It sounds like you are dealing with a lot of stress and emotional difficulties. It's important to speak with a psychiatrist, who can provide the right diagnosis and treatment, including any necessary medication. Please do visit a psychiatrist to get the help you need.

See a psychologist or psychiatrist as soon as possible and get treated for any possible mental health issues that may be influencing your symptoms. In addition, go to a nutritionist or dietitian and have them compose a meal plan which will be a part of a healthy weight maintenance.

Hie I'm ishita I'm 19 yrs old ..so idk why I'm feel anxious continuously nd I feel shivernesss and something in my abdomen nd my chest becomes heavy

Female | 19

It is anxiety that you are facing. This can lead to trembling, palpitation, shortness of breath, and stomach tightness.  Try taking deep breaths, talking to someone you trust, and doing activities you enjoy. Drinking water and receiving enough sleep may help, too. It's important to keep reminding yourself that the feelings you have are normal and that the situation may get better eventually.

My recent psychiatrist advised me to check with an endroconologist, and a psychotherapist who specializes in sexuality. Any suggestion? Patient is a women of age 42 and is suffering from some mental or brain related issue. She shakes her head frequently and often does not work normally of her day to day work

Female | 42

Information given by you ( some mental or brain related issues)is insufficient to arrive to proper diagnosis, Repeatedly shaking of head needs to see a neurologist, rather than endocrinologist, talk with your therapist for further treatment

I am 25 years old and 228, first time seeing this doctor. She prescribed me lisnopril 2.5mg only take if my blood pressure rises and my heart rate was fast. I get nervous easily and have anxiety

Female | 25

You are dealing with some anxiety and fast heart rate. It's not unusual for your heart to fasten up when you are nervous. Anxiety can sometimes lead to high blood pressure as well. The drug lisinopril 2.5mg can reduce high blood pressure but only when you need it, for example, if your blood pressure becomes too high. You should practice visualization techniques and keep calm to overcome your anxiety.

Hello 2 years ago, I had ED, only sometimes (once or twice a month i used to get very hard errection otherwise it was very very spongy like) - I then had panic attacks diagnosis and started taking serlift and etizom for 5 months now. I noticed my muscles and body is grown and also I get hard errection when i have a strong desire. Sometimes twice a day but when i am sad again, i again have the problem. Is my ed because of this panic attacks? Will it go away automatically forever or can it come back after i stop medicines?

Male | 26

You’ve had a tough time dealing with erectile dysfunction before, and sometimes, medical conditions can be a cause. Feeling down or stressed can also affect your ability to get an erection. The good news is that your current medication seems to be helping. As your mental health improves, your ED might get better as well.

Feeling too sleepy but still not getting sleep

Female | 27

This happens when you're anxious or stressed. Irregular habits play a role too. Caffeine and screen time before bed don't help either. Try a calming routine - read, take a warm bath. Avoid caffeine, screens close to bedtime. Keep a consistent sleep schedule. If it persists, talk to a therapist or counsellor.

Hi - I am taking for 10 months now mirtazipine 30 mg. Is it ok to half the dose - or do I need to build down more slowly? I gain a lot of weight … Thank you

Female | Joke

A common side effect of mirtazapine is weight gain. Talk with your doctor before you reduce your dose. They might recommend a strategy to decrease the dose gradually so that you won't have withdrawal symptoms. It is dangerous to quickly change your dose; therefore, it is necessary to do it carefully under the supervision of your doctor.

Can i take herbal vitamin b12 supplements while I am taking antidepressents.

Female | 43

Vitamin B12 herbal supplements go great with antidepressants. If B12 is low, feelings might be tired, weak, and dizzy. Antidepressants can make it hard for B12 to absorb properly in the body. A supplement helps keep normal B12 levels. Tell your doctor before starting any new supplement.

Female | 15

I can understand how waiting for exam scores makes you feel very bad. Your body can get weak, and afraid, and your heart can beat fast when you are anxious. It is just how your body acts when it feels stress. To feel good, try breathing deeply, talk to someone about how you feel, and do things you like. Remember, exam scores do not show who you are as a person.

I haven't been feeling the effects of drugs like caffeine, codeine or nicotine for some time now and it's concerning me. I was put onto risperidone and propranolol for seven months before this started happening. Could you help me determine the cause?

Male | 20

It's true that these medications can sometimes influence your body's reaction to caffeine, codeine, or nicotine. There's a chance these drugs are altering your responses. The wisest step would be discussing your concerns with a healthcare professional. They'll help decide the ideal approach for your situation.
