There is a Mallory Weiss tear plus diffuse hyperemia of the gastritis. This particular condition refers to the case in which there is damage in the lining of the esophagus or stomach typically as a result of severe vomiting or retching. Shiny gastropathy means swelling and redness on the lining of the stomach. It is recommended to visit a gastroenterologist for your complete evaluation and treatment.

I am 33 year old have been having lower abdominal pain at my right side the pains go and come please what can be the problem

Female | 33

The problem might point to appendicitis, the inflammation of the appendix. At times, pain takes place quietly, but if it is worse, don't overlook it. The signs of appendicitis might involve the patient having high fever, nausea, and loss of appetite. Don't hesitate to go to the emergency department as soon as the suspicion of appendicitis arises. Surgery could become a necessity in the process of getting your appendix to remove it and thus keep it from rupturing.

Hii.. My father had done Bypass Surgery on 4th December 2021.But from today evening he is suffering from severe Gas and Acidity. Please help what to do..??

Male | 56

There could be many reasons for gas and acidity after bypass surgery, including diet changes, stress, medications, or surgery itself. Some of the symptoms can be bloating, burping, and heartburn. It is important that you advise him to take smaller meals, steer clear of spicy foods, stay upright after eating and ensure he takes sufficient water. In case none of this seems to help then do not hesitate to contact his physician immediately.

I had fissure last week, took some medicine from a nearby doctor, now moved to a different place. No pain but feels like some swelling down side , kind of external hemorrhoids.

Male | 25

They are the veins around the anus that have become deformed due to too much blood being trapped inside. They are caused by straining during bowel movements (sitting for a long time) or recognizing weight. You may try drinking lots of water, eating high-fiber foods, not straining when going to the bathroom, and relaxing your bowels when going to the bathroom. Exposing the area to warm compresses is one of the easiest solutions, however, you can also get good pain relief by using over-the-counter creams.

I am 20 years old. Recently I feel pain in my esophageal area during swallowing time. Also after every minute it start paying from bottom to up an then stop and continue after se ome time

Male | 20

There are symptoms that hard burn is the same as that you might be facing. The reason is that stomach acid goes up into the esophagus and causes pain. Eating spicy or greasy foods, alcohol, or being overweight plays a significant role in developing this heartburn type of problem. For improvement, you can eat smaller meals, avoid trigger foods, and stay sitting upright after eating. If it still hurts, visiting a gastroenterologist for a check-up is necessary.

I've been diagnosed with IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) and find it hard to manage my symptoms. What dietary modifications can help alleviate my discomfort?

Female | 37

IBS patients often experience a sour stomach, leading to symptoms like bloating, cramps, and changes in bowel habits. Certain foods can worsen these symptoms, such as dairy, spicy foods, caffeine, and artificial sweeteners. Eating small meals, drinking enough water, and avoiding trigger foods can help. Fiber-rich foods and probiotics may also be beneficial. Since everyone is different, keep a food diary to track what works best for you.
