Is any free cancer treatment hospitals in Andhra Pradesh available?
Female | 49
Free cancer treatment is given in Andhra Pradesh only to those who have a domicile of origin in the state. In 2020, Andhra Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy announced the Aarogyasri scheme that aims at providing medical treatment to those whose annual income is below INR 5,00,000. The healthcare scheme will cover around 2059 medical ailments, including cancer. Beyond this, there are many hospitals in India that offer free cancer treatment to those in need. These hospitals are some of the best in the country and have a commendable record at successfully treating cancer patients every year.

Hi, my father was diagnosed with carcinoma right colon, features are suggestive of well-differentiated mucinous papillary adenocarcinoma of the colon with metastasis to the lymph node and treated with extended radical right hemicolectomy side to side ileocolic anastomosis done under GA one year back followed by chemotherapy. We need a second opinion as his blood report reveals a presence of 17.9 ng/mL of carcinoembryonic antigen. Can you please suggest me a good hospital in Bangalore with less cost? The previous doctor suggested a PET CT scan.
As per my understanding, your father is suffering from carcinoma of the right colon with metastasis to lymph node and treated surgically and chemotherapy. Once any cancer which has spread to the lymph nodes it means it is stage 3 where the prognosis is not so good. But still consult an oncologist. Hope our answer helps you. Hi I have cancer in my neck I have a lump under my ear my lymph node pains and my jaw will not open, tonsil, pelvic bone and just started in my spin, is there any treatment or alternative treatment available to cure my cancer
Female | 57
Yes there are various treatment options available. But you must consult with an oncologist or cancer specialist to discuss best treatment options. Radiation therapy, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, or immunotherapy are the treatment options for cancer normally. Alternative treatments can be used alongside traditional cancer treatments to improve overall well-being.

Based on the information you have provided, it seems that the patient has a pontine glioma, which is a type of brain tumor that is located in the pons region of the brainstem. The symptoms you have listed, such as impaired vision and mobility, dysarthia, dysphagia, and breathing difficulties, can be caused by the presence of a brain tumor in the pons region. It is important for the patient to receive appropriate medical care and treatment for their condition. This may involve a combination of surgery, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy, depending on the specific characteristics of the tumor and the patient's overall health. My name is Pratima. Just a few days back my grandmother was diagnosed with colon cancer treatment (1st stage). She is 75 now. As she is quite aged, is there any chance of growing again? Or is there any life risk even post operation? As she is quite aged we are really worried. Please help.
Surgery is to be done to get the disease out of body and prevent it's spread elsewhere in body. There is always a chance of spread of disease in Colon cancer, so regular follow ups with oncologist are very important to check any spread. Age factor does matter in case of recovery post surgery. General condition of the body matters alot for proper recovery post surgery.

Hello sir, I was diagnosed with an eye tumour last year and operated it. After 7 months of surgery, yesterday again I was diagnosed with a tumor in my neck. I am very much worried now. Why this is happening with me. Is there any chance to be cancer now?
Male | 59
Eye tumor is a very vague term. Oncologist will have to know exact diagnosis, current disease staging should be done by a radiological imaging like CT scan or PET-CT scan. A repeat biopsy can be done to confirm the diagnosis.

Hello, my mother is suffering from T-cell lymphoma stage 3. Is it curable?
As per my understanding your mother is suffering from T-cell lymphoma stage 3. As per literature the survival rate for lymphoma stage III, is of 5 years in 83% of patients. But still she needs to be under observation of an oncologist. Further investigations, treatment all depends on her general condition and stage and type of cancer. Routine cytology with PET scans, and others may be required. But line of investigations is all planned according to patient's response to treatment and doctor's decision. It varies from case to case. Consult an oncologist. You may check this link and get in touch with experts having relevant qualifications - 10 Best Oncologist In India.

Hello, my aunt was diagnosed with a brain tumor after a bad fall on December 31st. We were advised that surgery would be impossible due to her age and other considerations and she would be unable to undergo chemo, therefore she will be treated solely with steroids. We are not sure about this hence would like to go for a second opinion. She has diabetes also. We are from Kolkata.
Please consult medical oncologist so that he can prescribe you proper line of treatment.
