Since 19th August I have been taking the contraceptive pill (brand Rigevidon) at the same time every day as close to 6pm. I experienced multiple diarrhoea cases in extreme liquid form on Monday 26th August in very early morning hours. This continued until night of Tuesday 27th August and as of today (28th August) my diarrhea is no longer as extreme liquid water from but still loose when I went. On Monday 26th August I took my pill at 6:15pm but soon had liquid diarrhea as mentioned. I had unprotected sex (pulled out 2 time) on 27th August (right after taking pill at 6pm exact) and had diarrhea shortly after intercourse and I am worried on effectiveness. I took emergency contraception within 24 hrs (Andalan postpil) but I had loose stool around 3 hours of taking and my BMI is 30.5. I then took my regular pill. Should I worry/ what to do?
Female | 22
Diarrhea certainly has the potential to disturb the working of your contraceptive pill. With diarrhea, the body may not completely take in the hormones of the pill, thus lowering its efficacy. This along with unprotected sex can definitely increase the chances of pregnancy. Having taken emergency contraception was a good move. Keep in mind that consistent pill use is important. If your loose stool still continuing, it would be a good idea to inform your gynecologist.

I’m 27 year old women for me 14 days period late I tested in pregnancy kit it’s negative 3 times But I have dizziness can’t control my hunger bloating
Female | 27
It’s usual to be concerned if your period is overdue, but it can also be caused by stress or hormonal changes. The negative pregnancy tests have usually been right, but it’s better to be safe. Hormone changes may cause dizziness, increased hunger, or bloating. You should eat well and drink plenty of water. If these things don’t go away, you might want to see a gynecologist for more peace of mind.

I had sex with my boyfriend on March 9 and last month feb 12 is my date and 2 days before my periods is coming faster normally. But this time it's been 7 days till today when calculating even if it's 12. I had took antibiotics and took 2 injections because I was facing diarrhoea. Is this reason for late periods or any other reason and I was going through Tension because I had lost my grandmother. What could be the reason for late period
Female | 23
Being anxious about a missed period is normal. Many factors like stress, sickness, and medicine can disrupt your cycle. The grief of losing someone close can impact it too. Diarrhea and shots might have thrown off your body's usual pattern. Stay calm; your period could resume shortly. However, if it doesn't, consulting a gynecologist is wise.

Irregular periods and changes in menstrual flow are common symptoms of PCOS. Brown discharge with clots after a 23 day cycle may indicate the start of your period or hormonal imbalances. Visit a gynecologist for proper treatment.

i have had an unprotected intercourse 6 days ago when my fertile window was at its peak and after that i have taken this diclofenac sodium and paracetalmol & chlorzoxazane tablet yesterday and now i have stomach ache. is it safe to take this medicine when i'm planning baby.
Female | 25
Do not take any medication without prior consultation with a specialist, specially if you are planning to get pregnant. A gynecologist or a fertility specialist visit is recommended who will help you understand what medications are safe during your periods of potential conception. The stomach ache, however could be the effect of medicine but proper diagnosis is crucial in this case.

I am a male ,and having difference in breast size , and after touching while sleeping I can feel some tissues in bigger one , my age is 29 years
Male | 29
The mass you feel in the larger part could be a sign of gynecomastia. It is due to the uneven formation of the right and left breast parts. It is not of the essence to seek the doctor's advice but in case you are uncomfortable other than talking to the doctor, you can go to the hospital to check the asymmetry.

Why doctors refuse hysterectomy?
Female | 46
In some cases, doctors may refuse hysterectomy due to ethical or moral objections like in sterilization surgeries. Some doctors may also be bound by institutional or legal guidelines that restrict certain surgeries based on age, medical necessity, or other factors.

I have pain in my stomach after sex
Female | 25
Experiencing post-coital stomachache is not a rare phenomenon, however, it could suggest an underlying issue. Several of the possible causes may include a urinary tract infection, pelvic inflammatory disease, and endometriosis. Painful intercourse is caused by these illnesses before or after it. It is essential to see a gynecologist for you to get properly diagnosed and treated.

I get my menses on the 8th and 24th is it normal
Female | 20
Your period arriving on the 8th and 24th may seem irregular. An unpredictable menstrual flow signals an erratic cycle. Stress, hormone imbalances, thyroid problems, or PCOS could cause this pattern. Recording dates on a calendar helps identify trends. Persistent irregularity warrants consulting a gynecologist for evaluation. They can suggest suitable remedies and provide guidance.

I am unmarried My period late 9 days ,I had intercourse 64 days ago . August 12 I got my period and August 19 I make intercourse after that September 14 I got periods later October 14 was my periods days but today October 22 my period is not came I have taken pregnancy test at October 23 result is negative I don't have any symptoms and last month I had fasting at night for 3 weeks is this the reason for my period late their is chance for pregnant
Female | 21
Stress, changes in the diet, or fasting sometimes can cause the delay of your period. Since your negative pregnancy test and the absence of any symptoms make the pregnancy case less likely, it's almost impossible for you to be pregnant. Just give it some more time. Do remember that you have to take care of yourself, eat well, and try to be relaxed. It's always good to talk to a gynecologist if your period still doesn't come, or if you have any concerns.

Missed periods upto days up
Female | 24
Period irregularities can come about due to several causes. Stress, fluctuations in body weight, as well as hormonal changes, are the lead causes. Pregnancy is also a potential factor if you have sexual intercourse. Side effects are usually bloating, mood swings, and breast tenderness among others. You can check your cycles and see if they come back to a regular schedule. If not, discussing it with a gynecologist may assist in identifying the problem.

Me and my partner used condoms but I think I somehow got a infection, I have discomfort when peeing and it even hurts after peeing it feels like I wanna pee more but nothing is coming out and I keep wanting to pee, i woke up 3 times today to go to the bathroom and I have greenish yellowish discharge
Female | 17
You may be experiencing a urinary tract infection (UTI). UTIs can happen even with condom use. Symptoms include pain when peeing, frequent urges to pee, and greenish-yellow discharge. To feel better, try these tips: drink plenty of water, don't hold in your pee, and see a urologist for some antibiotics.

I am rly itchy (down there but like inside) and I have a smell and thick white discharge and it’s been like this for about a week
Female | 17
It seems that you’ve got a yeast infection. Yeast are small organisms that can live in warm, humid places like inside your body. The overgrowth of them is the cause of itchiness, thick white discharge, and a smell. You may experience this more after taking antibiotics or wearing tight clothes. You can get over-the-counter creams to help treat it, but if it doesn't get better, it's important to talk to a gynecologist. Besides, wearing loose cotton underwear and avoiding perfumed products can help with the prevention of these infections in the future.

Showing anger frequently and crying frequently might be signals of postpartum depression. Most women who have recently become mothers face great stress. The truth is that this can be difficult sometimes. Due to hormonal changes and lack of sleep, it can also trigger depression. You must speak with a friend or therapist that you can trust about what is bugging you.

You mentioned experiencing all-over body pain following sexual activity about a month ago. Although you've had your period since then, the discomfort persists. This ongoing pain could potentially signify an underlying issue like an infection or inflammation. To address this concern and identify the root cause, seeking medical evaluation from a gynecologist is highly advisable. They can examine you, provide guidance, and ensure you receive appropriate care to alleviate the lingering discomfort efficiently.
