Swelling in your leg can occur due to the injury. It is your body's way of safeguarding itself. If the swelling does not subside, try elevated rest, ice pack application, and wear a compression bandage. These measures can help you swell less and thus, ease your pain and make your exam successful.

I am having tailbone pain for almost 3 weeks. The pain is sometimes sharp sometimes it goes away, I am quite tensed about it as tailbone pain relates to some serious diseases. I have consulted my family doctor, he said it's nothing serious. But the pain comes and sometimes it is very sharp, it is hampering my daily routine and work.
Male | 31
Most cases of tailbone pain are not serious but if the pain is severe and affecting your routine then you can always seek a second opinion from a specialist.. such as an orthopedic doctor or pain management specialist.

Conclusion: Hypointense fracture of the metaphysis of the tibia proximally with stress edema of the bone. Moderate suprapatellar and minor intra-articular effusion. Irritation of suprapatellar fat. ACL femoral condyle distension. Possible partial rupture of the anterior root of the lateral meniscus. Distension of the proximal tibiofibular joint.

After going through your tests, it looks like the shinbone is fractured near the joint with a gradually progressive fracture inside the bone. Besides, there is liquid in the knee with some tension in the fat pad over the patella. The anterior ligament of the knee may be strained and the meniscus, a disc in the knee, may have a minor tear. The bones are separated, namely the shinbone, and the smaller leg bones are stretched. This will bring about pain, swelling, and at times impaired mobility of the knee. Resting, elevating the lower limb, using ice, and probably a brace could be an excellent start for a cure. In some situations, physiotherapy or surgery might be required for the knee to become stronger and better. You mustn't put any weight on the leg with the problem no matter what until an orthopedist advises the opposite.

I had bypass surgery from left to right leg, balloon was placed to open blood flow, had stent put in on left side, im home now but experiencing leg pain and every once in awhile sharp pain on top of foot , is this normal ? I can find pulse on top of foot , dr said to find that if i can
Female | 57
Having some pain and discomfort in your leg after bypass surgery and having a stent put in is normal. The cause of the leg pain might be your body getting used to the new blood flow and the healing process. The sharp pain on your foot's top may be nerve irritation. It's good you can feel the pulse on your foot, but if the pain gets severe or doesn't improve, it's important to let your orthopedist know. Meanwhile, keep your leg elevated, take any prescribed pain medication, and gently massage your leg to ease the discomfort.

Male | 22
You're likely dealing with foot drop and leg paralysis. These concerning symptoms stem from nerve or muscle damage. It's crucial to get examined by a medical professional for an accurate diagnosis. Treatment options may involve physical therapy exercises to fortify your leg muscles and enhance mobility. Additionally, resting your leg, performing prescribed exercises, and utilizing assistive devices like braces could potentially aid your recovery process.

I have a problem with my lower waist for years now
Male | 18
Back pain comes and goes. But hurting for years is very bad. It might mean you have muscles that are tight or weak. Poor posture or not exercising can cause this problem. Also, sit and stand up straight. Going to a physical therapist can give you exercises to make it better.

Hi my knees keep cracking all the time when I move them
Male | 42
Knees cracking when you move them is usually due to the movement of gas bubbles in the joint fluid or the rubbing of soft tissues over bones. If there's no pain or swelling, it's generally harmless. However, if you're experiencing discomfort, it's best to consult an orthopedic doctor to rule out any underlying issues.

Hi good evening my name is techekia I am 34 years old I've been unable to walk it's been 4 years now after I give birth to my daughter I can't raise is my hand I do anything for myself I have done many tests since still can't get any answer trying to seek medical attention everywhere but I'm not getting any and it's affecting me badly and getting worst I wish if I could get some help
Female | 34
The symptoms you have explained, such as the inability to walk and numbness of the hand following delivery, are indicative of obstetric brachial plexopathy. This is a condition that occurs when the nerves around your shoulder are injured during the birthing process. Physical therapy can enhance your muscle power and flexibility. Physical therapists can give the right evaluation and the measures that work for them. I recommend consulting a physical therapist for further advice.

Painful thumb nail of leg pak thay evo
Female | 21
You might be having an ingrown toenail. This is when the toenail no longer grows on the skin but rather grows inside it. It can bring on further irritation, discoloration, and the build-up of bodily fluids. Tight shoes, or, on the other hand, improper nail clipping, are two principal causes of this situation. To get relief, you can soak your foot in some warm water and gently try to lift your nail. In cases of intense pain, visit an orthopedist for treatment.

Yesterday I was playing football ⚽️ and while playing football on ground with my friends I fall while changing direction my ankle was not rolled but still it started paining and while playing I can't feel the pain more and played for some time but after coming the pain increases I saw that my ankle was swollen and it was paining just above the bone not directly on the bone but just above it I want to clarify that it is just a sprain or fracture one more thing the pain is just above the ankle (feel most of the pain only on that area but the whole arear is equally swollen) and not spreading to whole ankle or leg
Male | 15
There's a chance your ankle sprain happened while playing football. Stretched or torn ligaments cause sprains. You likely have pain, swelling, and trouble moving that ankle. The pain location suggests a sprain over fracture. Avoid excess weight on it. If pain persists or worsens, see an orthopedist.
