¿Pueden los medicamentos curar los silbidos asociados con el tinnitus?
Escucho un silbido en mis oídos. Creo que tengo una enfermedad llamada tinnitus. Por favor díganme algún medicamento para curar esta enfermedad.

Answered on 26th Aug '24

A stroke is a nervous system problem that can cause symptoms like weakness, difficulty speaking, and confusion. It happens when the brain is starved of oxygen due to a blocked blood vessel or a burst blood vessel. Stroke treatment varies and may include medications, therapy, or surgery. The best chance of recovery is if you get to the hospital as soon as possible.

my daughter is one and a half years old. he has fits & breathing issue. born in the 8th month.
Female | 1
Your daughter's breathing issues might indicate seizures. Prematurity raises risks for such problems. Young children can have seizures from fevers or brain conditions. See a pediatric neurologist for evaluation and treatment. Staying composed and documenting seizures aids the doctor's understanding. Seizures in kids sometimes stem from various reasons like high temperatures or neurological factors.

You seem to suffer from chronic insomnia and tension headaches. Your heart can actively start to beat in your head, heart, or hands during the panic attacks. The lack of sleep that causes the symptoms gets even worse daily. Among them, which can be triggered by stress, insomnia, and bad habits in sleeping. Create a bedtime routine, restrict caffeine, and screen time before bed, and practice deep breathing percussions. Physical activity and counseling can also be amongst the manners to receive further benefits.

It seems like you might have systemic hypertension—this can lead to symptoms such as pain in the hands or feet, blurred vision, or more phlegm. These are all signs of high blood pressure. You need to check your blood pressure regularly and do what your doctor says to keep it under control. Changing your lifestyle by eating well-balanced meals, getting regular exercise, and dealing with stress can make things better for you.

Female | 26
Having symptoms like muscle twitches, tingling in your hands and feet, leg weakness, ankle pain, and difficulty speaking could indicate a nerve disorder. Abnormal EMG and NCS test results suggest nerve problems, possibly due to conditions like peripheral neuropathy or nerve injury. It's important to follow up with your doctor for further tests and treatment, which may include specialized tests, medications, or physical therapy, depending on the cause.

Your eye, head, and nose issues seem bad. This might be trigeminal neuralgia. A nerve in your face gets irritated. The pain comes suddenly, sharply, intensely. Simple medication may help. However, see a neurologist to get proper treatment.

Male | 36
Headaches can happen due to stress, lack of sleep, or dehydration. Besides that, you might be having a tension headache due to staring at screens for too long. You should try to breathe in a quiet room, hydrate your body, and perhaps use a cold compress on your head. If the pain doesn't go away, it's best to talk to a neurologist.

Hello! I was diagnosed with OCD a while ago, and one of the compulsions to certain thoughts was to hold my breath for time. It all started from here. I entered medicine, I am passionate about the field and I was always a 10th grade student. My question is if my brain was affected, if there was any cerebral hypoxia. There were times when I held my breath for quite long periods (until I felt that I had to do it), other times when I was not breathing enough and had that feeling of suffocation (the biggest fear here is, I don't know exactly how much). I had a native brain MRI, 1.5 tesla, nothing negative came out. However, on a micro level, was my cognition, my intelligence, my memory affected? The SpO2 value is 98-99% now, should I go to a doctor? I haven't slept much in my life, I always stay up at night to study and I wonder if my brain is more sensitive to such things, also I was born prematurely. I had read on the Internet that people can get hypoxia and not see it on an MRI, that really panicked me. I'm starting college in a week and I'm constantly thinking about this. If I'm going to forget certain details, I won't remember certain things, I'll always think it's because my brain was damaged, not that it's normal not to remember everything. I managed to overcome these compulsions. But I think that there are no after-effects on the brain. What do you recommend? I am very panicked that I might have hurt myself because of some senseless compulsions. I don't feel myself anymore, after reading or many things on the Internet. Is there anything to do?
Male | 18
Holding your breath for a long time can sometimes make you dizzy or suffocate, nevertheless, it is improbable for you to suffer from a permanent brain injury. Your brain which requires oxygen is doing well because you have been receiving good oxygen levels. If you're feeling worried, try some relaxation techniques like deep breathing or talking to someone you trust.

Can you please suggest some nontropics medicines which can remove Amyloid Plaques from the brain ?
Male | 53
Amyloid plaques in the brain are associated with memory issues and confusion which are typical of Alzheimer's disease. Nontropic drugs which are the drugs being studied for their possible use in removing the plaques are still in the research phase. Currently, there isn't a particular medicine that can do this. Consuming a balanced diet, exercising regularly, and stimulating your mind are all great ways to support brain health.

Have a pulsating headache on both sides of my head since a month
Female | 18
Steady throbbing in your head for a month straight is a real downer. That might mean tension headaches. Stress, no sleep, eyes straining too much - those things can cause them. Take breaks from computer screens. Relax your body and mind. Sleep enough hours each night. Pain relievers you can buy without a prescription might help. Drink lots of water, too. But if the headaches won't go away, you should visit a neurologist to get checked out properly.

Brahmi capsules are often used for potential memory enhancement, but their effectiveness varies. Before trying them, consult a doctor due to differences in dosage and individual response. Generally, a 300-450 mg dose in divided amounts is common. Start well in advance of exams. Remember, supplements should complement good study habits, sleep, and a healthy diet. Side effects and interactions exist, so consult a neurology professional.
