You might have an ear infection, which can cause pain and disturb your sleep. Other symptoms could include hearing loss and fluid drainage from the ear. Ear infections are often caused by bacteria or viruses. To ease the discomfort, try using a warm compress on your ear and taking over-the-counter pain relief. If the pain does not go away, make sure to consult an ENT specialist for proper treatment.

Fever and cold nose water drop
Female | 20
If you have a fever and you have a cold nose, these are signs of a viral infection. Fever, a runny nose, cough, or fatigue are commonly experienced symptoms. They are also the usual way your body reacts to fighting off an illness. To allow you to relax there is enough support at home. The rest is taking care of yourself, keeping you hydrated and you might need fever and congestion relief over-the-counter medications. Many cases are resolved on their own; however, if your symptoms are not gone in several days or they are getting worse, then the best thing to do is to consult a doctor who will be able to give you proper advice. Your health is of primary importance, thus you should be quick to obtain help.

First of all, I woke up with a weird feeling in my mouth. My saliva was extremely dry…I had to try take water but then I realized something shocking. It was initially tough to swallow my saliva like I had a sore throat but that wasn’t it. I felt my uvula come towards my tongue when I tried to gag. I checked the mirror and saw that my uvula got very long just overnight
Male | 24
Uvulitis is when your uvula swells up. The uvula hangs at the back of your throat. Infections, allergies, or snoring while asleep can cause it. You might feel something in your throat. Swallowing may be difficult, and your throat might hurt. Drinking lots of water helps. Gargling warm saltwater soothes. If symptoms don't go away, see an ENT specialist.

Male | 30
The symptoms that you mentioned such as the pressure in your forehead, stiff neck, and confusion could be due to severe sinusitis and polyps on the left nostril. The presence of the discharge of yellow and white, as well as the nasal congestion, is a clear indication of a sinus problem. Medication such as sinus sprays, antibiotics, or surgery mainly to clear the polyps is used. You had better consult an ENT specialist who will provide an accurate diagnosis and recommend the proper treatment for you.

Hello. I am 21 years old male. Last night I took a tablet for tooth ache and after taking I was feeling that it is still stuck in my throat. After a hour I went to sleep with the same feeling that the tablet is stuck in my throat. I am a bit confused that while I am sleeping the tablet may have entered the windpipe instead of food pipe. Is it possible that it entered the windpipe while I am sleeping and not letting me know that it had entered the windpipe. I would be really grateful to know the answer.
Male | 21
When a tablet feels stuck in the throat, it is usually in the esophagus instead of the trachea. You would cough a lot if it got into the windpipe. Sometimes, it can be a feeling of something getting stuck in the throat because the tablet is dissolved for some time. Drinking water may assist it in its journey downward. However, if you experience difficulty breathing or acute pain, get medical treatment as soon as possible.

Your left ear was blocked when you had a cold. It can be the case when you have a cold that the tube linking your ear and throat becomes swollen, and consequently, your ear feels blocked. To help eliminate it, you can yawn, chew gum, or apply a warm cloth to your ear. If it doesn't get better, talk to an ENT specialist.

Tinnitus and continue headache
Male | 37
Tinnitus makes you hear noises when there isn't one nearby. A constant headache combined with buzzing sounds could signal stress or loud noise exposure. High blood pressure could also cause it. Relax, avoid loud noises, get plenty of rest. If it persists, see an ENT specialist to identify any other reasons.

Good evening. I had a sore throat on Thursday. The next two days I had no symptoms except Sunday and then I have a mild headache that worsens with vigorous movements and weakened mucus. It is accompanied by green mucus and fevers (mainly in the afternoon for the last two days) ranging from 36.9°C to 37.7°C. Can you tell me what to do to deal with it and what are the possible causes as I am worried? Thanks!"
Male | 15
You have a sore throat, headache, green mucus, and fevers. These symptoms can belong to the respiratory infection and can be treated with antibiotic rest and a lot of fluids. It's necessary to stay hydrated, sleep properly, and think about using a humidifier. If symptoms continue, it's a good idea to visit an ENT doctor.

I have been experiencing throat pain on my left side since few weeks … I have tachycardia I am on beta blockers , my doctor said for a ultrasound of neck in which level 3 10 into 6 mm benign nodes with maintained fatty hilum . But since few weeks I have pain and I also feel something is stuck and I have ear pain sometimes with toothache
Female | 22
The possible cause of pain in your throat and the feeling of an obstruction in your neck might lie in benign nodes. Once in a while, these nodes can problematically press on a nerve and cause pain. Apart from that, they might also be the culprits of earache and toothache. Therefore, you must schedule an appointment with an ENT specialist to undergo the necessary diagnostic programs.

I am 30 years old, I am facing nose dryness in summer season and also lesion, blockage, soreness in the morning. What can be the cause and what can be done to fix it?
Male | 30
You might have allergic rhinitis. That's a fancy phrase for nose allergies. Your body reacts to stuff like pollen, pet hair, and dust mites. To ease symptoms, use a room humidifier for moisture. Drink lots of water too. Saline nose sprays can relieve dryness. If home remedies don't work, see an allergy doctor. They'll help find the cause and treatment for you.

Yesterday, my dad started experiencing symptoms, and today, my mom, my sister, and I are all experiencing symptoms as well. My main symptom is sore throat and difficulty swallowing. As a tourist, our options are limited. I have started taking OTC Humex Rhume to help with symptoms.
