Am I Suffering from Finger Nail Skin Infection?

finger nail skin infection

1 Answer

Answered on 1st Oct '24

This is often a result of germs getting in through a cut or a bruise of the skin. The signs may be as follows: redness, swelling, pain, and pus. To the authorities, clean the area, avoid skin picking or biting, and use an over-the-counter antibiotic ointment. In case it worsens or remains the same, consult a dermatologist.

There is white thin layer store on my penis head daily . Which has foul smell . It com off easy when i wash woth water . My sex partner has same pronlem with vagina . Any medicine to treat them

Male | 32

Yeast infections are often caused by the development of sweat in the skin folds, wearing tight clothing, or improper bathing. It's also recommended to clean the area with water and to dry it thoroughly. You should also try to cut down on fast foods, which are also high in sugar because yeast feeds on sugar.

Allergy swelling in hands

Female | 32

You most likely are facing swelling of your hands that is induced by an allergy. Allergies develop when the body reacts to a certain stimulus that it doesn't like, which results in swelling. Redness, itching, or even puffiness are the possible symptoms you may get on your hands. The most common causes of allergies can be some foods, insect bites, or even contact with some things. To help with swelling, consider taking antihistamines and avoiding your allergy triggers.

I am 23 years old and I did a breast surgery on 17th of march 2024 for removal of lump. The wound is yet to heal now. Few days after the surgery i noticed leakages from the stitches so i went back to the doctor then he stitched it again whivh made the healing process very slow. What can I do to heal the opened wound on my right breast? I find it difficult to bathe. I was prescribed ciprotab by the doctor and vitamin c (but I got the coloured ones instead) or should I have been using the white one? I already stopped the ciprotab

Female | 23

To help the wound heal, ensure that you keep it clean and dry, wash the area gently with some mild soap and water then dry. Any rough movements which might disrupt the stitches should be avoided. Consult with Your Doctor on the right type of vitamin C use, usually white because colored ones could have added ingredients. Should there be signs like increased pain, redness, swelling, or pus, then do seek medical Help immediately as this could mean infection.

my face is dark and acne on it

Male | 17

Dark skin patches and acne can occur due to sun exposure, hormonal changes, or clogged pores. To improve your skin, use gentle cleansers, keep your skin moisturized, and avoid harsh products. Drink plenty of water, eat healthy food, and resist picking at acne to prevent scarring. Also, protect your skin from the sun to reduce further darkening.

Male | 27

Hair loss can occur due to several reasons like stress, bad diet, or genetic factors. The signs of it are thinning hair or bald patches. To help your hair grow back, try eating a balanced diet rich in vitamins and minerals, reduce stress, and use gentle hair care products. It can be a slow process, but hair may recover with careful treatment and perseverance!

I had an operation on back side of my head in which the area was infected with an infection called carbuncle and it was cut to remove it and then the skin there regenerated soon, but its 3 years and the hair there hasn't grown yet. the diameter of that are is approx 5cm. Is there any other way to get hair back without hair transplant?

Male | 14

I recommend that you see a dermatologist for this issue. The scar tissue that resulted from the surgery might have injured the hair follicles, thus depriving them of any regrowth. Unfortunately, there is no scientifically based treatment to re-grow hair in scar tissue except by means of a transplant. Some topical treatments may be prescribed by a dermatologist

Acne is a frequent skin problem that affects a person's skin by pimples and redness. Acne can be managed by using benzoyl peroxide ointment. It operates by eradicating bacteria from the skin. You might notice dryness or peeling at first, but it usually gets better with time. It is important to use only a small amount and keep away from sensitive parts.
