Diabetes can cause skin infections, so while we aren't sure what exactly those white spots are, we still think that getting examined by a dermatologist would be the best for you - Dermatologists in India.

Acne spots can be treated with depigmenting creams containing ingredients like hydroquinone, kojic acid, glycolic acid, arbutin etc. A good skin care regimen with mild cleanser, moisturiser and a broad spectrum sunscreen are also equally important.  Also picking or scratching the acne is to be avoided for it may worsen the spots. Skin creams are to be used as prescribed by a dermatologist who would understand your skin type and recommend accordingly. If the acne spots are severe chemical peels or laser toning may be recommended by the dermatologist.

Losing 50-100 hair strands per day is normal, it is concerning however if they don't grow back or if you shed more than normal. And home remedies don't help, so visit a doctor - Hair Fall Treatment doctors in Mumbai, let us know if your location is different!

For dark spots apply Sun protection and products containing salicylic, but approaching a dermatologist will be more effective as they prescribe topical medicines and creams consisting of skin nourishing acids which are stronger. But if these don't produce desired results, then your specialist will advance to minimally invasive treatments such as microdermabrasion, laser therapy, chemical peels, and cryotherapy.

Since these treatments are highly subjective depending on health issues and skin type, thus a dermatologist would be able to determine a lot more after personal consultation.

I am 26 years old, last 16 years face with vitiligo, how will be treatments

Vitiligo isn't curable, but with allopathic treatment you will see temporary change or witness slow down in the rate at which the loss of pigment occurs.

Vitiligio treatment options look like this:
Topical medications, systemic treatments and phototherapy in the initial stages, but if nothing works then surgical treatments such as melanocyte transfer, which will bring back color, or other surgeries which will even out skin tone, there will be change but the results will be inconsistent.

However, as a part of team which honestly guides people on medical issues, we will be blunt enough to say that the treatment effects will be observed after months and will be inconsistent.
Get in touch with our trusted experts on this page - Dermatologists in India.

Cost of any treatment pertaining to this disease will range from 25k to 45k. We will advise you to discuss side effects with our specialists in length, and neutralizing actions for them, do let us know if you ever need guidance on any medical issue, take care!

  1. Pigmentation is your normal skin-color, but hyperpigmentation is patches on skin leaning towards the darker side, while hypopigmentation means patches of lighter tone. We have elaborated on pigmentation treatment below:
    • Hyperpigmentation: Creams, face acids, retinoids, chemical peels, laser therapies, dermabrasion and microdermabrasion. They are suggested depending on the extent to which your skin is dark.
    • Hypopigmentation: Dermabrasion, chemical peel, laser resurfacing and lightening gels, but you may require other kinds of treatment if at all there's some underlying reason behind your lighter skin tone.

  2. Regarding dark circles:
    • Skin lightening creams: they help in bringing down the darkness below your eyes.
    • Laser therapy: the heat produced by this ray of light helps in vaporizing damaged cells which are present under your eyes.
    • Chemical peel: a mix of certain acids which are useful for your skin, will be applied to your skin to peel off later on.
    • Less invasive surgical procedures: one will remove fat from your eye lids if their shadow makes it seem as if you have dark circles, which is blepharoplasty, and the other procedure would inject certain acids into the tissues underneath your eyes, as recommended by trained specialists, so as to subdue volume loss, they are known as fillers.

Neither can be treated at home and over the counter options are weak in strength and limited, so expert guidance is crucial. These treatments help with exfoliation, and hide scars, spots and sun damage as well. You are given pre-treatment precautionary tips to prepare your body for any of the therapies mentioned above, and your medical background is checked as well. Both is done to reduce the probability of you facing any kind of risk post treatment.

Genetics, vitamin deficiency, hormonal disorder and stress are some factors to be blamed. Lifestyle can also affect, such as smoking, or using chemically harsh dyes and shampoos.
A dermatologist would get to the root cause and build a plan which will stop, reverse or slow down hair greying, so refer our page - Dermatologists in India.

It's highly possible that you may have had nutrition deficit or some health condition back then which is why you saw pre-mature grey hair ((and not age related grey hair)), and by the time new hair started growing out of it you became healthy. Or it could be fluctuating hormone and stress level too. If you lack a healthy lifestyle then get in touch with our doctors - Dietitian/Nutritionists in Mumbai, let us know if you prefer a different city!

  • You are supplies with the anesthesia before treatment, and during treatment a handheld device with rolling end is used to remove the outermost layer of your skin, the skin which grows back in its place is smoother as a result.
  • You are not eligible for this treatment if you have:
    1. consumed oral acne medication isotretinoin 1 year prior
    2. a history of ridged areas
    3. acne or other conditions causing pus-filled skin
    4. frequent or severe outbreaks of cold sores
    5. burn scars or skin that's been damaged by radiation treatments
  • Pre-operation, you will have to avoid certain medications, cream, sun exposure, and smoking.
  • After procedure you would have to arrange for a ride back home as the anesthesia could temporarily impair your senses.
  • To avoid: enlarged pores, acne, skin infections, and change in skin color, you would have to follow all the precautions that your treating clinician will brief you on.
  • Dermabrasion for acne scars cost - rs. 2,000 to rs. 5,000 for a single session.

How much does it cost for hair transplant (1k grafts)in 2021?

Samruddhi Bhartiya

Member of team ClinicSpots.

Answered on 23rd May '24

The usual range of graft is rs. 20 to rs. 50, sometimes can go up to rs. 80 however. So for 1k graft, with each containing 1-3 follicles, it should be around 20,000rs to 50,000rs ((or at the most 80,000rs too, if they are using advanced techniques which reduce pain and time, differs from clinic to clinic)), so always enquire about their packages. Our blog will give some insights - Cost of Hair Transplant in India. And you can also refer our page to find surgeons who provide affordable packages - Hair Transplant Surgeons in India.
