What medicine for 103-degree fever and body aches?

My wife's age is 22. She is having a fever and body aches since 2 days. She was taking paracetamol 500 mg tablet. From few hours, her fever is 103 degree and her body aches increases due to her fever. What medicine should administer to her now? and how to administer her medicines?

Answered on 22nd Jan '25

It's important to ensure your wife stays hydrated and rests. Continuing with paracetamol is fine, but she should take 500 mg every 4 to 6 hours as needed, not exceeding 3,000 mg in 24 hours. If the fever persists or worsens beyond 103°F, or if she develops other symptoms like difficulty breathing or confusion, please seek medical assistance promptly. Monitoring her symptoms is key, and professional care will provide the best support. Rest assured, with proper care and attention, she should start feeling better soon.

My mother is an asthama patient, she got mild fever and body pain so I have given her ibrufen 200 mg ,if there is any contradiction then what to do. Can I give her Montamac tablet and her Formanide pump

Female | 56

Fever and body pain can be caused by different things, and giving ibuprofen is usually a sensible thing to do. On the other, ibuprofen is not the best choice for asthma patients because it can sometimes make things worse. You can also try giving Montamac tablets for the fever and body pain as an alternative to ibuprofen. The use of her Formanide pump, which medical professionals have prescribed for her asthma, must be strictly observed. The same is true if the symptoms worsen, it is necessary to see a doctor.

Issues with head- 1. Head Always feels Heavy 2. Eye Strain 3. Headache while trying to concentrate 4. Doesn't feel fresh while waking up in the morning 5. Blankness in front of eyes if puts pressure on brain.

Female | 18

These symptoms may show signs of diseases associated with the eyes. It is important to see an ophthalmologist in order to assess the underlying cause. The specialist will probably suggest imaging tests, eye exams or other diagnostics procedures to detect the problem and establish a treatment strategy. Don’t overlook these symptoms as they could be signs of severe health complications.

I am 24 years old. I am suffering from fever and cold from last 3 days. On early morning I feeling good. But day progress feeling sick, weakness and fever.

Male | 24

You could be suffering from a common cold or flu. Cold symptoms include fever, runny nose, and feeling tired. These viruses are transmitted through a cough or a sneeze of a sick person close to you. First, if you want to feel better, you should make sure to rest, drink lots of fluids, and take some over-the-counter medicines such as paracetamol. However, if you experience worsening symptoms or have trouble breathing, you should visit a physician.

I hv uric acid 7.2 ,sugar pp 170 what sprout can i take ok for uric acid ,also is apple cider ok for uric acid.

Male | 63

For personalized advice on managing uric acid levels and your diet, consult a professional or a registered dietitian. Some sprouts like barley can be beneficial, but it's essential to consume them in moderation. Regarding apple cider vinegar, evidence is limited, and it's best to seek professional guidance for your specific health condition.

last night after having a margarita & hitting my weed pen a few times, i began feeling extremely nauseous. i went to the bathroom where the nausea worsened & my anxiety began to get bad. i started pacing back & forth & taking deep breaths to calm down. as the nausea got worse i started getting really lightheaded & felt like i had to lay down. i layed down in the bathroom & my friends said i was super pale & extremely sweaty. what happened?

Female | 20

It's possible that the ALCOHOL and weed caused nausea and dizziness.. When consumed in large amounts, both substances can cause low blood pressure, which can lead to feeling lightheaded and sweaty.. Anxiety can also cause similar symptoms.. The best course of action is to avoid excessive alcohol and any such products use and seek medical attention if symptoms persist...

Fever comes and goes away after some time and headache also remains and body aches also remain.

Male | 17

Viruses enter your body, causing fevers, headaches, and body aches. These viral infections will go away on their own if you rest and drink plenty of fluids. Over-the-counter medicines can help with the pain. But if your symptoms get worse or don't improve, see a doctor soon.

A 54 yr old woman undergoing brain surgery may experience a recovery timeline similar to many other adults, but again, each case is unique.
