Tight garments, inadequate hygiene, or friction between skin can lead to discoloration there. To lighten the area, maintain cleanliness, wear loose clothing, and use mild soap for washing. However, if concerned or experiencing additional symptoms, consulting a dermatologist is a good option.

You have ringworm on your private area and thigh. The infection manifests with red, itchy patches on the skin. The causative agent is a fungus that can be easily disseminated. Applying creams like Clobeta GM or fourderm may not be adequate. You need to see the dermatologist if you want to receive the proper treatment which includes antifungal creams or pills.

Acne occurs when skin pores get clogged with oil and dead skin cells. Accutane (isotretinoin) is a strong medication used to treat severe acne by controlling sebum production. However, it can have serious side effects, so it's important to talk to a dermatologist. They can help you weigh the pros and cons and decide if it's the right option for you.

Could my painful, swollen toe be infected and ingrown?

Pretty sure ive got an ingrown toenail, and im pretty sure its infected. Ive been cutting it myself for over a year but its too painful. Side of my toe’s kind of swollen, its very red/pink. Also if I pull the skin on the side of the ingrown toe part away, pus will kinda leak out a bit. And as of today, its hurting to walk. If i even bump the top of my toe, i get searing pain in my toe. And as of right now, my foot and calf have this kind of ache-y pain.

The swelling, redness, and pus leakage plus pain are the symptoms of infected. The infection might get worse if no treatment is done. The pain and the ache in your foot and calf might be caused by the spreading of the infection. You have to see a dermatologist. They could recommend antibiotics or surgery to take away the ingrown toenail.

The darkening of the skin, dark under the eyes, and hyperpigmentation you mentioned can happen due to hormonal changes during breastfeeding. The reasons are various; it can be hormonal changes or skin sensitivity that may cause pimples. The skincare products and medications your dermatologist prescribed are the right ones for your condition during breastfeeding. The facewash, serum, and sunscreen can contribute not only to the health of your skin but also to its protection from harmful sun rays.

You might be struggling with a skin problem called dermatitis. What is common is to scratch the itch often. It will make the skin red and inflamed. In the case of an infection, the signs can be warmth and pus. Scratching should be stopped, and the area kept clean. A gentle moisturizer can work. If it doesn't get better, visit a dermatologist.

It's natural to be anxious over the question of whether aluminum compounds used in antiperspirants are safe for your health. Some are jittery about the information they read which might suggest there is a health issue. However, the majority of studies confirm that there is no such evidence of the relationship between antiperspirants with aluminum and health risks. If you notice any itching, rash, or irritation, try switching to an aluminum-free option.

You might have a medical condition known as lichen sclerosis. The main signs are the reappearance of small pimples, the vaginal walls that become white and scaly, and the sensation of itchiness. Obesity and sexual abstinence maybe your risk factors. A dermatologist should be consulted first for an accurate diagnosis and the right treatment. They may recommend some creams or medications to help controlling the symptoms and avoid complications.

The most common reasons behind this are allergies and skin irritation. You should pay attention to the products you use because they should not contain any harmful ingredients. To fight against this problem, moisturize well and avoid using soaps and chemicals that are too harsh.

Why is my forehead spot itchy after surgery?

I had spot on forehead since I had my op ten weeks...and it really itchy I know I haven't got scabs or whatever...but it really really itchy

You are having an itchy sensation around that area on your forehead where the surgery was performed ten weeks ago. This can occur as the body continues its healing process and the nerves in that area start functioning again. Itching can also be a normal part of the healing process. To treat the itchiness, you can try using a gentle moisturizer on the area. Do not scratch it, as this can aggravate the situation. If the itching does not go away or intensifies, it is best to consult a dermatologist to ensure that your healing process is going well.

Acne keloidalis nuchae is characterized by the emergence of bumpy and painful acne on the back of the head and neck. This is a result of inflammation of the hair follicles. A dermatologist may recommend laser therapy or steroid injections to minimize inflammation for treatment. It is also advisable to keep the area clean to avoid infections.

Ringworm is a skin disease that is caused by a fungus. In this way, the skin can turn red, be itchy, and feel suffering as a result of its injury. You can use the antifungal creams sold at the pharmacy to treat the ringworm. Make sure to clean and dry the area. Personal items like towels should not be shared. If it doesn't get better, you should consider getting help from a dermatologist.

Acne is typical and can be found in everyone. This stuff is the result of oil and dead skin cells blocking your hair follicles. The uplifting part is that you have complete control over the situation. Keep your skin clean, wear loose clothes, and use mild soap. If you are experiencing a lot of discomfort, you should consult a dermatologist for additional treatment.

You might have eczema - a skin condition that manifests as dry itchy patches. Eczema can be set off by things like rough soaps, allergies, or stress. In this case, use gentle, non-scented soap, moisturize your skin regularly, and stop scratching the dried patches. If it worsens or doesn't improve, it's a good idea to see a dermatologist.
