Experiencing Watery Discharge & Itching Before & After Periods?

Patient's Query

Having watery white discharge and sometimes itching after and before periods

Answered by Dr. Swapna Chekuri

Experiencing watery, white discharge accompanied by occasional itching can be common and may arise from various factors, such as hormonal changes or yeast infections. Understanding your cycle and body is essential. Maintaining good hygiene and wearing breathable underwear can help alleviate discomfort. If symptoms persist or worsen, I recommend consulting a gynecologist for a thorough evaluation. They can provide a proper diagnosis and suggest suitable treatment options tailored to your needs.

Hello mam I want to ask if i can get to know is their any chance to know before 6days of my period if i am pregnant ?as i am trying for baby

Female | 32

It's too early to know before your period. Around 6 days prior, you may experience light spotting, tender breasts, or mood changes. These could indicate early pregnancy. The best way to confirm is missing your period, then taking a home test.

Hello. Please answer me and give clarity. I'm in a helpless situation. On oct 24th there was an intercourse which includes no vaginal penetration ,no ejaculation,no direct contact of penis and vagina but it includes rubbing of penis around anal region. I can say the penis was dry . After that on Nov 8th or 9th she got her periods with normal flow. And again on Dec 6th she got her periods. On Dec 27th she did a urine pregnancy test out of my curiosity and it showed clear negative. Again on Jan 3rd she had periods which seemed to be normal flow and lasted for 3 days . Is there still any chance of pregnancy in this case. I'm soo worried by seeing the a of internet articles where a women did not noticed her pregnancy upto 6 months and some said they had bleeding during their pregnency. Plz help me.

Female | 20

It's understandable to feel anxious, but the likelihood of pregnancy in your situation is extremely low. Since there has been no vaginal penetration, ejaculation, and she has had regular menstrual cycles and a negative pregnancy test, it’s very unlikely she is pregnant. Menstrual bleeding can occur even in early pregnancy, but consistent regular periods and a negative test are reassuring signs. If you still have concerns, it may be beneficial to consult a healthcare professional for further clarity. They can provide personalized advice and support. Remember, it's important to communicate openly about your worries.

There is always a small chance of pregnancy, especially if your menstrual cycle is irregular or shorter than average, the occurrence of your period is generally a good indication that you are not pregnant.

I had a really strange blood clot that had some blood and grey tissue, I am scared that I was pregnant and then started taking the birth control and did not know. I had nausea, and tender breasts prior. I am scared I had a miscarriage . I am worried its a decidual cast but there was a small sac like thing with 2 transparent dots. I am still nauseas, have a mild headache, cramps and bleeding. After the clot was released, the bleeding and cramping slowed down a lot.

Female | 29

It's difficult to determine the cause of the blood clot without a proper medical checkup. It's possible It could be a decidual cast, from the uterus during menstruation or after pregnancy. It's also possible that it could be a sign of a miscarriage or another medical condition. I suggest get it checked as soon as possible to determine the cause of your symptoms and get appropriate treatment.

Can I get pregnant after my periods of good 7 days

Female | 24

Yes, you can still get pregnant after your period, even if it's been a week. While the chances are low.. right after your period, it's still possible because the body can release an egg at different times. Take a home pregnancy test to confirm.
