years old. I want to clean those marks. Is it possible to clean them?

Answered by Pankaj Kamble

Hello, Yes, it is possible to remove the marks. Cut mark scars are amenable to various treatment options and it has to be customized based on your scar type amd the treatment depends on the duration of scar and ability to follow-up. The advance treatment option includes Fractional CO2 lasers in multiple sessions and is currently the procedure of choice while other options include derma roller with or without mesotherapy. Your dermatologist will decide on a treatment plan for you after a consultation. So we recommend you visit your nearest dermatologist. I hope this answers your query. I am 20 year old female, My hands got some bumps can say its keratosis pilaris and surface is rough too so what should i do now ? A laser or just a treatment?

Female | 20

This can be treated with either topical creams or laser treatments. Depending on the severity of your condition, it is best to consult a dermatologist to determine the best treatment for you. Laser treatments are often more effective than topical creams, but a bit expensive. Topical creams can be used to reduce the appearance of the bumps but may not completely remove them.

Skin atrophy is the major issue and it is necessary to use gentle lotions and creams to keep your skin moisturized to solve it. Refrain from harsh chemicals and cover your skin from the sun.
