Dear user, we are sorry to know that you had a bad experience, but there are somethings that we want to be clear about, the extent to which your bald spots get covered, depends upon the level of baldness you have. So if we hypothesize that you barely have any hair on your head, then a surgeon would not have much hair follicles to remove from your donors area and transplant to a balding spot. But we are not aware of your level of baldness, and messed up hairline is a serious issue, this can be a result of some technical error on their end and can be fixed by correcting the graft placements. So we are linking you to our page where you will find various experts dealing in the same domain, approach multiple surgeons and enquire about your expectations and how much they can deliver - Hair Transplant Surgery doctors in Delhi, let us know if your city is different!

In certain cases hair loss can be linked with your personal digestive issues, if at all your gut system is not able to extract the required nutrients and deliver to your hair, thus resulting in a hair fall. However, both could be existing independently for different reasons as well. We suggest that before you take up any treatment for hair loss, that you undergo treatment for digestive condition and wait for full recovery.
Even while taking up any hair loss treatment after complete recovery from digestive disorder, please consult your doctor along the lines of other antibiotics which you had taken prior, possibly complicating your hair loss treatment regime, or increasing your chances of landing in any post-treatment risk. Please check our pages to help yourself find doctors who are trustworthy, credible as well as affordable - a.) Gastroenterologists in Mumbai, b.) Hair Loss Treatment doctors in Mumbai. • Sir, following medicated treatments can help (are available over the counter, but you will require clinical prescription for stronger concentrate):
  1. Benozyl peroxide (kills bacteria responsible for acne),
  2. Salicylic acid (allows exfoliation),
  3. Retenoids (prevents inflammation as well as pimple formation),
  4. Azelaic acid (anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory),
  5. Topical antibiotics (eliminates bacteria and decreases inflammation).
  6. Caution: They tend to make your skin more sensitive, so under expert supervision you would know what kind of sunscreen to use and in how much quantity to utilize, therefore read package instructions and consult a physician for beginners.
  • Advanced treatments: if OTC drugs and clinical prescriptions fail, then there are advanced options available as well, such as laser resurfacing, chemical peel, dermabrasion and microdermabrasion.
  • For more information, you can refer our page to get in touch with experts - Acne Scar Treatment doctors in Delhi, or that of any other city convenient to you.
  • Your basic skincare routine should consist of following steps:
  1. Begin your daily routine by washing your face with either a face wash foam or gel which matches with your skin type,
  2. Then apply moisturizer when your face is still wet, to lock the moisture in,
  3. And then use a sunscreen of appropriate SPF,
  4. Repeat aforementioned steps at night, just replace sunscreen with a night cream,
  5. For all these products, you need to know what ingredients they contain and what you are supposed to avoid while buying skin care products that cater to people with similar skin type and issues as you.

Ma'am are you seeking consultation from a general practitioner, or from a dermatologist? Because general practitioners can provide limited assistance & guidance in the initial phase, but if their prescribed ointments don't work then you will have to take it a notch up and seek guidance from those who have expertise in a domain specific to your problem, in your case being, a dermatologist.
Also, if even dermatologist approved creams & medications don't work, then there are clinically advanced treatments too, such as laser therapy, chemical peel, dermabrasion and microdermabrasion. And do you have any specific skin care routine that you follow? or a list of ingredients which you are supposed to avoid while shopping for skincare products?
Sometimes even clinical dermatologists can have varied approach, so we would suggest that you visit multiple skin care experts and discuss your issues at length with them, such as:
- Planning a skin care routine with products specific to your skin type,
- Knowing all the treatment options which you can expect from them, right from medicated ones to those that are clinically advanced like peel/surgery/laser,
- Lastly, do not forget to enquire about any possible disorder which can lead to pimples or acne, and if some test/examination pertaining to same can be carried out. If its some hormonal or health condition at play which is causing such complications, then they can also refer you to a gynecologist, or dietician, or some other expert depending on the organs which are affected due to any possible disorder, through tests & examinations.
We implore you to visit our page and find experts to seek guidance from - Acne Pimples Treatment doctors in Mumbai, let us know if your city is different.

Clonate ointment and candid dusting powder are corticosteroid and antifungal powder respectively which are not recommended for treating bacterial infections and hence it is suggested to stop the same at once. Proper diagnosis and treating the condition accordingly is essential in your case. Ruling out underlying cause and identifying the source of bacterial infections is equally important. Please consult a Dermatologist immediately so that appropriate antibiotics, good skin care regimen and creams can be recommended.

You can try Minoxidil, it is an over the counter drug which comes in the following forms: liquid, foam or shampoo. You have to apply it on scalp twice regularly. It will take months for you to determine if any difference did take place or not, and if it does then you can continue using it. Possible side effects however are scalp irritation along with growth of hair on unwanted places such as adjacent skin of the face and/or hands. If this doesn't work then dermatologists would have stronger prescriptions & better lifestyle fixes for you to follow, and they may eventually suggest hair transplant surgery, but that is if your hair fall causes balding. The white spots or patches seen on skin due to vitiligo, is caused by the event of immune cells crawling into the skin and killing melanocytes (also known as pigment producing factories). To counter that, this treatment could be efficient, especially if the immune system isn't actively attacking your skin, but if your vitiligo becomes unstable at any point, and which is not predictable even for the doctors, then this treatment wouldn't work the way you intended for it to. This should be a safe procedure otherwise with minimal recovery time and barely any side effects except possible pain and/or redness. The melanin will be extracted from your normal skin and cultured in lab to provide more cells and then cover your patches through transplant.
The cost can fall within the range of Rs. 35,000 to Rs. 1,00,000, and sometimes exceed further, depending upon the area to be covered, technique used, and location as well as infrastructure of the clinic, along with the expertise of doctor.
The procedure should take 2 to 4 hours, the post treatment care would require at least one week's worth of your attention, but the results would show up after few weeks.

Hair transplant is possible, but you may not get full coverage for your balding spot, because if your hair is too less to be removed from your donor's area, and then to be transplanted on the balding site, then covering the entire region where balding is observed, would be difficult.
However, there are 2 companies globally who are providing biofiber synthetic hair implants, therefore there are some chances that you might get better results with regards to coverage. Synthetic implants won't be permanent however, and you would need to undergo this treatment annually. Biosynthetic hair implants are artificial implants which will not only resemble your hair but would also be compatible with your skin ((which is what that makes it unique since foreign objects often don't adjust with our bodies)).
On the contrary, if you go for normal hair transplant as opposed to biosynthetic implants, then the results may be permanent, but even that would depend on whether you are having any hormonal or genetic condition which is causing your baldness.
So discuss the following things with your doctor at length:
- Your desired results and how much they can deliver.
- Biosynthetic hair implants versus normal hair transplant, what are the pros and cons according to them.
- If the durability of this treatment would be affected by your health/hormonal/genetic conditions.
- pre-treatment preparations and possible side effects.
The Cost of Hair Transplant lies between Rs. 25-45 per graft, and each graft will contain 1 to 3 hair follicles. The basic cost of a hair transplant starts from Rs 25,000 for 1000 hair grafts. Number of grafts would depend upon the judgement of surgeon. If you want a city-wise break down of how much this treatment can cost in each city, or what are the techniques through which any type of hair transplant is done, then you can also read our blog on same which goes into all the intricacies - Cost of Hair Transplant in India.
You may refer our page to get in touch with experts who would have knowledge on this subject and who can also be trusted to deliver the best results possible - Best Hair Transplant in Mumbai, let us know if your preferred destination is different!

Laser backed hair removal treatment (rs. 1,500 to rs. 55,000 for each session) can slow down hair growth & deliver long lasting results but they won't be permanent.
Electrolysis hair removal treatment on another hand is the only known permanent method recognized by the FDA, the cost of which can fall within the range of rs. 800 to rs. 5,000 per hour.
Cost of both treatments can vary, depending on equipment, location, number of sessions, body parts treated and the area covered. Electrolysis would additionally depend on your hair density as well. For more information you can find our list of Dermatologists in India and connect with experts, you can also reach out to us whenever you are having any kind of confusion.
The temporary side effects of both treatments include pain, redness and swellings. But if not done carefully, then they can lead to scarring and changes in skin color as well.
