You may be suffering from what is known as eczema. Eczema is a skin condition that causes the skin to become itchy, swollen, and red. It usually moves from one place on the body to another. This can be triggered by some soaps, detergents, or stress. For the management of eczema, try to use gentle and unscented soaps, moisturizing your skin, and avoiding scratches. If the symptoms do not go away, it is better to see a dermatologist for a thorough examination and treatment.

Canker sores are small, painful ulcers that are so troublesome that one can find it hard to speak or eat. Stress can be a possible reason for them as well. To promote healing, try rinsing your mouth with salt water about three times a day. Try to avoid spicy and acidic foods that can aggravate the sores. Regularly brushing your teeth and mouth can also speed up the healing process.

Why is my private area itchy?
I am Shubham Chandrakant Vishvekar Madam and Sir, My secret area has been very itchy for 3 days. So what are the medical treatments for it

It might be a yeast infection or an irritation from soap or clothes. It is necessary to keep the area clean and dry. Wearing loose cotton underwear can help. Avoid scratching, as this can aggravate the situation. You can start by using an antifungal cream you can buy without a prescription after you bathe. If it doesn't improve after a few days, it's best to consult a dermatologist.

Is the white spot on my tongue concerning?
I am 16 years old and a female, I have noticed that there has been a white spot/bump on my tongue for the past four or five days. At first the bump hurt and I would bite it or play with it with my teeth and it would not stop hurting. Then On sunday night I drank a hot tea and it burnt my tongue. Now it feels like my tongue feels better but that spot feels like it is still irritated or burnt. The spot has not gotten bigger it has been the same size and my lymph nodes are not swollen. I haven’t experienced any fever/ flu like symptoms or unusual discharge.

You might have a canker sore, a harmless and common mouth ulcer. Canker sores can be painful and can come after biting your tongue or eating hot foods. They generally disappear in a week or two by themselves. You can use over-the-counter numbing gels or try rinsing your mouth with salt water to ease the discomfort. Stay away from spicy or acidic foods that can irritate the sore. If it doesn't get any better and if you have more issues, visit a dermatologist.

Answered on 22nd Oct '24
You want to figure out whether it is healthy or there is too much fat, then look for signs like puffiness, a double chin, or round cheeks. A situation like this may be caused by eating too many junk foods and not being physically active enough. To fix this, you can eat more fruits and vegetables, drink lots of water, and move with some activities such as walking, or dancing.

Patchy hair loss like alopecia areata is a common condition. It may show up on any part of the body which is covered by hair. The prescribed medications are often utilized for the treatment of this condition; however, sometimes, the results may take longer to become visible. If you don't see improvement after 20 days, discuss it with your dermatologist. They could recommend alternative treatment methods to enable you to overcome this challenge.

You could be suffering from a condition called urticaria, which can also be identified as hives. Hives can be characterized as red, inflamed lines on the skin that are itchy and burning. Common triggers include anxiety, some foods, medications, or allergies. Try to determine what your hives may be caused by and stay away from those triggers. Using cool compresses, and antihistamines may be beneficial in reducing itching. If the symptoms continue, visit a dermatologist.
