Can liver pain from sparkling water be managed without medical help?

I have a friend who just experienced sharp liver pain since 24/4, he says it’s from consuming sparkling water and he doesn’t want to seek medical attention. He’s now on a “liver diet” where he doesn’t eat anything processed because he ate a pizza thinking the pain is gone and it started hurting more. He’s also water fasting. He says the pain comes and goes and it eventually started hurting in his right side. What can he do? He doesn’t want any medical treatment. He is 22.

Urge him to pay attention to his body's signals. If pain continues or gets worse, he must consult a gastroenterologist.
