Why Am I Experiencing Sharp Vaginal Pain, Discharge and Numbness?

Hi. I’m having vaginal nerve pain from 6 months. I’m experiencing sharp vaginal pain. Pain is not consistent and it comes and goes and lasts for 5 sec. At times when I sit on the chair or bed I have sharp pain. When I don’t urinate for long I get pain in vagina. A few minutes ago I went to poop and had to put some pressure and when I put some pressure I started having severe pain in my vagina and there was a thick white discharge like cheese. I’m still experiencing slight pain in the vagina. A month back when I was doing some jumping exercises and faced severe vaginal pain. At times I also experience numbness in my vagina, hands and legs. I had severe constipation in the past but now it’s been fine. I also experienced severe lower back pain in the past but not anymore. I was also diagnosed with PCOD. I consulted the gp to check if there is any bacterial infection or thrush and doctor confirmed that I don’t have any infection or thrush. What could be the reason for this problem.

you might have pudendal neuralgia. It is a condition, which affects the pelvic floor and may cause sharp pain in the genitals, numbness in the hands, legs, and vagina. It may be due to birth trauma or prolonged sitting. We advise you to consult a gynecologist for a proper diagnosis and treatment options.

Taking Krimson 35 doesn't mean you can't have periods. It helps with hormone issues, but you can trigger a period by stopping the pill for around 7 days. Your body adjusts to the hormone change, so light bleeding is normal. However, if bleeding seems heavy or unusual, check with your gynecologist. Krimson 35 allows control over your cycle, but concerns should always be addressed promptly.

The contraceptive patch, like P2, works fine if your period is near. Some spotting or light bleeding is normal and not concerning. This happens due to hormonal shifts. Follow your patch schedule. But if heavy bleeding occurs or you experience severe cramps, visit a gynecologist.

Periods don’t always mean you're not pregnant. You might feel tired, need to use the bathroom more often, or have sore breasts due to hormonal changes. If you're unsure, it's best to take a pregnancy test to confirm rather than guess.

Vaginal discharge occurs normally. But, if it appears discolored (yellow/green), clumpy, or foul-smelling, infection may be present. Potential causes include yeast overgrowth or bacterial imbalance. Keep the area clean and dry. Consult a gynecologist for examination and treatment. You're dealing with frequent UTIs after your period. Bacteria cause UTIs by entering your bladder. You might feel pain or burning when urinating. You may need to pee often and urine may look cloudy. After menstrual flow, bacteria can enter the bladder more easily. Drink plenty of water. Pee after sexual activity. Wear cotton underpants. These steps can help prevent UTIs.

Bleeding after taking emergency pills like Unwanted 72 is normal. Hormonal changes from the pill cause this bleeding. It may be heavier than your period. The pill can temporarily affect your cycle. But don't worry, this bleeding is usually harmless and will stop on its own. Use protection next time to avoid needing emergency pills. If bleeding lasts over a few days or you have severe pain, reach out to a gynecologist.

Missing your period can cause concern, understandably. Stress impacts the body, shifting hormone levels. Weight fluctuations, too, alter cycles. Other symptoms like stress spikes, eating routine disruptions, or weight changes accompany late periods occasionally. Stay calm, and nourish yourself properly. If irregularity persists, consult a gynecologist.

An earlier period could stem from stress, hormonal fluctuations, or even pregnancy. Very light bleeding may also relate to hormonal shifts. My suggestion would be to keep an eye on your next period, and if this pattern continues, consider checking in with a gynecologist for personalized guidance.

Having missed your period, with no spotting, light cramps, and a negative pregnancy test result, you may be pregnant. However, this is not definite. Stress or illness could also cause a late period. Using emergency contraception can affect your cycle. Wait a week and take another test. If still uncertain, consult a gynecologist

Missing a period after taking contraceptive pills happens frequently. Normally, it's no big deal. The pills sometimes change menstrual cycles. If you have no pain or signs of pregnancy, wait a bit longer. Your period will likely arrive within days. Still, if you're worried or have weird symptoms, talk to a gynecologist.

You might have a urinary tract infection. The yellow urine could be a sign that you're dehydrated or have an infection. If you're also feeling feverish, along with sore nipples and cramps, that's no fun. Try drinking more water—it might help. Plain yogurt could also be soothing for your stomach. But if things don't get better soon, see a gynecologist.

Bleeding between periods isn't normal and can happen for various reasons, such as hormone shifts, uterine polyps, infections, or medication side effects. If you experience this, it's important to visit your doctor promptly. They can identify the cause and provide the appropriate treatment. Regular periods shouldn't have extra bleeding, so visit a gynecologist if it occurs.
