As per my understanding you want to know about the 1. Total knee replacement and 2. IVF. 1. Total Knee replacement surgery is done to replace the damaged joints so patient is relieved of symptoms. The knee joint with an artificial knee called prosthesis made of metal, plastic, and ceramic. It helps to restore function of the damaged knee and relieve arthritis pain. Knee replacement surgery is advised if the pain is interfering with your daily activities and negatively affecting your quality of life. Generalized fitness is important here. Total knee replacement is being done on the patients routinely, but some of the risks associated with this surgery are infection, blood clots, failure of the artificial joint, heart attack etc. Post surgery care, rehabilitation is very important. Consult an orthopedic. 2. In vitro fertilization (IVF) is a process of fertilization, where an egg is combined with sperm and fertilized outside the body, in a liquid in a laboratory. And my waist is so painful
Female | 20
There are a few reasons why your waist might be hurting. It could be due to something as simple as a muscle strain from overexertion or poor posture. In fact, sometimes even stress can make our muscles tense up and lead to pain. I recommend trying some gentle stretches and applying a warm compress to see if that helps. If the pain persists or gets worse, it's important to schedule an appointment with orthopedist for a check-up so we can rule out any other underlying issues.

My grandma takes 2.5 mg of Elliquis daily. Can she use a joint cream with glucosamine and chrondrotin?
Female | 89
Elliquis is a blood thinner that helps prevent blood clots, which is super important. Now, when it comes to joint creams with glucosamine and chondroitin, they're generally safe to use with Elliquis because they work differently. Glucosamine and chondroitin are more about supporting joint health. Just make sure your grandma applies the cream as directed, and if she experiences any unusual symptoms, it's best to check in with her orthopedist.

Sound from joints specially from leg joint Black line on the nails now spreading on other nails also Dark eye circles
Male | 20
Two things seem to trouble you. Let's address them one by one. Your leg joints are making sounds, which is normal. It happens when air bubbles pop or tendons slide over bones. The black lines spreading on your nails could indicate a skin condition or lack of nutrients. Lack of sleep, stress, or allergies may cause dark circles under eyes. To improve these, eat a nutrient-rich diet. Manage stress well. Get adequate sleep. Moisturize nails. If issues persist, consult an orthopedist.

I have an ingrown nail in the feet. Now i geel my feet weird and my leg like a tendon ahs been pulled
Female | 44
This occurs when the nail’s edge grows into the skin, resulting in pain and redness. If left untended, an infection can develop. Your strange foot feelings and the pulled-tendon-like sensation in your leg could both be tied to this condition. To help reduce discomfort, soak your foot in warm soapy water and gently massage the area. However, if the pain continues or worsens, it’s a good idea to seek help from an orthopedist.

Hello! I am Jelena from Belgrade. I have 29 years and pains started when I was 17 years. Pains from the beginning are the same, strong, and constant. I have pains while sitting, standing, walking, sleeping. I started swimming but can’t see any improvement. I have been at physiotherapist, hyperbaric therapy, and I had surgery 2 years ago in Belgrade. They told me they did a fusion surgery of the spine (L3, L4), and they decompressed vertebras and input disc but I don’t feel anything better from the surgery at all, not even 1% percent. Behalf of the same pain, I can feel one of the screws when touching its place, it causes pain while I sitting on a chair or even laying in bed. The main pain is in my lower back, from the middle of the spine down to the gluteus. Another issue I have is that I broke my coccyx and it was crookedly fused, which also makes me a pain. I have pictures of MRI and I would love to send you. I want to thank you again for your time and looking forward to your reply. I will send the MRI as soon as you say. Thanks, Best Regards, Jelena Rmus
Female | 29
The spine surgery (L3, L4 fusion) and fractured tailbone might be causing your persistent discomfort. Let's look closely at your MRI scans to figure out what's going on. I suggest consulting an expert spine doctor for a thorough check-up and tailored treatment plan.

Sir me Right side me dard chuban jaisi ho rahi hai
Male | 22
Sharp, poking pain on your right side could be due to a few different reasons. It might be related to muscle strain from overexertion or even gas trapped in your intestines causing discomfort. In some cases, it could be a sign of inflammation in the gallbladder or appendix. To help ease the pain, you can try applying a warm compress to the area and taking over-the-counter pain relievers if needed. However, if the pain persists or gets worse, it's important to see a neurologist for a proper evaluation. They might recommend further tests like an ultrasound or blood work to determine the exact cause.

I had bypass surgery from left to right leg, balloon was placed to open blood flow, had stent put in on left side, im home now but experiencing leg pain and every once in awhile sharp pain on top of foot , is this normal ? I can find pulse on top of foot , dr said to find that if i can
Female | 57
Having some pain and discomfort in your leg after bypass surgery and having a stent put in is normal. The cause of the leg pain might be your body getting used to the new blood flow and the healing process. The sharp pain on your foot's top may be nerve irritation. It's good you can feel the pulse on your foot, but if the pain gets severe or doesn't improve, it's important to let your orthopedist know. Meanwhile, keep your leg elevated, take any prescribed pain medication, and gently massage your leg to ease the discomfort.

Female | 43
The tugging of nerves and inability to move their feet or stand up can be caused by nerve damage or compression; this sometimes occurs following surgery. It is important to get in touch with the surgeon who carried out the procedure so that they may assess what is happening. Additionally, physical therapy could help with regaining strength and movement.

33 year old woman, acl repair has been ruptured, can't walk properly, limping
Female | 33
It seems that you are having more than just a little pain after your knee surgery when your knee gets loose and moving becomes difficult. It might result from a re-injury or complications that did not go well with the recovery process. In the meantime, it is advisable to avoid strenuous activities before seeing an orthopedist. They are the ones who will take a look at your current status and will implement the most appropriate treatment modalities, which can be physical therapy or, in some cases, an ace with further imaging studies to find out the extent of the damage.

Waking up with pins and needles, muscle cramps, shaking pain, and cold sensations on your thighs can be symptoms of Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS). RLS triggers a tickling sensation and the urge to move your legs. To manage these symptoms, try gentle exercises, and warm baths, and ensure you get enough good sleep. Specific medications may also help. It's important to contact an orthopedist who can diagnose and suggest the right treatment for these issues.

This type of pain could be due to various reasons like a pinched nerve, muscle strain, or even issues with blood vessels. Sometimes, repetitive movements or poor posture can also cause this sensation. I recommend giving your arm some rest, applying a warm compress, and gently stretching the area.
