Skin discoloration at your fingertips can be caused by many things, including an injury, illness or a fungal infection. It is recommended a dermatologist to be consulted for a correct diagnosis and recommended treatment.

Sir, I am 23 year old. I don't have beard. I barely have any hair under my chin. Please help me with my beard growth.

The dermatologist will first need your family history and trichoscopy examination for the evidence of vellus hairs. Then they might begin their treatment with minoxidil, micro-needling and Growth factor injections. If no improvement is seen however, then they will suggest hair transplant.

Hello Doctor, Since last 7-8 days i have developed a boil like structure near the head of my penis. Now, since last 2-3 days there is pain and irritation while urinating. I had consulted one doctor yesterday. After taking random blood sugar test measuing 147 -he said circumcission is only option. I dont have issue with foreskin. it moves back comfortably and there is no pain while intercourse... This is the 1st time i have experienced this issue. Please guide what can be done...is there any alternate treatment.

Male | 38

The boil-like structure could be a symptom of an infection. Pain and irritation while urinating are the most frequent. These include antibiotics or antifungal creams to help with the infection. The area should be kept clean and dry for a quicker recovery process. Drink lots of water and do not use strong soaps on the wound.

I am a boy and I am 22 years old. I have a lot of itching under and around my penis. More this summer. Been using Ringguard for a long time. When I use the ointment it goes away. If left out it itches again. Tell me how to get rid of it

Male | 22

You may have jock itch, a fungal infection. Itching around the penis is a symptom. It grows in warm, moist areas, so summer can cause it. Ringguard helps, but it may return. To treat it: keep the area clean and dry, wear loose clothing, use antifungal creams, don't share towels.

I am 28 years old female suffering from the problem of dark circles circles since last 10 years. I have taken a lot of treatments from 15+ doctors but nothing worked, i even tried all home remedies, ayurveda, homeopathy and much more, because of which my skin got burned twice. Moreover my dark circles got even more prominent and stiff. Now i want to head forward towards advance treatments. Doctors are suggesting me to go for chemical peel . Therefore i want a second opinion on whether it will work, how effective it will be and if it will it be safe.

Female | 28

Chemical peels can be an effective treatment for dark circles. It involves the use of a chemical solution that is applied to the skin in order to remove dead skin cells and stimulate the growth of new, healthy skin cells. This can help to reduce the appearance of dark circles, although it is not a guaranteed solution and may require multiple treatments to achieve the desired results. It is important to consult with your dermatologist before undergoing any chemical peel procedure, as it can carry some serious risks. These risks can include scarring, infection, skin discoloration, and irritation. Additionally, chemical peels can cause lasting damage to the skin if not performed properly. Be sure to follow your doctor's instructions carefully.
