My son recently has hurt his wrist or hand he fell now his knuckle is enlarged and weirdly shaped and a bit bulky and feels different this happens 3 days ago
Male | 14
Your kid may have injured a knuckle while he landed. All the symptoms, even the growth of the knuckle, its strange shape, and heavy sensation do show a fracture or dislocation. So, applying ice is a typical solution to reduce any swelling the hand has. It means that once the swelling has shrunk using ice, one can then gently bandage the hand. The best thing to do is to visit an orthopedist for evaluation and treatment.

Your father is feeling pain due to Shoulder Arthritis; it’s a common affliction. Symptoms may include pain, stiffness, and difficulty moving the shoulder. The main causes are wear and tear on the joint and aging. Just applying hot water or ointments for pain relief is not adequate. For more effective treatments like physical therapy or medication, seek help from an orthopedist.

Male | 20
The pain you referred to before may have been due to an infection that caused the pain during urination. This may be a muscle strain or even a hernia. Getting enough rest, drinking plenty of water, applying ice, and avoiding heavy work are things you can do to help yourself feel better. If the pain continues, you should see an orthopedist for a proper diagnosis.

I have a problem on my ribs
Male | 18
From what you are saying, you might have problems with your ribs. This can result from a fall, a strong impact, or even too much coughing. Symptoms include pain in the area when you breathe or move, tenderness, and maybe swelling too. One way of helping is by, of course, rest. Stay away from the activities that you do, which cause more pain. Ice may affect swelling too. Also, pain meds provide some relief. See an orthopedist if the pain continues.

Lower back pain mainly in spine near the flank area. Pain not present all time. Pain occurred after waking up from bed at any time.
Male | 24
Sore muscles can be the root of this problem due to, for example, a bad sleeping posture. It might also be the spine itself that is giving you problems. Help your body to recuperate from the injury by avoiding movements that make it worse, using a heating pad or ice pack, and trying gentle stretches for the back. If the pain persists or you think you are feeling worse, it is a good idea to consult an orthopedist.

I had bypass surgery from left to right leg, balloon was placed to open blood flow, had stent put in on left side, im home now but experiencing leg pain and every once in awhile sharp pain on top of foot , is this normal ? I can find pulse on top of foot , dr said to find that if i can
Female | 57
Having some pain and discomfort in your leg after bypass surgery and having a stent put in is normal. The cause of the leg pain might be your body getting used to the new blood flow and the healing process. The sharp pain on your foot's top may be nerve irritation. It's good you can feel the pulse on your foot, but if the pain gets severe or doesn't improve, it's important to let your orthopedist know. Meanwhile, keep your leg elevated, take any prescribed pain medication, and gently massage your leg to ease the discomfort.

Pain in the foot joints after walking a lot is quite common. The joints might be sore from the pressure and movement. To ease the pain, rest your foot, apply ice, and gently stretch your foot and calf muscles. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and avoid walking long distances for now.

I have a scaphoid fracture,it's been 2months now and I have stiff wrist movement is not Swift while moving down it hurts what should I do
Male | 25
Your scaphoid bone has a break. Two months went by, and your wrist moved stiffly. This stiffness happens sometimes after a fracture as it heals. To help, do gentle exercises a physiotherapist suggests. But if the pain stays or gets worse, see an orthopedist to check what's going on.

I am Saranya I have pain on my left pectorial muscle for past 3 days....pain comes when I take deep breath or while sleeping....the pain extends to shoulders armpit also.... I took 2 drip injection of Tramadol paracetamol....after that I got a relief....again it started next day....all the cardiac related results are negative.... Why is this pain coming ... I can't lay on bed or take deep breath
Female | 21
This kind of pain can be caused by muscle strain or inflammation. The pain may also occur if the muscles are overused or due to poor posture. While taking pain relievers can help for some time, resting the affected area, applying ice packs, and avoiding activities that aggravate it are equally important. In case the pain does not go away, please consult an orthopedist.

Neck pain may manifest as soreness or rigidity in the area around the neck. The most usual causes include incorrect posture, long hours of sitting, or abrupt movements.
