Could morning sickness, back pain, PCOS point to pregnancy?

Patient's Query

Hi. I experiencing morning sickness, lower back pain, lower stomach pain, mood swings and headachs. Also i am diagnosed with pcos and drinking provera please can you tell me the meaning of my symptoms. And what i could do ? Thank you

Answered by Dr. Kriti Pandey

The nausea, pain in the lower abdomen, irritability, and headaches are common feelings which occur during hormonal transformations. Provera could help solve these symptoms as it conditions your cycle. To ease your troubles, try to drink enough fluids, eat small, frequent meals, and engage in relaxation practices. However, it is essential that you stay in touch with your gynecologist to receive customized guidance and to be sure everything is on the right track.

Hi good day .. my last period was Jan 26th 2024, I usually get my period every 27-28 days, so I’m late and now I’ve been spotting these past few days.. brown spots to be exact, which I saw online that is sometimes implantation bleeding.. is that possible? I also took a test on Thursday and it said negative.. is it possible that’s a false negative

Female | 27

A brown spotting might be a sign of implantation bleeding, but it is hard to definitively identify without a medical examination. Please talk to your gynecologist

Missed periods and pain on the right side of your stomach can have various causes. While kidney stones and appendicitis are possibilities, conditions like hormonal imbalances and ovarian cysts can also cause similar symptoms. Seeking timely medical care is crucial for proper diagnosis and treatment to prevent serious complications.

Female | 26

Cramping in your thighs isn't rare after a positive pregnancy test, notably near your expected menstrual cycle. Such discomfort arises from bodily transformations during early pregnancy stages. Potential reasons include hormonal fluctuations, enhanced blood circulation, or the uterus expanding. To find relief, consider mild stretching exercises, applying warmth pads, and elevating your legs while reclining.

I'm a 21 year old women. So my periods got 2 days late which should have been started from 29th April. I had sex on 30 April . So does it make me pregnant or not

Female | 21

If you had sex one day after your period was due, it doesn't imply pregnancy automatically. Tiredness, breast enlargement, and feeling sick are some of the symptoms. Have a pregnancy test done to ascertain whether or not you are pregnant? It is crucial to use protection while having sex to stay healthy and avoid pregnancy.

I have a serious enquiry, I met my long distance girlfriend on the 12th November in Malaysia, I went home on the 22nd 1 Week before me flying on the 11th she had stopped taking birth control We had sex numerous times that week and on two occasions we had faulty condoms and I accidentally came inside her Both of those occasions we did it on the night and the day after she took plan B (morning after pill) The first time it happened she took the morning after pill two days before her ovulation day and the second time she took a day before I left. Do you think there is a chance she could be pregnant, if so how much % wise?

Female | 24

According to the information you have provided, there is a 1-2% chance of pregnancy when emergency contraception pills are taken correctly (e.g., plan B). Common signs of a pregnancy are a skipped period, queasiness, fatigue, and breast tenderness. Further, she can also use a pregnancy test about 3 weeks after the last time you had unprotected sex, just to make sure of that. Staying informed and taking care.
