Hi, my dad has been diagnosed with stage 3 bladder cancer. Currently he's taking chemotherapy in bangkok and the doctors advised to remove the bladder after he's done with chemotherapy. I had pain in my armpit without lumps and even body aches, fatigue, bloating, reduced appetite and breathlessness occasionally. I have no lumps, no changes in breasts etc. But I have pain in my armpit. It isn't there all the time, but I feel it throughout the day. Has anyone else had this? Is it just hormonal or could this be a sign of tumor and breast cancer?
Pain in the arm pit can be due to many reasons, infections and breast pathologies being most common. Hormonal changes are also associated with some pain in the arm pit areas. My brother has malignant lesions in his lungs and Doctors have stated that the lesion must be removed at the earliest using Chemotherapy or immunotherapy. However, we'd like to know which hospitals in Nagpur are the best for lung cancer, particularly for Chemo, Targeted Chemo, or Immunotherapy.
There is no details available regarding the stage of disease and histopathology report which usually decides the type of treatment. Oncologist usually advice biopsy, PET-CT scan, MRI Brain to stage the disease. Treatment depends on the stage of disease. In stage III and IV, we usually give chemotherapy. Targeted therapy or immunotherapy is advised depending on certain biomarkers and stage of disease.
