Do I Have Cancer Symptoms: Lump, Pain & Swelling?
I had pain in my armpit without lumps and even body aches, fatigue, bloating, reduced appetite and breathlessness occasionally. So I consulted general physician, he checked but no lumps found and he said due to panic regarding this lump I was getting all symptoms. But he suggested for thyroid and usg whole abdomen. Yesterday the reports came in which stated only cysts were found and nothing serious. But two days ago I observed a small pea size lump on my neck and stinging pain radiating in my body and hoarness. And yesterday I observed a swollen abdomen with pain What should I do. I fear it's cancer. I observed all this within a week of time

It’s good that you consulted a general physician and got tests done. Since you’ve now noticed a lump in your neck, hoarseness, and other symptoms like body pain and abdominal swelling, I recommend visiting an endocrinologist or oncologist. They are specialists in thyroid and other conditions that might need further examination. It’s important not to jump to conclusions but to get proper advice from a specialist for peace of mind and accurate diagnosis.

The end-of-life phase cancer therapy focuses on symptom management and quality of life enhancement instead of cancer treatment. Symptoms may be severe pain, weight loss, fatigue, and difficulty breathing. The causes of cancer are different but can be genetic, lifestyle factors, or environmental exposure. Treatment may include palliative care such as pain management and supportive therapy for the person to be more comfortable.

This pain occurs because the tumor is pressing on your belly inside. To relieve it, the doctor can prescribe you stronger drugs than those sold in the drugstore. These medicines are designed to ease the pain and make you comfortable. Keep telling your doctor how you feel so that they can change the medication when necessary to control the pain effectively.

What should I do if I suspect Hodgkin's Lymphoma?
I am a 24 year old girl presenting all classic symptoms of hogdkins lymphoma, but im not sure what is the next step
Dr. Donald Babu

Answered on 8th Oct '24
I know it is hard to have symptoms that seem like Hodgkin's lymphoma. This kind of cancer can make the lymph nodes swell up. It can make you feel very tired too. You might lose weight without trying. You might get sweaty at night. The best thing to do is see a doctor who treats cancer. The doctor might need to do a test called a biopsy to know for sure if you have Hodgkin's lymphoma. The biopsy can help the doctor plan the right treatment for you.

Hi, The Stage 4 Lymphoma treatment can be done with respect to the type of Lymphoma the person has, medical history and the organs it has affected. The details you have given is limited, so, we can suggest the hospitals that you could take in consideration.
Since you have not mentioned where you are from let me tell you some of the private and government hospitals in major metropolitan cities in India. It will be better if you consider the private hospitals because the patient is in stage 4 and requires urgent treatment. In case you consider economy wise, go for government hospitals.
Hope your brother have a speedy recovery and hope my information helps you. You can find hospitals on our page - Cancer Hospitals in India.
Hello Sir, one of my friends found blood in his stool somewhat in 2020. As it was not regular and didn't cause any discomfort, he ignored this. Just 2 months back the blood stated shown frequently and he began to experience acute pain in his pelvis. And he consulted a doctor. Now he has been diagnosed with stage three rectal cancer. He stays near Dehradun. Doctor asked him to consult some other place. He is devastated now and confused about what to do now. I am asking on his behalf. We would be thankful if you could suggest a suitable name experienced in handling these stage cases. His family is ready to take him to another city as well.

Is bone cancer treatment in ayurveda available?
Is bone cancer treatment in ayurveda available?

Answered on 20th Sept '24
The ancient medical practice of Ayurveda began thousands of years ago. There are a plethora of Ayurvedic cancer care centers around the world, especially India. Ayurveda strives to treat bone cancer using the power of the indigenous medicine system of plant drugs.
However, there is no scientific evidence to prove that Ayurveda can treat or cure bone cancer or any other form of cancer. According to a few studies, alternative medicines can only help relieve cancer symptoms.
