Why am I having 3 periods in a month?
Hi there, I'm a 27 year old woman, and I've been experiencing an unusual change in my menstrual cycle recently. Instead of the usual one period per month, I've been having 3 periods in a month. It's been a bit concerning, and I was wondering if anyone else has gone through something similar or if there's any insight into what might be causing this. I'm hoping to find some advice or information on how to address this issue.

Since the regular flow that you normally get has turned into 3 periods a month, it is likely caused by some reasons that are the underlying factors. These may range from hormonal imbalances, stress, and dietary changes to some medical conditions. The first thing to do when there are hormonal changes is to visit a gynecologist who can help identify the cause and suggest the best course of action for your specific situation.

The fact that someone has 3 periods in a month may be due to hormonal imbalances, stress, or weight changes. This might be the case alongside experiencing other symptoms such as pain or heavy bleeding. Regular eating, stress management, and activity can be the solution. If this does not stop, consult with a gynecologist for the necessary preventive measures.

I have been experiencing pink or red vaginal discharge. My period was due 2 days ago. Since 4 menstrual cycles I have been experiencing the same thing. I used to having spotting like this for 4 days and then have my period flow. Is this normal? I am particularly worried this time because I had unprotected sex(my partner did not ejaculate in me) 3 days before my expected period date and now my peirod is delayed by 3 days. What does the redish discharge indicate and are there dangers of pregnancy?
Female | 23
Getting reddish or pinkish vaginal discharge is a cause of concern and panic but it is not uncommon. It is likely to be one of the two possibilities, either hormonal changes or irritation in your vagina. The period can also be late due to these changes. As your partner didn't ejaculate inside you, there is virtually no chance of pregnancy. The red discharge may be a sign of your menstrual cycle. It is advisable to monitor it for a bit longer and if it continues or worsens, it is best to consult a gynecologist for a proper evaluation and advice.

I am a pcod patient.my periods is scanty, and have 2 cysts in left ovary.during periods face a lot of pain.
Female | 22
One should seek consultation from a gynecologist who specializes in PCOD. Short and painful periods are typical cases of PCOD. The presence of cysts in the left ovary necessitates medical attention as well. The doctor may recommend treatment via medication or surgery based on the level of severity. Timely medical help should be sought to prevent any complications.

I had sex on 2/3/23 6 days before my period was going to start . The next day I started bleeding lightly some days and heavy some days. Im currently on birth control and take that everyday at 11am. I’m using the bathroom normally with no pain . When I wipe to use the restroom it’s blood. I don’t know what’s going on.
Female | 20
Bleeding after sexual intercourse can have various causes. And since you're currently on birth control and taking it consistently, the chances of pregnancy are generally low. To get a clearer understanding of what might be causing the bleeding, consult with a gynecologist to know why its happening ang get the right treatment.

My wife is 5 weeks pregnant and today she had a brown discharge. just asking if something we should worry about
Female | 24
It is mainly an everyday thing for certain women to have brown discharge at the beginning of pregnancy. This could be a result of implantation bleeding or old blood coming out. If it is not linked with intense pain or heavy blood loss, mostly it is not likely to be that serious. However, it is always better to consult a gynecologist for proper guidance.

Can one become pregnant after removing one ovary and uterus?
स्त्री | 40
Getting pregnant after having an ovary and uterus removed isn't simple. But there's still hope. Your remaining ovary releases eggs, and you can conceive. However, removing your uterus means there's nowhere for a fertilized egg to grow. If pregnancy is your goal, it's crucial to consult a fertility specialist. They'll help you understand options and the best path forward.

Taking the emergency pill can lead to irregular bleeding, which is not uncommon. It may alter your cycle for a while. If you continue to have concerns or if the irregular bleeding persists, it’s a good idea to talk to a gynecologist for personalized advice.

I take abortions pill but only one day normal bleeding
Female | 23
Bleeding after taking abortion pills is normal and can last for several days, similar to a period. Some may also experience cramps, nausea, and tiredness. The pills work by causing the uterus to shed its lining. It’s important to rest, stay hydrated, and use pads during this time. But if bleeding's heavy or prolonged, see a gynecologist.

Hii, My periods are delayed by 7 days now and I m worried as to why this is the case. Just to make it clear I have not indulged in any sexual intercourse. I usually get my periods by 27-28 th day. I got my last period on 5th April and my this month due was around 3rd of April , it's 10th today and I still have not got my periods. Also there has been a change in my routine from continuous travelling to just being at home for a while now. I just want to know if there is anything to be concerned about and should I consult a doc immediately? Or wait for a while ? And what are your takes on this. Height 5' 2" (157.48 cm) Weight117 lbs (53.07 kg)
Female | 20
It’s pretty normal for periods to be a little irregular, particularly if there have been changes to your routine such as decreased travel. Stress, variations in diet or exercise, and shifts in hormones can also impact your cycle. Since you haven’t had sex, it’s unlikely that you’re pregnant. Wait a bit longer but if it still doesn’t come, I reckon it would be best to see a gynecologist to be sure everything’s ok.

Symptoms include pelvic pain, a feeling of bulging or fullness, and difficulty controlling the bladder. Factors like childbirth, being overweight, or lack of exercise can contribute to this condition. However, pelvic floor dysfunction shouldn't be seen as a barrier to marriage. Treatments are available to alleviate symptoms and aid recovery. It's best to consult a gynecologist for a tailored treatment plan, which may include Kegel exercises, dietary changes, or physical therapy.

Confused about Implantation Bleeding or Menses
Female | 20
Implantation bleeding is a light discharge that is caused when a fertilized egg attaches itself to the wall of the uterus. It usually happens 6-12 days after ovulation and it can be confused with a light period. Nevertheless, noticeable blood loss or very strong pain may indicate a more severe problem. If you have any concern, please visit a gynecologist for a thorough examination.

Can I conceive at the age of 43
Female | 43
Getting pregnant at 43 might require some effort, but isn't impossible. Fertility decreases with age, so conceiving gets harder. Irregular periods or hot flashes could signal fertility changes. This happens because egg quantity and quality decline over time. Fertility treatments like IVF might help boost the chances of pregnancy. Consulting a fertility specialist can provide further guidance on available options.

Vaginal redness,pain and itching...
Female | 19
Your condition seems familiar described as candidiasis, which will bring such symptoms as vaginal reddening, pain, and itching. This problem is due to a vaginal infection, allergic reactions triggered by irritants such as gloves, or lack of proper hygiene. The first measures to be followed, are not to use irritants, to ensure you are comfortable, and another is to keep the area clean and dry. Visit a gynecologist if the problem persists.

i had my period on 10th august & finished on the 14th august i stopped bleeding for 3 days & then on the 18th i had started to bleed again up until today,, i’m not experiencing any pains & i am not pregnant or on any contraception this has never happened before
Female | 20
This could have several different explanations. It could be hormonal changes, stress, thyroid problems, or even some medical issues. You should still be cautious and not assume that it is an emergency because you have no pain and are not pregnant. A more accurate diagnosis might come from a gynecologist who will prescribe the right treatment.
