Could Unwanted 72 Prevent Pregnancy After Unprotected Sex?
I had unprotected sex with my partner on dec 7 and my partner got last periods on nov 25 and had unwanted 72 within 4 hours so is there is chance of pregnancy
Gynecologist/Obstetrician
Answered on 14th Dec '24
As the pill was taken very soon after sex, the chances of becoming pregnant are quite low. Furthermore, the possible symptoms of pregnancy often include missed periods, nausea, or breast tenderness, but they are also characteristic of other troubles. A decision to buy a pregnancy test should be made if your partner's next period is late or if she suffers from any other signs. You may also consult a gynecologist for proper advice.

Female | 25
Withdrawal bleeding typically lasts 3 to 7 days. If you have been experiencing bleeding for 10 days, it may be best to seek advice from a gynecologist. Prolonged bleeding could be influenced by several factors, including hormonal changes or other medical conditions. Symptoms to note include unusual heaviness or clotting. It’s important to stay hydrated and monitor your condition. If you feel any discomfort or have concerns, consulting with your doctor will provide you with personalized guidance and reassurance.

Can we eat Pizza during pregnancy with 12 weeks.
Female | 27
Yes, you can eat pizza during pregnancy at 12 weeks still but the toppings should be either fresh vegetables or cooked products and the cheese should be pasteurized. It is better to have a gynecologist or a nutritionist recommend a healthy diet plan during pregnancy.

My pregnant wife legs keep on swelling up while she is just 5month pregnant
Female | 22
During the 5th month, leg swelling can occur due to fluid retention and pressure on veins from the growing baby, slowing circulation and causing fluid buildup. To alleviate this, recommend elevating legs, remaining active, and wearing support stockings. Importantly, discuss it with her gynecologist.

why does grey discharge anytime to a girl. is there any problem?
Female | 21
A grey discharge may signify an infection. This discharge often has a fishy odor. Bacterial vaginosis, a bacterial infection, is a common culprit. While typically not severe, seeking medical attention is crucial for proper diagnosis and treatment. A gynecologist may prescribe antibiotics or other medications to resolve the issue.

I missed my period for the last 4 months, did a usg test, report attached, and took divery 10mg (two strips completed) recommended by a local doctor, but it did not work, I already did a pregnancy kit test, its negative, thyroid test reports are normal, please suggest me some medicine, it will very helpful for me
Female | 21
Missing menstrual cycles for 4 months is concerning. However, the negative pregnancy test and normal thyroid results are reassuring. Irregular periods can occur due to stress, significant weight fluctuations, or hormonal imbalances. Consult a gynecologist for a thorough assessment. They may prescribe medications to help regulate your menstrual cycle. There's no need to worry excessively, as this issue is treatable with proper medical guidance.

Is cyst and follicles are the Samething ?
Female | 20
Follicles and cysts aren't the same. Follicles are tiny sacs in the ovaries where eggs develop. They're normal and needed. Cysts can form when follicles don't release the egg right. Cysts may cause pain, bloating, and irregular periods. If you think there's a cyst, see a gynecologist to check and treat it properly.

Miscarriage ho gaya h mara but pregnancy steck me main abhi bi positive a rha h mujhe just ok one day bleeding hoi h us kye bad nhi hoi
Female | 25
Sufferers are indeed likely to feel worried if they get a positive test after a miscarriage. This results from the hanging pregnancy hormone levels. Light bleeding may be due to hormone changes and therefore, it is not the only reason. Be vigilant in watching your symptoms. I think you need to connect with a gynecologist for the treatment and the guidance that is personal for you. They will determine your condition and will be there to help you during this time. Just remember, you don’t need to go through this, and seeking medical advice is the first step to securing your health and wellness.

You need to seek medical advice for proper diagnosis and treatment. Keep the area clean and dry and wear loose clothing. Over the counter creams may provide temporary relief, but consulting a gynecologist or dermatologists is essential for a thorough evaluation and appropriate treatment.

I had some doubt that I'm pregnant or not and I have hyperthyroidism 35days period cycle it's been 37days and i have tested pregnancy test it had mild line..I'm pregnant or not
Female | 23
Perhaps the late menstrual period and the faint line on the pregnancy test indicate pregnancy, yet this is not final evidence. Hyperthyroidism may affect the period, as well as hormone levels, which could lead to inconsistencies. I strongly suggest that you re-take the pregnancy test after a few days for more accurate results. Besides that, you are recommended to see a gynecologist and look at your symptoms, other tests that might be needed, and how the condition of the thyroid gland can be related to your special case.

I am 19 years old Christina I am a lesbian had rough sex and rn I feel discomfort in my virgina now I’m seeing a yellow spot like flesh inside my virgina which itches and like bumps around the lip of the virgina ! What can I do
Female | 19
I presume that you have a vaginal disease. The discomfort, itching, and the existence of the vulva bubbling and bumps could be due to a yeast infection or a sexually transmitted infection. It's not an option - you should not have sex before a gynecologist's examination. They will examine you and give you the drugs you need to cure the illness.

Hello. I was supposed to start my period march 15-18. However, instead I saw spotting super lightly with a brown coloured discharge since March 13th. I spotted here and there. But it goes on until now. Usually I have very intense periods. I start having cramps and tenderness in the breast area a week prior and then once my period starts, I keep having cramps and I bleed heavily past 4 to 5 days. I haven’t had any period symptoms, no cramps, no tenderness and no blood. I’ve only been feeling intense nausea lately late at night/early mornings.
Female | 25
Changes in your regular period cycle seem to be happening. Brown spotting instead of full flow can occur for multiple reasons. It may be caused by hormonal shifts, stress levels, or adjustments in your daily life. Intense nausea at night could also indicate hormonal fluctuations or stomach troubles. Be sure to drink plenty of fluids and have smaller meals more frequently. If these issues continue, consulting a gynecologist would be wise for further assessment and advice.

I have been suffering from heavy periods since my son was born 6 years ago. I know I have fibroids, but it hasn't been looked at since that time. I'm getting lower back pain, tummy feels on the heavier side and I have put on weight which I'm finding difficult to lose. I feel bloated all the time and it's having an impact on my daily life. What options do I have?
Female | 42
According to your symptoms, the troublesome periods and related bloating may be the result of the fibroids that you are already aware of. Fibroids are non-cancerous growths that are found in the uterus and they can be responsible for heavy bleeding and pressure on the nearby organs, resulting in weight gain and discomfort. To tackle this, you should visit a gynecologist for a check-up and discuss the treatment options including medication or surgery.

My periods are not coming periods delaying by 9 days i have taken pregnancy test 4 times result negative every time .what is the reason of delaying periods
Female | 27
Irregular periods happen sometimes. Stress can cause delays. New routines, like exercise changes or adjusting your diet, impact cycles too. Hormonal issues or medical conditions are other common reasons. If any other symptoms come up, like cramps or strange discharge, checking with a gynecologist is the best solution.

I got my periods on 1st september.. had sex after 2weeks and took a postinor pill. Now my period is delay.. hcg test shows a faint positive.. . is there a way to get periods back
Female | 37
Periods are often late even after using a postinor pill. This may cause a pregnancy test to give a faint positive result. This occurs as a result of the pill interfering with your cycle. If you are anxious or have abnormal symptoms, it is preferable to consult with a gynecologist.
