Vitiligo can be tackled using various approaches meant to restore color to the affected site: or to slow down the process of color loss caused by this condition. Medications and certain light-based therapies can help with regards to this, but the results vary and can be unpredictable, they may have severe side effects too. Even if treatments are successful, the results wont be long-lasting most of the time and new patches may reappear. Your doctor might recommend application of certain medication on skin to help prevent relapse. If you have more queries or need additional guidance, then you can approach our trusted experts - Vitiligo Treatment doctors in Mumbai, do let us know if your city is different!

This condition is not curable and can be camouflaged using either tanning and makeup which wouldn't require medical intervention, or else a clinically advanced treatment which will restore color to the affected site, or slow down loss of color brought upon your skin by this condition, and which in turn would necessitate attention & guidance of an expert. Medications and certain light-based therapies can help bring some skin color back or may even out skin tone too, but the results will be inconsistent and unpredictable, and may cause serious side effects as well. If your doctor decides to treat you with a drug, surgery or therapy, the process may take many months to start showing results. Even if treatment is successful, the new patches will reappear after anytime. Your doctor might advise you to apply a medication on your skin for prevention of relapse. For more information, you can get in touch with our trusted experts on this page - Vitiligo Treatment doctors in Mumbai. Cost of any treatment you avail regarding this issue should fall within the range of 25k to 45k.

We are a virtual platform which is concerned with sharing information about various diseases and treatments available for each, along with information regarding augmentation surgeries, we additionally use our network to help people connect with right practitioners as well, but we do not perform such treatments ourselves.
Although, based on our experience in dealing with user concerns so far, and communicating same to doctors who then give us the required details to pass on, what we can say is, that vitiligo is not curable. And while we wouldn't want to dismiss findings of doctors from any field, be it ayurveda, homeopathy, or allopathy, but what we will say is, that allopathy can prove to be more effective in most of the cases. Now vitiligo isn't curable, but with allopathic treatment you will see change on temporal basis or witness slow down in the rate at which the color loss occurs.
Topical medications, systemic treatments and phototherapy are some options which can be explored, but if nothing works then there are surgical treatments as well, which will either help in bringing back some skin color, or may even out skin tone too, there will be change but the results will be inconsistent.
However, as a part of team which is dedicated to guiding people on medical issues with all sincerity, we will be honest and go as far as saying that the slight change you may/will observe in your kid, with regards to either his appearance or the rate at which his condition progresses, both will come at a cost, and that is him facing severe side effects.
For more information, you can get in touch with our trusted experts on this page - Vitiligo Treatment doctors in Mumbai. Cost of any treatment you avail regarding this issue should fall within the range of 25k to 45k. We will advise you to discuss side effects with our specialists in length, and neutralizing actions for them as well, do let us know if you need list based on a different city or if you ever need guidance on any medical issue, take care!

My mother is suffering from 4th stage lungs cancer. Her treatment is going on at Balco medical hospital raipur. Currently radiotherapy is running and it will end on this friday. After radiotherapy doctors wants to start chemotherapy from this friday. Therefore we want to consult with doctor of Tata Memorial Hospital regarding chemotherapy and future treatment plan. Is chemotherapy essential or it can be cured by homeopathy or ayurved? Actually problem starts from leg pain and hip pain just like sciatica before 3-4 weeks and is still present. Should we consult with any orthopedics doctor or any other department doctor? If we will start chemotherapy can we take medicine of other department doctors? We are not able to understand which is the correct path for future treatment.

Please don't go for ayurved or homeopathy, what clinically approved doctors state regarding cancer is the only course of action that you should follow for your mother. You can consult an orthopedic with the permission of doctor who's handling your mother's case, and your mother can consume medicines of other departments only if the doctor gives her the permission, otherwise it can cause complications. However, even if she can't take treatments for other disorders/symptoms without doctor's permission, she or you can still cross-check the possible options for allopathic treatments regarding cancer, with other oncologists. Our page will help you find experts dealing in similar domain - Lung Cancer Treatment doctors in India. Additionally, our blog may help give insights on different methods carried out for treating cancer and what benefits does each offer - Cancer Treatment in India.

My daughter is suffering from TCS ( tubercular sclerosis) since 3month old, currently she is 9 year old. Can you suggest any Ayurvedic treatment for her. MRI also done recently. Can you please guide us?

We would suggest that you look for allopathic specialists as opposed to Ayurvedic ones, since Ayurveda may not necessarily work for everyone. Allopathy will at least help in managing symptoms or slow down progress of this disease. What should be known however, is that her condition is not curable, it can be managed however. Since this treatment can't be cured and also because it may hinder her development depending on organs where her tumors are prevalent, therefore she will require a holistic approach which would be all inclusive of options such as medicated treatments, surgeries that range from minimally invasive treatments to considerably invasive ones, various therapies as well as educational & vocational services to help with her development as an individual overall. Please find relevant specialists on the page attached - Oncologists in Mumbai, you will have to approach specialists based on which area of her body the tumors are present, oncologists will treat those tumors however which can turn cancerous or are located in critical places. Let us know if your city is different, update us on her progress, and drop us a message whenever you feel confused, we are always at your service!

Dear ma'am, following treatments are used for dark circle removal & skin whitening:
- Skin lightening creams: they reduce darkness under your eyes, or all over face and body as well. But the results obtained are temporary, change seen is minimal, and provided that you regularly consume these products, also, impact isn't skin deep.
- Laser therapy: damaged cells under your eyes are vaporized using heat produced by intense light beam, can help with dark circles as well as dark skin.
- Chemical peel: a mixture containing certain acids all of which are friendly to your skin, is applied on your skin and peeled off later on.
- Additionally, there are least invasive surgical techniques to save you from dark circles as well, one of them involves removing fat from your lids if the cast of their shadow plays a crucial role in making your under-eye look darker, same is known as blepharoplasty, and otherwise you can also inject certain acids into the tissues under your eyes, in recommended quantities, to fill for volume loss, they are known as fillers.
- Furthermore, even Injections are available for treatment of darkened skin tone: they can detoxify the body, barricade your skin against harmful UV rays and enhance your skin tone by a few shades. But will contain a dosage of glutathione in limited quantity however, which in turn can be unsafe and can cause severe side effects as well.
You may have to approach a highly experienced dermatologist to avail above treatments, and we will advise you to discuss side-effects which treatment is likely to induce, with the doctor, and any precaution which will help in beating them. You may refer from our list of Skin Treatment doctors in Mumbai, or that of any other city, whichever you feel is convenient, and sought consultation services. Let us know if you are look forward to get treated in a different city, and you can drop us a message anytime you have doubts!

You can try Minoxidil, it is an over the counter drug which comes in liquid, foam or shampoo form, it is to be applied on the scalp twice regularly for men, and once regularly for women. It will take months for you to judge its outcome, but if it proves beneficial for you then you can continue using it. Possible side effects that could accompany, are scalp irritation along with growth of hair on unwanted regions such as adjacent skin of the face and/or hands. If this doesn't work then dermatologists would have stronger medicinal treatments & better lifestyle fixes, and they may eventually progress to hair transplant surgery, but that is if your hair fall causes balding and doesn't stops. For your ease, we have linked our page where you will find numerous practitioners who provide services at affordable rates - Hair Loss Treatment doctors in Lucknow, let us know if you want us to cover anything more or if you reside in a different place, and also, you can come to us anytime you need our guidance!

The cure for this infection is keeping the area dry and applying medicated creams with anti-fungal properties. This can be treated by a dermatologist only, and you would be required to approach them again in the event that your condition sees incomplete clearing up even 3 weeks after the treatment has been received by you. I am 18 years old and suffering from hair lose and hair thinning. My hair line is also receding. I had very good hair before lockdown but during lockdown i lost like half of my hairs. Is PRP treatment, a solution for me?

There's no established consensus amongst doctors regarding whether it works or not, but some studies have claimed that it can be effective, so we will say that you can give it a try.
However, it's our responsibility to make you aware of all the risks involved, which by the way would come with any kind of treatment by default. So as PRP involves injecting your own platelet rich blood at the site where balding is observed, therefore injecting may cause injury to blood vessel, infection, calcification, or scarring.
Also, you may not be an ideal candidate for this treatment if you: are using blood thinners, is heavy smokers, or is guilty of alcohol/drug intake, and also if you have been diagnosed with these in past: acute or chronic infections, cancer, liver disease, skin disease, hemodynamic instability, hypofibrinogenemia, metabolic disorder, platelet dysfunction syndromes, systemic disorder, sepsis, low platelet count, thyroid disease.
If you wish to learn of what medical tests are crucial before you take you this treatment, the scope of this treatment in terms of different hair conditions, and the post-treatment regime to care for your hair, then our blog will be helpful for you - PRP Hair Treatment.
Lastly, we are also attaching our page which enlists surgeons who have a proven track record of success and a far better understanding of what this treatment would entail for you - Prp Treatment doctors in Delhi. Let us know if your city is different, or if you have any other concern that is pending to be addressed!

Ma'am it's better to use dermatologist & clinically approved shampoos in general, because ayurvedic ones don't always help everyone. Former ones are specifically customized based on various issues that people face, whereas latter ones often club a larger group of people into one mold and then creates products. Your issue is serious and can be as a result of stress, lifestyle issues, hair care regime or may be hormonal conditions as well. Get in touch with a clinically approved expert who would handle your case better, we are linking you to our page which lists specialists with unsurpassed knowledge and a lot of experience - Hair Loss Treatment doctors in Mumbai, let us know if you prefer another city!

Only option for you here is to head to a dermatologist. Not all such lumps are cancerous but it's always safe to get them tested, and more importantly, for removal of same you will either need a surgery, or steroid injections, or liposuction.
