I just finish using my medication for Malaria but I still feel weak, nauseous and the headache triple
Female | 22
Feeling weak, nauseous, and getting headaches is normal after finishing malaria medication. Your body needs time to recover from the infection. Rest well. Drink lots of fluids. Eat healthy foods. It can take a while for your body to feel 100% again. If symptoms worsen or persist, consult your neurologist.

Hi Doctor ,my child 3.5 yrs weight 11.7kg is a known case of seizure of unknown cause since 5 months of age.Now she is on Soval chrono 350 mg per day..... seizure is under control......all investigation are normal like eeg,MRI and other blood test......is the treatment going on in right track? She has leg pain at night time. Her latest serum valproic acid level is 115 which is slightly in toxic level.what to do now please suggest.
Female | 3
It's good your child's seizures remain controlled, although the night leg pains and higher valproic acid levels need discussion. Night leg pains might signal low magnesium or calcium, so checking those could help explain it. To address the higher valproic acid level, adjusting that medication dose may resolve it. Follow up with your child's doctor about these symptoms and potential treatment changes. If any other concerns arise, don't hesitate to reach out to a neurologist for guidance.

What or might make me have an headache and when am relaxing hear sounds like heart beat or the clock ticking at the back of my head
Male | 24
If you hear your heartbeat or other sounds in the head, you may have a condition known as pulsatile tinnitus. This may be caused by increased blood flow near the ears or changes in the blood vessels. It can also be associated with headaches at times. Keep track of any other symptoms you may experience and consult a healthcare professional for proper diagnosis and treatment guidance.

So i was not mentally well due to some personal reasons, like i was crying and sleeping less so much(past 2-3 days). Then yesterday, when everything got normal, headache started on both sides and back of the head, from then i am unable to sleep, also some kind of tingling is there when I try to sleep. What it could be?
Female | 19
You’ve been through a tough time emotionally, and that can sometimes trigger physical symptoms like headaches and tingling. The headache and difficulty sleeping could be related to stress or tension. Visit a neurologist to discuss your symptoms and get proper guidance. They will be able to give you the right treatment based on your condition.

I am having headache and feeling dizzy in the morning suggest something
Male | 23
These signs may arise from many different causes. One possible reason could be dehydration caused by not drinking enough water or inadequate sleep. In some cases, the morning headache can also be caused by breakfast skipping. Pay attention to your diet, include plenty of water and try to sleep well. When the symptoms do not go away, it is good to ask a doctor for help.

I used tap water to flush my nose out as I was congested before realising and then about 1 hour later used boiled water as I know it shouldn’t be tap water I’m In Northern Ireland what are chances of me getting brain infection I’m worried now No symptoms it was 2 days ago when will I know if I’m clear of infection
Female | 31
Using tap water to flush your nose can be unsafe. Tap water may have bad germs. But, do not worry too much about it. Getting a brain infection from this is very rare. Since you used boiled water later, you are likely safe. If you have no signs after two days, you are likely okay. But, look out for bad headaches, fever, or stiff neck. These could mean infection.

For the past 3 weeks now maybe longer I’ve been experiencing severe headaches. I ended up going to hospital for a head CT but they never did one and just put it down to stress which I know it’s not the case there’s definitely something wrong. I returned to work yesterday and was completely fine until I woke up this morning with a severe headache again and in pain all over. My throat has swelled up and I’ve been vomiting all day. I’ve taken codeine that has eased the pain a bit. I just don’t know what to do or what could be causing this. My GP has been no help either and I can’t continue risking taking anymore time off work
Female | 18
Having severe headaches, throwing up, swelling of the throat, and general body weakness is odd. It could be an indication of a serious problem that needs immediate attention. You should see a doctor who will carry out proper examinations and tests to establish the root cause. If possible, think about getting a second opinion without any delay.

My daughter is suffering from occipital neuralgia along with cervical spondylitis and Retrolisthesis along with rudimentary cervical ribs from last 2 1/2 yrs and her present age is 17yrs, can you provide me the best treatment hospital along with the doctor name along with his mail id or whattsapp number, so that my daughter gets fully cured .
Female | 17
One of the major culprits for neck pain, shoulder pain, and headache is the disorder called occipital neuralgia, cervical spondylitis, retrolisthesis, mucoceles, and rudimentary cervical ribs, which are the poles opposite to the normal clinical expressions of a person's health. Seek the help of a neurosurgeon specializing in spine disorders.

I am here for my relative age 23 female. She have some mugrane and she take vivax 5 mg regular and naxdom tablet only when too much headache. But ,by mistake today after dinner she have taken three (3) Vivax 5mg and one Naxdom .We worrid about that......She have taken 3 vivax 5mg instead of 1 vivax 5mg
Female | 23
Taking 3 tablets of Vivax 5mg can lead to an overdose of the medication, which can cause dizziness, confusion, headache, and nausea. But since Vivax 5mg is a relatively low dose medication the risk of serious complications is low. Also taking Naxdom along with it is not harmful. But if you face any serious symtpoms then consult a neurologist.

I survived Wernicke Korsakoff with minimal damage. Is it true that I only have 8 years to live?
Female | 53
It's great to hear that you got through Wernicke-Korsakoff with minimal issues. Don't worry; you're not limited to just 8 years. Wernicke-Korsakoff affects memory and brain function, causing symptoms like confusion, vision problems, and walking difficulties, usually due to a Vitamin B1 deficiency. Treatment includes B1 supplements and a nutritious diet. With proper care, you can live a long, healthy life.

Urgent- I am 53 old male with history of restless leg syndrome from approx. 20 years. With time it as become more severe as because I can’t sleep for many nights. By advance diagnosis doc discover i lack in dopamine production. I am having depressing thoughts .. can u give me promising treatment?
Male | 53
No single "promising treatment" will work for everyone with restless leg syndrome. Commonly recommended treatments include medications, lifestyle changes, and physical therapies. Medications and treatments can be prescribed only after a proper diagnosis. Rest you should avoid caffeine, alcohol, and tobacco to reduce the severity of symptoms. Physical therapies such as stretching, massage, and yoga can help relieve muscle tension and improve sleep quality. It is also important to discuss any feelings of depression with your doctor and consider seeking therapy or counseling.

I have adhd and have concerta perscribed to me and recently got a bladder stone, they gave me 2 5mg pills of oxycodone hydrochloride to take if my pain comes back and it has come back now. so my question is can i take oxycodone hydrochloride and Methylphenidate Hydrochloride (ritalin/concerta) together?
Male | 21
I won't recommend you to take oxycodone hydrochloride and Methylphenidate Hydrochloride (ritalin/concerta) together. You should consult with a neurologist first. Both medicines can have stimulant effects on the body and may interact with each other, potentially leading to serious side effects.

Hello, Doctor Name Because of the horrible things i have endured through out my life up until now which kept getting worse without pause Emotions i've felt and the anger that would cease One day, half of my face started jerking (Hemifacial spasm) and i woke up with blood from my ear later i had my cerebral fluid leaking out of my ears nose eyes From then whenever I get angry I would have Seizures and later i'd hear loud BANG in my Brain followed by blood leaking from my ears and i believe that is what is called a ruptured cerebral aneurysm and I have had about 20 or 21 of them and maybe more and I became ill with other illnesses which if god you reply to me I will give to you I have not been given treatment Since I lack the fund for medical treatment I want to pass away a faithful man to god Please tell me how long do i have until i will pass away from theses illnesses so i may have hope that i will pass away soon God willing Thank you
Male | 23
You should consult for a second opinion right away. Hemifacial spasm can be a symptom of another neurological condition, including an aneurysm. A ruptured cerebral aneurysm is a medical emergency that requires to be treated promptly. Speculating on life expectancy without the proper medical evaluation is inappropriate. As soon as you can, see a neurologist.

Female | 36
This can be due to various reasons. It may be because you are not taking in enough water, or perhaps you are feeling stressed or tired. Things such as not eating regularly or having low blood sugar can also make you feel this way. Drink a lot of water, take a proper diet, and avoid overexertion. Suppose in case dizziness persists, it is feasible to check with your doctor so that any serious issues will be identified.
