I am a 35 years old lady. Starting last month I notice that some days after Ovulation I started spotting which went for around 6 days after another 5 days I started my periods. What could be the problem
Female | 35
You've noticed spotting after ovulation, which can be alarming. This irregular bleeding suggests something's not quite right. Often it points to hormone levels being off-kilter or an issue with the uterus itself. While spotting between periods isn't unusual, tracking when it occurs is wise. Causes range from stress throwing hormones out of whack to a diet needing improvement. Treatments may involve lifestyle adjustments or medications to rebalance hormones. The best approach is monitoring your cycle carefully, and discussing it with a gynecologist.

Last time i had sex was 3 months ago (jan2 2024) and i took an emergency contraceptive pill after less than 12 hours i got my period on time for 2 months but now my period is late this month (2 weeks )and i was fasting for a month straight for about 12 hours and i got sick with the flu for a week and took medicine whats wrong with me why is my period that late
Female | 19
Some factors can postpone periods: stress from fasting, sickness, and routine alterations. Emergency contraceptive pills might also impact cycles. Monitor additional symptoms. If menstruation delays, consulting a gynecologist offers tailored guidance.

I have a late period and im sexually active the sexual act was without penetration and I took the morning after pill Is there any chance for me to get pregnant
Female | 23
The effectiveness of the pill depends on factors like timing and individual variables. If you're sexually active and concerned about pregnancy, consider taking a pregnancy test if your period is significantly delayed.

Im a 16 year old female, and one of my vaginal lips so swollen, its been like that for 5 months. It hurt a little the first week but stopped. but it definitely got bigger. It doesn’t hurt, it doesn’t burn, it doesn’t smell bad, it doesn’t itch. it’s just there. it’s not red or purple, it’s normal colored. I’ve never had sex either so keep that in mind.
Female | 16
You have a swollen vaginal lip that has been disturbing you for a long time. Because it has been there for 5 months and it is not painful, burning, itching, or smelly it can be a harmless condition known as a Bartholin's cyst. This cyst can develop even if there has been no sexual activity. Go to a gynecologist for a proper diagnosis and treatment if necessary.

Hello I was recently diagnosed with PCOS/amenorrhea from my ultrasound. I am also overweight. They have prescribed be 5 days of provera and 3 months worth of drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol tablets (birth control) to help me menstruate again. My family does not want me to take medication or birth control again because of the side affects it has and the hormonal changes it has to my body Are those two medications the only way solution for me?
Female | 25
PCOS impacts periods, weight, and fertility. You skip periods in amenorrhea. Medications regulate your cycle. Nutritious food and workouts help symptoms. Discuss concerns with your gynecologist and derive a treatment plan.

I'm 29 year old I'm 3 months pregnant now.. i test NT scan in that scan NT value 4.21 mm any problem in that
Female | 29
An NT measurement of 4.21 mm could signal increased chances of conditions like Down syndrome. Don't get too stressed yet, though. More tests can provide clearer insights. Your gynecologist might suggest extra screenings, like blood work or amniocentesis, to better assess things.

I'm having irregular periods but I've cured it by taking medication from last 4months I've got my period regular last time it came 7 days before the time and this month it's been late for 14 days and I'm having pregnancy symptoms so I decided to test tomorrow but today I'm not having any symptoms
Female | 21
Irregular periods can have various causes, and taking medication to regulate them is a positive step. However, even with regular periods, occasional variations in timing can still occur. It mostly happens in maximum no. of women. if you feel you're experiencing pregnancy symptoms it may be a good idea to take a pregnancy test to rule out the possibility of pregnancy.

I mostly experience spotting and missed period but not pregnant recently this year the first month I saw my period two in one month and the second month I'm still bleeding heavily from the second period of the last month and today is 07/02/2023

Visit a gynecologist to evaluate the issue and get proper treatment. It coulb be an issue of PCOS. Heavy bleeding and prolonged periods may also be a sign of a more serious underlying condition like fibroids, etc.

I am 25 years old and I have always had regular monthly periods but recently they came early like after a week. They usually come after 25 days. Should I be worried?
Female | 25
menstrual cycles do vary slightly from month to month & changes in the timing or length of periods is due to stress, hormonal imbalances, or other health conditions. There is nothing to worry about, but if you experience persistent changes in your menstrual cycle consistently early or irregular periods it's better to talk to a gynec.

I took 2 misoprostol 6 days as I want to terminate the pregnancy! but now am feeling a back pain and I am moving a bit in my stomach! does that mean I am still pregnant?
Female | 31
Feeling worried about back pain and stomach movement is normal. These signs do not always mean being pregnant. They can be related to digestion issues or muscle strain too. If you are still concerned about being pregnant, taking a pregnancy test can give you more clear answers. If you keep feeling bad, it is best to talk to a gynecologist.

Irregular menstrual cycles often bother many people. Frequent or infrequent periods indicate irregularities. Stressful situations, weight fluctuations, and hormonal imbalances contribute to this. Mara periods na 1 month 10 day thy gya. Pregnancy test negative avyo che to su reason hoy sake
Female | 22
It worries people when their period delays but pregnancy isn't detected. Sometimes stress, weight fluctuations, or hormonal changes trigger this. These factors disrupt the menstrual cycle's regularity. Relaxing, eating nutritious foods, sleeping sufficiently, and reducing stress helps. However, if irregularity persists, consult a gynecologist for an examination.

Hi - I am currently pregnant and need a clarity on my conception date. To give a bit of background- I was on combined contraceptive pills (Ovranette) until 9th of March, when I came off it after finishing a pill pack. I got my withdrawal bleeding on 12th March(which I consider as the first day of myLMP) I tested positive for pregnancy on 11th April when my periods didn’t arrive. I had two ultrasound scan so far - one on 2nd May when the gestation age was measured as 7 weeks 2 days as per ultrasound and the second one on 9th May when the gestation age was measured as 8 weeks 2 days as per ultrasound. Since I conceived the next month after coming off pill, I need some clarity on when did the conception happen. I had 2 times sexual intercourse during this time - one on 12th March (couple of hours before commencing my withdrawal bleeding) and the next one on 23rd March - would like to know which intercourse has resulted in the pregnancy
Female | 32
According to what you’ve said it’s more likely that the sexual intercourse on 23rd March caused your pregnancy. Typically, a pregnancy test becomes positive about 4 weeks after conception which matches the dates. Having taken the pill, you can easily mistake withdrawal bleeding for your normal period. Some symptoms such as positive pregnancy tests and ultrasound findings indicate that it happened after 12th March. The best thing to do now is keep seeing a gynecologist.

My wife is 44 years old and she gets her this month period very early but its not getting over now. its almost 10 days now and she is still getting her period coming. It has decreases compared to the first five days.
Female | 44
This can be a result of shifts in hormonal levels. The main symptom is bleeding for a period longer than 7 days which is the case of menorrhagia. Causes can be stress, changes in weight, or other health issues. Emphasize to her the importance of getting enough sleep, drinking plenty of water, and eating healthy foods. If this keeps happening, visit a gynecologist for advice.

You may be having vaginal bleeding can be caused by different reasons like mixing different medications can sometimes be such effects. A doctor's visit is necessary to rule out anything serious and get appropriate treatment. Take it easy, drink lots of water, and stay away from exercise. If the bleeding persists or worsens, see a gynecologist as soon as possible to make sure you are safe.
