My problem is i got my periods last month on 7 and this month it didn't came and its 22 days missed i get my pregnancy test on thir day of my missing period and it shows very faint line on it so i retested on 18 day of my missing period and also it shows pink faint line and my period were regular but from last 4 months its been irregular
Female | 24
You can tell that you're pregnant if you observe missed periods, faint lines on a pregnancy test, and irregular menstruation. Deviations from the normal course of pregnancy could stem from the instability of the hormones. It is best to go to a gynecologist for confirmation and advice on the next steps.

Hi doctor, I had unprotected sex on April 10th and took unwanted 72 immediately and my last period first date was on March 25th later I got light bleeding or spotting on 22,23,24th April and I took urine pregnancy test on 7th may and it’s negative so my next period should come on may 22nd but I didn’t get my periods till now. I’m having period symptoms from 4 days and smelling like period blood but no period also abdomen became hard and feeling fullness and from last 1 month I’m feeling like some or other symptoms like constipation, diahera, pelvic pain etc I’m feeling worried are there any chances of pregnancy???
Female | 28
It is common to have light bleeding after taking emergency contraception; a negative test reduces the risk of pregnancy even further. It could be that your body is experiencing hormonal changes or it’s just under stress – there are many reasons for these symptoms. Also, irregular periods happen sometimes. But if they don’t go away soon or get worse in any way, make an appointment with a gynecologist.

I'm 22 years old, I had unprotected sex 1 week ago and took ipill immediately, i notice some white discharge from the second day. Is it normal?
Female | 22
Experiencing white discharge can be normal as your body may be responding to hormonal changes from the pill. This discharge can vary in consistency and color. However, if you notice unusual symptoms such as a strong odor, itching, or irritation, it’s best to consult a gynecologist for reassurance and proper evaluation.

Male | 21
Yes, overweight women who reduce their fat can achieve normal fertility like other healthy women. Losing weight through lifestyle changes or bariatric surgery can improve fertility by regulating hormonal balance and menstrual cycles. It's advisable to consult with a gynecologist or fertility specialist for personalized guidance and support in your journey towards improved fertility and overall health.

I am 21 years old It has been 4 months since I got married. Whenever my periods start or end, I have to urinate a lot which I cannot control. All this started after my marriage. It gives me a lot of pain The pain is so much that tears came out of my eyes. I still wear adult dippers.please tell me the reason for this
Female | 20
You are facing the issue of a urinary tract infection (UTI). The bacteria need to invade the urinary tract to cause discomfort and an increase in urination, which is how UTIs happen. Marriage is a factor that increases the chances of a woman getting a UTI because of greater sexual activity. UTIs can be treated by drinking a lot of water and visiting a gynecologist for antibiotics.

I am 22 year old female married. I am having wound above my clitoris and it has been more that 5 days its not healing
Female | 22
You have a wound over your clitoris that is not healing properly. To prevent any infections from happening, you need to ensure that the wound is kept clean and not affected by any touch. This may be caused by an infection, irritation, or other causes. Use a mild antiseptic and make sure the area is dry. But if the condition does not improve for a few days, it will be better for you to make a consultation with a gynecologist, who can diagnose and advise the proper treatment that needs to be done faster.

Thank you for the answer , but I'm still bleeding with blood clot with mild pain , is this normal for 9 weeks pregnant ( iud removed)
Female | 39
I would like you to make an appointment to see a gynecologist as soon as you can. Egg shedding with clots and cramps already at the 9th week of pregnancy, after having the IUD removed, seems not the right thing to happen. It is necessary to do a full range of tests to exclude any of the possible complications.

Me and my girlfriend has sex 2 time before period but she got periods after 1 week can she stil get pregnant
Female | 24
If a girl has sex before her expected period and then it comes on, she is likely not pregnant. However, some women may have light bleeding or spotting in the early weeks of pregnancy which can be mistaken for a period. If your girlfriend’s cycle was normal with the usual flow for 3-5 days then she is probably okay. Periods are sometimes irregular due to stress among other things so I wouldn’t worry too much about it unless there are other signs as well.

In my follicular study report I had my endometrial lining of 10.4 mm and after ovulation endometrial lining decreased to 9.2 mm. Why it got reduced, it should each day? What precautions or medication I need to take for it?
Female | 32
It is quite normal for the endometrial lining to decrease in thickness after ovulation. The lining thickens and changes to a stage that prepares it for shedding. The decrease is the way for the new cycle to be set up. For this process of growth, no extra precautions or medications are needed. In case you have heavy bleeding, sharp pain, or irregular periods, visit a gynecologist.

I am 27 years old and married. I had my last period on Nov 13.Then I had intercourse. I had 1 contraceptive pill Norix-1. Then after that my periods are not coming. It has been 1 month. I did use pregnancy kit to test if I am pregnant or not. The result twice came as Negative. Will you please suggest me what should I do and what is wrong that my periods is not coming. Is this a serious issue or am I pregnant? Pleas kindly let me know.
Female | 27
It is quite normal to have a menstrual cycle that is irregular as a result of hormonal contraceptives such as Norix-1. Stress, losing weight, or hormonal imbalances can also be factors that may affect your period. As your pregnancy tests have all been negative, you are less likely to be pregnant. However, it is crucial to go to the doctor if you do not have your period. I propose to observe your symptoms closely and to talk to a gynecologist for personalized advice.

Gaining weight during periods
Female | 20
Your period brings a bit of weight gain. That's normal. You retain extra water. You feel bloated and heavier. Drink lots of water. Avoid salty foods. That helps reduce water retention. Do light exercises. Eat a balanced diet. These steps can manage the temporary weight gain.

I'm having missed periods. My cycle is irregular. I'm stressed about my exam. It will not go well if it starts somewhere near the date.
Female | 18
There are lots of things that can affect your menstrual cycle, including stress, and hormonal and lifestyle changes. Most symptoms, like irregular periods or missed ones, can be witnessed in the time of extreme stress. The ultimate surrender of your cycle might therefore be promoting relaxation techniques such as breathing, yoga, and a balanced diet, coupled with the guarantee of adequate sleep. For the time being, it is better to wait and see how things go. If your cycle continues to be unusual or becomes enlarged, I would recommend that you visit a gynecologist who can suggest a solution that is appropriate for you and can give you his/her support.

I’m 24 years female for 2 days I’ve unbearable itching in my vagina area but I can’t see anything like yeast there
Female | 24
You may have an infection caused by a yeast infection despite not noticing any visual difference. Yeast can indeed be very elusive, for sure! Even apart from this, itchiness can be a result of things like soap-induced irritation or wearing very tight clothes. To do this, make sure you only wear comfortable cotton panties and stay away from any sweetly scented products in that area. Drinking lots of water can help too. However, if the itching still persists, you can consult a gynecologist for proper treatment.

I had caesarian 18months back but now I missed my period and I had home test where it was positive. I dont want a baby now, and I have gone to the doctor but he said that if you have gone through caesarean then you have only one option, that is only surgical abortion. And I want mtp. What should I do? please help
Female | 25
If you don’t want pregnancy, then you will first have to get your sonography done, to see for how many weeks you have been pregnant. Second, how to approach this issue also depends on the number of months for which you have been pregnant, and if it's in the range of medical termination then you will be prescribed pills for same. You can approach gynecologists - Gynecologists in Bangalore, let the clinicspots team know if your city is different, and I can be consulted as well. Take care.
