Why Won't My 6-Month-Old's Fever Go Away?

6 months baby fever not going from past 3 days

Answered on 23rd May '24

I recommend that you schedule an appointment with a pediatrician as fast as possible. A fever protracted more than three days shows a serious illness or infection. A pediatrician may diagnose the underlying factor that has caused the fever and prescribe appropriate treatment.

My mom is having high and low fever since 3 days and the symptoms are fever chills nausea headache bodypain

Female | 45

Your mom's symptoms may result from flu or bacterial infection. Rest, stay hydrated, and eat light meals. If symptoms persist or worsen, seek medical attention. This ensures proper care and recovery. High fevers with body aches often indicate illness requiring professional treatment.

Hey doc! I was bitten by a street dog 6 years ago and doctors advised me to have 3 doses of ARV which I followed,I also searched for that dog that time but I couldn't found him . Now I have read that 5 doses are must, so I am stressing out from the fact that due to this incomplete vaccination I may contract rabies in future. Kindly help it's stressing me out

Male | 21

Your worry about the dog bite is understandable. However, you needn't fret excessively. Though rabies is grave, your three ARV doses safeguarded you adequately. Remain vigilant for symptoms such as fever, headaches, and hydrophobia. Should any symptoms appear, promptly consult a doctor.

I am a 25 year old male and I have headache, sore throat, body pain and fever since yesterday. I have taken azinthromyacin antibiotics. But nothing yet. What could be the problem?

Male | 25

Based on what you have told me like a headache, a sore throat, muscle aches, and a fever it sounds like you might have flu, a viral infection. Antibiotics such as azithromycin won’t help because antibiotics kill bacteria not viruses; therefore they will do nothing for you if this is influenza. The only things to do for now are rest in bed all day with clear liquids (water) to drink while taking painkillers such as aspirin so that one can sleep comfortably through these unpleasant symptoms but should any of them become severe or last more than a week then please seek medical attention as soon as possible.

need tablets for fever and body psins

Male | 41

You seem to have caught a viral illness - the common cold or flu. Fever, body pains - these symptoms point to that. But don't worry, it'll pass. Over-the-counter meds like acetaminophen, ibuprofen can help. They reduce fever and ease body pains. Follow dosage instructions carefully. Also, rest up and drink lots of fluids.

68 yrs old woman suffering continuous allergy for 3 months after eating shrimp

Female | 68

While shrimp can cause allergy, a very long-lasting allergy from shrimp alone is not a common condition. It's important to consider other dimensions such as the possibility of underlying medical conditions or dietary triggers. It is advisable to visit a medical specialist, since the healthcare professional should do a proper examination and manage your health.

If your eyes are burning, dry, or red, these could be signs of allergies, infection, or overuse. Before you try any treatment at home, do not forget to see a doctor to get the correct diagnosis. They can examine your condition and give you the right medication or prescribe eye drops. Keeping your eyes clean, reducing screen time, and getting enough sleep are also beneficial.

Combining ebastine and hyphoral (ketoconazole) twice can be risky. The sum of those two drugs might lead to dizziness, drowsiness, confusion, and stomach issues. Refrain from using them together as it can be dangerous. You should consult a general physician before taking any new medications. You should adhere to the instructions of your medications and you should also inform your doctor about all the drugs you are taking.
