A small lump under the neck can sometimes be due to a swollen lymph node, infection, or cyst. Even if the doctor said it's nothing, pain when touching it might need further checking. Consult an ENT specialist to get a proper diagnosis and rule out any serious condition.

Your vocal cords seem irritated, resulting in hoarseness. Prolonged airdope usage could be the culprit. To recover, rest your voice completely. Drink plenty of fluids. Avoid whispering or raising your voice. If it persists, take a break from airdopes, letting your vocal cords heal. Consult an ENT doctor if the issue continues.

Ear pain could have various causes. At times, it's an ear infection, wax ear accumulates, and changes in air pressure, among others. Avoid putting anything into your ear is one of the most critical things to try to do. A warm cloth on the ear can provide some relief of discomfort, and it may help to rest in a quiet place. If the pain persists, visit an ENT specialist.

What is causing my sore throat, green mucus, and fevers?

Good evening. I had a sore throat on Thursday. The next two days I had no symptoms except Sunday and then I have a mild headache that worsens with vigorous movements and weakened mucus. It is accompanied by green mucus and fevers (mainly in the afternoon for the last two days) ranging from 36.9°C to 37.7°C. Can you tell me what to do to deal with it and what are the possible causes as I am worried? Thanks!"

You have a sore throat, headache, green mucus, and fevers. These symptoms can belong to the respiratory infection and can be treated with antibiotic rest and a lot of fluids. It's necessary to stay hydrated, sleep properly, and think about using a humidifier. If symptoms continue, it's a good idea to visit an ENT doctor

You could have sinus issues. When your sinuses are blocked or inflamed, you may end up with congestion, pressure, and even infections. The most common reasons are allergies, infections, or structural problems in your sinuses. Treatment methods can encompass nasal decongestants, saline rinses, steam inhalation, or antibiotics if there is an infection. Besides, you can also replenish the fluids in your body and use a humidifier for symptom relief. If your symptoms don't go away, you should see an ENT doctor for a proper diagnosis and a customized treatment plan.

It might feel like your throat is tight and you have difficulty breathing. When the mucus accumulates in your throat, it occurs. Usually, common colds, allergies, or even throat infections may be the reason. For treatment, you can drink warm liquids, use a humidifier, and take a rest. If it doesn't improve, it's best to consult an ENT specialist.

A sore throat can lead to a situation when one of your tonsils is larger than the other. Infections such as tonsillitis may be one reason but irritation is also a possible cause. Besides a sore throat, you may also have trouble swallowing, swollen lymph nodes, and a cough. Warm fluids and gargling with salt water are some ways to help. If it still doesn't get better, visit an ENT specialist.

You've been struggling with earaches for a long time already. The redness of the ears is a sign of inflammation. Your earphones habit and not covering your ears while showering may have some impact on this problem. The whooshing and ticking sound you hear might be connected to the earaches. It may be better to reduce earphone usage and keep your ears dry. When the pain doesn't go away, check with your ENT doctor for additional tests.

You could have an ear infection. The inner ear gets infected, which could result in pain and hypersensitivity to sounds, and you may feel dizzy or pass out. The infection could be the reason your ear hurts when you eat or laugh. You should visit an ENT specialist who will prescribe you medication to help eliminate the infection and alleviate your symptoms.

You might be suffering from strep throat. Strep throat is caused by bacteria that can make your throat hurt a lot. The white patches you see are a common sign of strep throat. You may also have a fever and chills. To feel better, you should rest, drink fluids, and take medicine your doctor might prescribe to fight the infection. Gargling with warm salt water can also help soothe your throat.

You are going through some issues with dry skin flakes coming out of your ears and having the feeling of your ear blocking up, even after you have been trying the Valsalva technique. This can happen when the skin in your ear canal gets irritated and sheds the flakes, which subsequently results in a blockage. You can try a gentle ear-cleaning solution to keep your ear clean and moist. If this issue keeps on persisting, you should visit an ENT doctor for more diagnostics.

The common cold, flu, or an infection could be responsible for these. Resting, drinking plenty of fluids such as warm teas or soups, and gargling with warm salt water are the best things to do. Eating soft foods and avoiding spicy or acidic foods can also help. If it's getting worse or not getting better after a few days, it's important to let your body rest and recover.

You are probably having some side effects from Candid ear drops. The burning sensation and the ear blockage that happened repeatedly could be caused by an allergic reaction or irritation from the drops. It is important to stop using the drops and avoid putting anything else in your ear. Get the right treatment from an ENT doctor and ensure that your ear heals properly.

Having an itchy, dry throat can be annoying, especially if it’s been going on for two weeks. It could be caused by allergies, a virus, or even dry air. You might feel a scratchy sensation when swallowing or talking, and you might also experience coughing or a hoarse voice. To soothe your throat, drink plenty of water, use a humidifier, and suck on lozenges. If it doesn’t get better, have it checked by an ENT specialist.
