Burn marks happen when the skin is damaged by something hot. If it’s been there for many years, removing it without surgery may be tricky. But don’t be upset because there are a few things you can try such as using creams and getting laser treatments. The best advice on how to handle this type of situation would come from consulting with dermatologists.

It might be a common skin condition called pityriasis alba. This isn't something to worry about. Pityriasis alba can lead to pale patches on the skin, mainly on the face, neck, and arms. You can see them better in summer when your skin is darker. Dryness is what makes the skin turn lighter than it’s supposed to be, the reason for this happening is mostly because of dryness. You might also want to consider moisturizing your skin more often with lotion, or drinking plenty of water helps too. If there is no change after doing all these things then go to a dermatologist who will advise on treatment methods for this condition.

You get pimples when the pores on your skin get blocked by oil and dead cells. An extra breakout might be a result of eating too much sugar. Softly washing your face every day could help relieve acne. Besides, say no to sweet stuff. Finally, use acne products that contain benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid as ingredients. All the same, you should know that seeing any changes may take a while. You can also visit a dermatologist for solutions to your acne.

This might happen due to various reasons like irritation from soaps, wearing tight clothes, or infections like yeast. Try wearing loose cotton underwear, avoid scented products, and keep the area clean and dry. If the itching persists, it’s best to have it checked by a dermatologist for proper treatment.

It is important to mind red lines on your thighs, as they might result from skin infections, irritants, or even insect bites. It would be of much help if you knew when these marks appeared first and any other symptoms you might have. Ensure that the area is clean and avoid scratching. Consider using a mild antiseptic cream; otherwise, seek further evaluation from a dermatologist.

Do I have a degenerating Lipoma on my belly?

I'm 39 from Nigeria. I have a black, cone-like lump on the upper left side of my belly. It started as small bump some years back but with time developed to 2cm in diameter. It's very hard. I feel pain around it each time I'm nervous and itchy sometimes. I have had scan conducted but didn't reveal exactly what it's.. it suggested that Stony bump appears like degenerating Lipoma. .

This hard mass might be a lipoma, which is usually harmless and consists of fat cells. These growths mainly develop under the skin and grow slowly over time. Although it is good that you have had a scan, sometimes further tests are necessary for conclusive results. However, if it is very painful or bothers you a lot, consider consulting with a surgeon who may recommend its removal.

You might have what is called seborrheic keratosis. These are common noncancerous growths of the skin. They can be brown and look like they're stuck on the skin. They may be itchy but are usually not painful. You can have just one or a whole group. Their cause is unknown. They are seen more often as people age. If it’s been bothering you, see a dermatologist. They can remove them for you.

When you see pimples on your face, don't worry, it's common and usually nothing serious. This occurs if your skin pores are clogged with oil and dead skin cells. Indications may involve red lumps and whiteheads or blackheads. To avoid these pimples wash the face regularly with a mild soap, not always touching it, and use oil-free products for your skin. You can also visit a dermatologist if necessary.

If your belly button piercing appears to be infected, the signs may include redness, pain, heat, swelling, or pus discharge. You can get an infection if you fail to clean your piercing well or you touch it with dirty hands. To assist this, gently clean it with saline solution and avoid using harsh products on the area. Also, do not remove any jewelry from inside the piercing until advised otherwise by a professional. Visit a dermatologist if there is no improvement.

Infections can occur when germs enter the skin through a cut or bite. Symptoms that your toe is infected include redness, swelling, warmth, and pain. To treat it, try soaking your toe in warm soapy water for 15 minutes 3-4 times a day. This will help clean the area and reduce swelling. Keep your toe clean and dry, and don’t squeeze or pop it. If it doesn’t improve, see a dermatologist for further treatment.

When ticks bite, it can cause itching, rash, and redness on the skin. If the tick’s head remains in your body, it may result in an infection. To alleviate this, wash the affected area with soap and water then apply an anti-itch cream. Watch out for any signs of infection like increased redness or pain; should you notice any seek medical attention immediately.

Genital warts result from a virus which spreads via sex; they resemble tiny bumpy growths and may appear pink or flesh-colored, sometimes causing itchiness or pain. A dermatologist should be consulted for treatment; this could involve prescribing a cream or carrying out procedures to remove them. The use of protection during sexual activity can help prevent their transmission.

What happens with acne is hair follicles get blocked with oil and dead skin cells. Acne filled with pus or blood means that it is infected. When it comes to treating them, using topical benzoyl peroxide is quite helpful while for severe cases, oral antibiotics such as doxycycline may be necessary. Make sure you continue your treatment regularly and keep your face clean so as not to get more pimples. You can also visit a dermatologist for further treatment.
