Male | 31
Suffering from a disc bulge leads to back or neck pain, which radiates into the arms or legs. To address this, consult an orthopedist, who will diagnose the condition through physical examination and imaging tests. Treatment options range from taking rest, physical therapy, and medication or surgery in severe cases.

iam 39 years old I have an lateral meniscus horizontal tear surgery in March 15 2024 and I have two times synovitis problem with in 6 months so I want to know the reason why iam facing synovitis
Male | 39
You have encountered synovitis after your meniscus surgery. Synovitis is the condition where the lining of the joint gets swollen and hurtful. Surgery can cause this because of inflammation or irritation of the joint. Synovitis can be managed with rest, ice, and anti-inflammatory medications which are the best methods. If the issue does not go away, visit your orthopedic specialist for more examination and treatment alternatives.

Please I have severe pain in my lower back down to both of my legs
Male | 24
You might be suffering from sciatica, a condition where pain starts in your lower back and goes down to your legs. This happens because a nerve in your back is under pressure. The pain can be shooting, sharp, or constant. To relieve the pain, it is important to rest, use heat or ice packs, and do gentle stretches. If the pain persists, it's best to see an orthopedist for further tests and treatment options.

Recently i am facing joint pain, specially knee pain. cannot sleep more than 5 hours. after waking up from bed too much of back pain, i am taking calcium medicine and vitamin D3 but still the same problem
Female | 43
Arthritis afflicts joints, causing swelling and soreness. Your knee pain, trouble sleeping, and back ache indicate this condition. Gentle exercises like swimming or walking can strengthen muscles, complementing calcium and vitamin D3 supplements. Consulting an orthopedist about physical therapy or pain medication may provide additional relief. With proper treatment, managing arthritis symptoms becomes more manageable.

I am having back, hips and leg pain, unable to walk since 1 week.
Female | 36
These symptoms may be due to a few possibilities such as muscle strain, nerve problems, or even some issue with your spine. The following are first things that you must do: Rest, ice packs, and avoid any activities that worsen the pain. Gentle stretches and take over-the-counter pain relievers if needed. However, if the pain does not stop or gets worse, it is best to see an orthopedist for a correct diagnosis and treatment plan.

I got little accident by scooty I felt 3 days before.. there is no more scratch... But my toe (leg) is swelled and bood clott got reddish patch and having pain.. please suggest me what to do.
Female | 17
You may be suffering from a blood clot in your leg as a result of the accident. Injury to the leg causes blood to pool and form a clot causing swelling, redness, and pain. This is serious because the clot may break free and travel to other parts of your body. Elevate your leg above your heart, apply ice, and take a break. When the pain persists or becomes severe, go to the nearest hospital immediately.

I have had shoulder blade pain since 2 months. I consulted a orthopaedic. He examined and said I have a herniated disc and prescribed me some pain killers. Those painkillers donot work at all.I consulted other doctor. He too prescribed me pain killers. And told that if the pain doesn't heal they will have to perform a surgery. I want to know if I should consume pain killers or go ahead with the surgery. Or can you suggest me a way to heal the herniated disc.
Female | 18
If painkillers aren't working surgery may be necessary . .Also , physical therapy may help. Herniated discs can be caused by poor posture , obesity, or heavy lifting..... Strengthening core muscles can help prevent future herniation. But to conclude anything between medication or surgery, need to evaluate reports

I am 17 yrs old girl having problem about my height increasing and my bone problem pain i am normal but i suffered bone pain i have been no diagonesed with any disease
Female | 17
Bone pain may be a consequence of various factors such as growth spurts or poor posture which may be the reason for this. For now, think of your bones as if they are naturally adjusting themselves as you grow taller. Measure your intake of calcium and vitamin D as a way of ensuring you get enough of these minerals for healthy bones. Even if the pain persists, it's best to talk with an orthopedist.

Sir my age is 58 yrs old and I am suffering back pan injury from couple yrs due DISC DIFFUSE BULGE AT L4-L5 LEVEL AND L5-S1 LEVEL BY MRI SCAN LUMBAR SPINE. PLEASE ADVISE ?
Male | 58
The bulging discs at L4-L5 and L5-S1 levels might be a reason for the nearby nerves to get compressed which would have caused the pain. Sometimes, resting, physical therapy, and pain medications can help manage the problem. In cases where the pain is severe and other treatments don't work, surgery can be an option. Generally, you should keep your body safe and abide by your doctor's orders to discover the most effective method for treating your back pain.

Hi, I fell on my elbow, had an inflamed tendon preventing me from extending my arm fully for a couple of weeks and an infection, the wound took 2 months to heal as it got infected but did heal up fine, it was xrayed and all seemed fine. It's now been 8 months, the point of my elbow doesn't feel as smooth as the other one now, it hurts more when I bang that elbow, it hurts when I do specific exercises like press ups or bicep curls and tricep overhead extensions (those hurt the most), the pain is like a strong stinging pain. I wanted to ask if this sounds like any specific injury or condition?
Male | 28
You could have developed bursitis, an inflamed condition of the sacs cushioning your joints. When these sacs become irritated, movements might cause pain. Ice packs may help, as can avoiding aggravating activities and gentle stretches. However, if pain persists, consult an orthopedist. They'll properly assess and recommend next steps for managing this elbow issue.

Your toenail got broken by the bike stand. You may see a bruise, pain, and swelling in the area. The toenail might also be damaged. I am 25 year old male. I was playing soccer and I had a fairly significant leg on leg contact on my shin, it shows lots of bruising but that feels expected. What is unexpected is that my ankle/foot has intense bruising that is a deep purple and fairly large. It is tender to touch but I feel no pain otherwise on my ankle. What could this be?
Male | 25
You might have something called compartment syndrome. This occurs when the pressure within the muscles of your leg increases leading to swelling and pain. There could be intense bruising around your ankle can be an indication of this. It is vital to have it checked by an orthopedist immediately so as not to have any further complications.

I need knee replacement and also ivf
As per my understanding you want to know about the 1. Total knee replacement and 2. IVF. 1. Total Knee replacement surgery is done to replace the damaged joints so patient is relieved of symptoms. The knee joint with an artificial knee called prosthesis made of metal, plastic, and ceramic. It helps to restore function of the damaged knee and relieve arthritis pain. Knee replacement surgery is advised if the pain is interfering with your daily activities and negatively affecting your quality of life. Generalized fitness is important here. Total knee replacement is being done on the patients routinely, but some of the risks associated with this surgery are infection, blood clots, failure of the artificial joint, heart attack etc. Post surgery care, rehabilitation is very important. Consult an orthopedic. 2. In vitro fertilization (IVF) is a process of fertilization, where an egg is combined with sperm and fertilized outside the body, in a liquid in a laboratory. Consult Best Gynecologists in Mumbai, or any other city, who on evaluation will guide through the treatment. Hope our answer helps you.

I have a wound on my knee. Two days ago i fall in the road
Female | 22
I think you got a scratch on your knee when you fell. It's okay to have pain, redness, and swelling around your wound. This is because the fall has injured your skin. The solution is to gently clean the wound using soap and water, apply an antibiotic ointment, and cover it with an adhesive bandage. Always change the dressing daily until it heals. Opening up is necessary if the pain worsens or you notice any infections with symptoms like pus, light redness, or warmth.
