Got injured sacroillzc jojnt ligaments, suffering from dysfunctiong, rdgarding fusion of si joint

Although sacroiliac joint dysfunction is usually considered to be the source of lower back and/or leg pain, it can be difficult to diagnose. When the normal mobility of the sacroiliac joint, which joins the triangular bone at the bottom of the spine (the sacrum) to the pelvic, is interrupted, it can produce pain.

• More specifically, sacroiliac joint pain can be caused by either too much or too little movement. Because they can feel so similar, leg pain caused by sacroiliac joint dysfunction might be difficult to distinguish from radiating leg pain caused by lumbar disc herniation (sciatica). The most common causes of SI joint dysfunction are excessive or insufficient mobility.

• Excessive movement in the sacroiliac joint (hypermobility or instability) can make the pelvis feel unstable and result in pain.

• Excessive mobility generates pain in the lower back and/or hip that can spread into the groin, whereas lack of movement (hypomobility or fixation) causes muscle tension, discomfort, and a loss in mobility.

All acne is caused by clogged pores, but non-inflammatory ones don't have bacteria in the mix and neither are situated deeper within the pores. When oil, bacteria, and other foreign substances are trapped deeper within your pores, your body’s natural defense is to produce pus. In short, pus filled acne meaning that there is bacteria. For inflammatory acne treatment, you have following options:

  1. Over the counter drugs: use skin care products which have Benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid.
  2. Appropriate skin care regime: Wash your face in the morning and night, wear oil free moisturizer after washing face, followed by a sunscreen. And please don't scratch or pop them.
  3. If even after months you don't find changes then see an expert: they will have topical retinoids, isotretinoin, oral antibiotics, topical antibiotics, and hormonal medications, or even advanced clinical treatments.
  4. Please do not use any home remedial treatment: because what we have observed is, that people apply seemingly healthy ingredients to their skin, without knowing how to extract the right chemical from them, or what their chemical composition is and how they react with skin on application.

Hi, i am 29 year old. i have started getting pigmentation around my right eye and left cheek. which treatment do you recommend? and please suggest some good serum , i have tried a few but none working on my skin. Thank you!

1 Answer

Answered on 23rd May '24

Pigmentation around the eyes may be due to excess melanin in the skin, shadowing effect due to deep set eyes or due to thin skin around the eyes. Pigmentation around the eyes may be due to excess eye muscle strain, inadequate sleep, iron or vitamin B12 deficiencies, thyroid hormonal imbalance or constitutional. Dark circles may extend on to the cheeks leading to pigmentary demarcation lines.  However if it is only on one side any trauma or underlying ophthalmologic cause should be ruled out with an Ophthalmologist’s opinion apart from a Dermatologist’s consultation. Topical cream/serum containing vitamin C, retinol, haloxyl, kojic acid , glycolic acid, etc in lower concentrations are recommended. Sunscreens, using sun glasses, anti glare screens on desktop/laptop etc may prevent further worsening of the condition. Laser toning with Q-switched yag laser, mild chemical peels may help. If the cause of dark circles is due to hollowness under the eye, hyaluronic acid fillers may help. For more help please visit dermatologist near you

This state of skin could be a result of anything, from unhealthy lifestyle, to poor diet, to stress, to hygiene, or even improper skin care routine.

Medicated treatments such as following can help:

  • Benozyl peroxide (helps in killing acne producing bacteria),
  • salicylic acid (enables exfoliation),
  • retenoids (obstructs inflammation and pimple formation),
  • azelaic acid (anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory),
  • topical antibiotics (killss bacteria and reduces inflammation).
  • Caution: Although easily available in drug stores, but for further options you will require clinical prescription, and even for the ones mentioned above, a doctor will always have a more effective concentrate available for same. They make your skin more sensitive, so with expert guidance you would know what kind of sunscreen to use and in how much amount to make utilize, therefore read packahe instructions and consult a physician for beginners.
  1. Advanced treatments: if neither OTC drugs nor stronger prescriptions of doctor works, then there would be advanced options available as well, such as laser resurfacing, chemical peel, dermabrasion and microdermabrasion.
  2. For more information, you can refer our page to get in touch with experts - Acne Scar Treatment doctors in Delhi, or that of any other city convenient to you.
  3. Just a friendly advice, your basic skincare routine should comprise of following steps,
  • Begin your with either a face wash foam or gel which matches with your skin type,
  • Then apply moisturizer when your face is still wet,
  • Followed by a sunscreen.
  • Repeat aforementioned steps at night, just by replacing sunscreen with a night cream
  • For all these products, you need to know what ingredients they contain and which you are supposed to avoid while buying skin care products meant to cater people with your skin type and issues.

If you are completely blind then you won't benefit from corneal transplantation, however if you are not entirely blind on either or both eyes then in that case corneal transplantation can help -- as the name itself suggests, entire eye won't be transplanted but only a part of it, which in general is cornea. But even for cornea itself, its partiality or fullness while being transplanted into your eyes, would depend on the extent to which your eyes are damaged. You can receive this kind of donation either from a dead person, or from a living person who's eyes aren't in a working state but cornea happens to be clean. While we can't perform any treatment or surgery, but we can put you in touch with institutes/surgeons who can - Corneal Transplantation doctors in Mumbai. Let us know if your city is different! You should approach a nutritionist/dietician first and start with dieting & drugs, you can move on to endoscopic procedure or weight loss surgeries such as gastric bypass, gastric binding, gastric sleeve, Biliopancreatic diversion with duodenal switch, if former doesn't help. The doctor will guide you on everything, just make them aware of your expectations, limitations and pre-existing health conditions as they could limit certain options and the dietician would have an easier way of providing realistic goals, you may refer our page to contact experts and learn more - Dietitian/Nutritionists in Bangalore, let us know if your locality is different and leave us a message if you have any further questions!

  • Dark underarms can be a result of hyperpigmentation, diabetes, obesity, and abnormal hormone level, bacterial infection, dark patches on skin, or damaged adrenal gland, and it can also be caused by smoking, lack of exfoliation, chemical irritants, friction caused by dark clothes, or shaving.
  • First step, stop smoking, shaving, using those chemical irritants which harm your skin, and wear loose fitting clothes along with exfoliating more often.
  • If after some months you still don't see any changes, then you can approach a skin care expert, their first line of response would be providing topical creams, and then they can also move on to laser if it's hyperpigmentation, or chemical peel if your skin needs exfoliation, or dermabrasion & microdermabrasion if your skin needs cleansing.

Some clinical treatments and medicated products can treat your acne, or else they will resolve by themselves after a while, but they are recurring, so "cured" may not be the right term. For reduced time & constant maintenance of skin, you may refer to a doctor. You may face side effects depending on the kind of treatments you will go for, and you might even run into possible risks if you have pre-existing health conditions, but which can be avoided otherwise if you either don't undergo such treatments while having issues, or if you follow precautions. Doctor will guide you on everything. Get in touch with experts - Skin Care doctors in Bangalore. Let us know if your city is different, or if you want us to address any other query!
