Get an x-ray done. It may be some muscle spasm. Make hot fomentation. Still not relived then consult your orthopedist or cardiologist.
My father is 80 yrs old and is on blood thinner medicines as he has undergone valve replacement surgery of heart. he now wants to go for knee replacement surgery as he cannot walk due to pain. Please guide if he can go for it and is it safe for him. Thank you

Yes. Of course he can go for knee replacement surgery. For this blood thinner has to be stopped 5 days before and should be replaced with some other medicine and after 5 days surgery can be done very successfully. This surgery is very safe and rewarding.
