If you have a fever for over a month and it doesn’t seem to go away, it’s important to take note of any other feelings you might have right now. There are many reasons why a fever would last this long including but not limited to infections, inflammations, and even autoimmune diseases. Hello Can you advise me what to do with my test results and interpret them Low iron serum 22 Low folic acid 1.95 Low serum creatinine 0.56 High non hdl 184 High ldl 167

Female | 44

Your iron level in your blood is deficient, possibly causing tiredness and lack of strength. The folic acid measurement is also low, potentially resulting in fatigue and weakened immunity. Additionally, heightened non-HDL and LDL readings could raise the risk of cardiovascular issues. To address this situation, try incorporating more iron-packed and folic acid-rich foods into your diet.

On 4/3/2024 a little cat scratch me and I complete my vaccination (ARV) by 0,3,7,28 days shedule resently again another cat scratch me on 10/9/2024 and could not get blood may I take another vaccination? And and today's it's the 10th day the cat was still fine and the same cat was also scratch my granny on January 2024 and granny was completely fine and vaccinated, so what should I do doctor?

Female | 20

It was a good decision to get the rabies vaccination after the first cat scratch. Since the blood test was missed after the second scratch, it's recommended to get a second vaccination as a precaution. Even if the cat seems healthy, rabies can take time to show symptoms.

Okay, I have a staphylococcus infection that I am treating. I took a Rocephin injection because other drugs were resistant. After the injection, I was prescribed a drug called ciprofloxacin. I have been experiencing some pain while taking ciprofloxacin.

Male | 20

You're experiencing pain while taking ciprofloxacin, which occurs occasionally during your treatment. This pain may be caused by irritation in your stomach due to the medication. Prolonged exposure to ciprofloxacin can lead to discomfort. It's important to inform your doctor about this so they can advise you on the next steps.

Hi , I am 20 years old . I got a second degree burn on my finger four days ago and I have a burn blister no larger than my finger nail . I have a exam coming up soon and the blister affects my ability to write. Can I pop it and cleanse the area while applying a bandage?

Male | 20

No I won't recommend you do that as it can increase the infection. You can just let it recover on its own or use a sterile bandage to protect the blister and reduce friction. If the it bursts on its own, gently clean the area with mild soap and water, apply an antibiotic ointment, and cover it with a sterile bandage.

If your mother's doctor has advices that her thyroid problem is in the early stages and not a cause for worry, It is best to continue with the prescribed treatment and follow up for monitoring
