Feeling like something is stuck in my throat but there is no pain
Male | 25
Feeling like an obstruction somewhere at the throat without any pain could be a sign of globus sensation. This often benign condition could be a result of stress or anxiety, as well as acid reflux. Yet, it would be better to see an ENT specialist to eliminate any underlying issues and get the best treatment for them.

I got punched on my upper forearms, what to do to reduce the time it takes to heal
Male | 14
To speed up forearm injury healing, rest the affected area, apply ice packs every few hours, use compression, elevate the arms, consider pain relievers, and start gentle exercises after a few days. Maintain a balanced diet, avoid applying heat, and refrain from smoking and excessive alcohol. If severe pain or concerning symptoms persist, see a doctor for treatment.

From the symptoms you mentioned, you probably experience a seizure of your blood sugar levels, known as hypoglycemia. You should seek help from an endocrinologist or a diabetes specialist and attend a detailed examination and proper treatment. Insulin can be a hazardous medication to self-select and therefore should only be taken upon a healthcare provider's advice.

It could be related to issues like sciatica or a pinched nerve. It's crucial to consult a professional doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment. Sciatica, a herniated disc, or spinal stenosis might be causing the discomfort. Consider seeking medical attention for evaluation, managing pain with ice/heat and pain relievers, maintaining good posture, and avoiding activities that worsen the pain.

I am a 19 year old female, I have noticed some discoloration in my hand finger nails the tip is red rest of the nail is white, I searched on google and it says that it might be an indication of heart Or kidney disease, in the past I have suffered from kidney infection and nothing more though I have heard from other doctors that I have less blood in my body, I feel perfectly healthy, but I'm worried about what may be going on, what should I do? What could it be?
Female | 19
It doesn't necessarily mean you have a specific condition. The red tip and white base on your fingernails may be caused by factors such as trauma, nail biting, or even normal variation in nail pigmentation. Regarding your past kidney infection and having less blood in your body, its best to discuss these concerns with your doctor.

I'm female 47 year old, recreantly diagnosed with HPyori. I had to start my treatments for Pylori: my family doctor prescribe to me: Bismol 262mg x every six hours two tablets, Pantoprazole 40 mg - 1 TAB / 2 times daily, Tetracycline 250mg - 2 TAB / 4 times daily , Metronidazole 250mg - 2 TAB / 4 times daily. As that is a lot medication to be taken every 24 hrs. for 14 days, I am little bit confused for timing all of those medication. Allergy on Penicillin and Ibuprofen, Also I was today tested for Bismol and did not have any reaction, so my doctor told me that I am fine of taking Bismol as well. I am woondering if I can I take Bismol at the same time with Synthroid.
Female | 47
The medication that was prescribed to you for treatment of the H. pylori infection should be taken as recommended by your doctor. It is crucial to precisely follow the dose and time of medications for proper treatment. However, if you are unclear about the time of medication administration consult with your physician or pharmacist. On Bismol and Synthroid interactions, see an endocrinologist who can offer a comprehensive assessment as well as treatment plan.

I was bitten by a dog and got vaccinated after near about 30 hours a bit late doctor told there will be 4 more doses of vaccines one after 3 days one on 7th day one on 14th day and one on 28th day I was busy these days so I got no time to get vaccinated so I going today after 1 week to get vaccinated can you please tell me am I in risk or everything’s fine If I get vaccinated.
Male | 18
If bitten by a dog, crucial to follow the vaccine schedule. Although doses were missed, getting vaccinated late surpasses not getting it. Still vital is the completion of doses to prevent rabies. Delayed dosing slightly raises infection risk, but late vaccination wins over none.

Hello, I did the OralQuick test after we took the first PrEP pill and I did the test within 24 hours after we took the pill. Could the PrEP pill alone affect the result of the OralQuick test? I had never taken PrEp before AND we took the test about 15 hours after taking PrEP.
Male | 22
PrEP pill does not interfere with OralQuick test findings. Nevertheless, if you are worried, it is better to see a healthcare provider who could give you more accurate information and test results.

Do i need to get revaccination if a vaccinated dog against rabies bit me under span of 5 months , i was already vaccinated.
Male | 23
Did you know that if you're bitten by a dog that was already vaccinated and you're also vaccinated it's still a good idea to see a doctor? Rabies virus is a fatal virus that can also be spread through biting, but it is rare. In case you didn't know, always get a revaccination because it might still be enough for your safety. You can have a fever, headache, and be disoriented when rabies strikes. In such a situation, visit a healthcare provider.

I cannot recommend any medications online.. however, there are some self help techniques you can try. Find a consistent sleep schedule, create a sleep friendly environment, practice relaxation techniques, limit screen time before bed and establish a bedtime routine. Self medication is not recommended so it's best to seek professional medical advice.

Smoking is prohibited after surgery by any mind-altering substance including THC pens. Complications in the case of smoking can also be the development of infection and delay in healing. Your surgeon will probably advise you to go smoke-free until he decides you can start smoking again.
