According to her signs, it can be possible that your wife has gotten urinary tract infection and gastroenteritis. On the one hand, it is worth mentioning that it is still possible to conceive. I suggest you take your wife to a gynecologist to make 100% sure if there are any complications and also get necessary treatment.

My daughter has a pidonial cyst on her rectume the bone is big like a baseball ball yellow. Plus she’s 8 weeks pregnant. Can she get anesthesia surgery? She been taking 8 to 10 extra straight Tylenol. Please will this harm baby?
Female | 22
Your daughter has a pilonidal cyst. It's an unpleasant bump containing yellow fluid around her tailbone area. This cyst leads to pain, swelling, and redness. Too much Tylenol may harm the baby, so seeking medical advice promptly is crucial. Anesthesia during surgery can be safe for pregnant women. However, thoroughly discussing all options with a gynecologist ensures optimal safety for your daughter and baby.

I am 23 years old I was suppose to see my menstruation flow this week but it came the first day with a very light Flow and actually stopped few hours later when it's stopped it didn't flow again but instead brown watering discharge that has odor keeps coming out I actually did a pregnancy test which came out negative So what could be the problem
Female | 23
It looks like you could have abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB). This can be caused by many things such as hormone imbalances, stress, or certain drugs. The light flow followed by brown discharge might mean old blood is coming out. I’m glad that you took a pregnancy test which came back negative ruling in pregnancy. My advice would be to keep track of your symptoms and talk to a gynecologist about them for further evaluation and guidance.

I haven't got my periods in two months
Female | 19
Missing your period for two months in a row can be concerning, but it's important to stay calm. Many factors can cause this, like stress, weight changes, hormonal imbalances, or conditions like polycystic ovary syndrome. It's essential to note any other symptoms and reduce stress while maintaining a healthy lifestyle. If the situation continues, it's wise to consult a gynecologist for further advice and to find out the cause.

I have vaginal itching.. can I apply dermex ointment on it
Female | 17
Vaginal itching can be caused by many factors like a yeast infection, bacterial vaginosis or sexually transmitted diseases. Dermex ointment is not effective for all types of vaginal itching and can even aggravate certain conditions. It is recommended that you consult a gynecologist who is able to diagnose the cause of the symptoms and prescribe the needed treatment.

Hi, so I had a medical abortion recently (less than 5 weeks pregnant and the transvaginal scan said the embryo couldn’t be visualised yet/ it’s also my first pregnancy). After I was administered 4 pills of Misoprostol vaginally at the hospital, I started bleeding 2 hours later but it was like a regular period (a little heavier than usual and some clots/tissue much later in the day). I’ve been reading stories about intense pain and cramping etc. but haven’t experienced any at all. I took a pain med on the first day expecting a lot of pain but all I felt was some pressure in my abdomen for a few hours and a heating pad helped. It’s been around 5 days since then (proper bleeding for 2-3 days and very light bleeding on the 4th day and spotting on the 5th day). Today I stopped bleeding. Is this normal?
Female | 29
It is quite common to get different experiences in a medical abortion. Some people face severe pain, but others do not. Nevertheless, bleeding and not feeling much pain seems to be not a big deal at the moment. Every person has a different response to the drugs. Please keep an eye on symptoms such as heavy bleeding, severe pain, or high fever and alert your gynecologist in case of any. In addition, keep a low-stress pace, rest well, and fulfil the post-abortion aftercare recommendations you were provided with.

Female | 25
Missing periods without pregnancy could indicate such factors as stress, malnutrition, or hormonal imbalances. The swelling may be a result of infection or irritants. Be sure to drink water, eat healthily, and try to relax. If the swelling doesn't improve, it's essential to see a gynecologist.

I have PCOS and I’m on the pill but I currently have bacterial vaginosis, is it normal to bleed just now? I had a few small clots and brown period now. haven’t had a period since 571 days ago.
Female | 29
Bleeding may sometimes occur as a result of infection-causing bacterial vaginosis. It’s not something that happens very often, but it is possible. The small clots and brown period you’re seeing could be due to that. Since you were not getting periods for a long time, the bleeding now could be a bit different. Make sure to chat with your gynecologist to confirm everything's okay and to get the right treatment.

A few days ago I was intimate with my girlfriend but now her periods have been delayed by 2 days, I am worried whether she is pregnant or not.
Female | 22
The reason for delayed periods may be other than pregnancy, for example, mental disturbances, body being with travel and some hospital procedures, hormone disorders, or other reasons. You can always consult a gynecologist for further details.

It is possible for pregnancy 7 day of her period
Female | 22
You can get pregnant even a week after your periods. This happens due to ovulation - egg release from ovaries. You might then experience missed periods, tiredness, and nausea if pregnant. Using protection during intimacy lowers pregnancy risk.

I mostly experience spotting and missed period but not pregnant recently this year the first month I saw my period two in one month and the second month I'm still bleeding heavily from the second period of the last month and today is 07/02/2023

Visit a gynecologist to evaluate the issue and get proper treatment. It coulb be an issue of PCOS. Heavy bleeding and prolonged periods may also be a sign of a more serious underlying condition like fibroids, etc.

Maybe it seems like you've got a small tear or cut down there. This is something that happens to girls sometimes, especially while on their period and the part is most sensitive at this time. It should get better in a while without any medical intervention. As long as you are gentle and take good care of that area it will get better.

My period date is 17 but I want delay period due to some function
Female | 26
Periods are accompanied by symptoms such as cramps, mood swings, and tiredness. Stress and hormonal imbalance can be the reason for the irregular menstrual cycle. You can postpone your period by taking hormonal birth control pills prescribed by your gynecologist. They will help to maintain your menstrual cycle in the desired way and to push the period for a specific day.

I want to know which type of birth control pills is safe for me.
Female | 22
There are lots of types of birth control pills. Some work well but have some bad effects. Most give headaches, upset stomach, and weird periods. They stop eggs from being released. You need to talk to a gynecologist about your health to find the best pill for you. Many people use combination pills. But what works best is different for each person.

It is always good to remember that these symptoms are caused by many factors. It is advised to see a gynecologist to determine the gross check-up and diagnosis. The symptoms presented here are likely to suggest a hormonal imbalance or a base medical disease lying underneath.

My period was due on November 4th And never showed.. it still wasn’t around by the 4th. so I had unprotected sex for the first time. And now I’m worried and don’t know what to do if my period doesn’t show up.
Female | 16
It is necessary to take a pregnancy test if you had unprotected sexual intercourse and the delay of your period occurs. While a negative result and the absence of your period require an additional check with consulting either gynecologists or obstetricians. They can determine if there is an underlying condition responsible for the delay and offer adequate treatment

Changes in the length of your menstrual period are quite normal and can be affected by hormonal fluctuations, stress, diet, exercise, age, and even the use of birth control. It's common for period days to change from month to month. But if you experience significant or concerning changes the consult a gynecologist for evaluation.
