Gynecologist/Obstetrician

Answered on 23rd May '24

Contractions during labor are one of the causes of pregnant women experiencing pain, irritability, and discomfort. As the situation unfolds, you must remain calm and clear-minded. I suggest you seek the help of an obstetrician/gynecologist who can guide and support you once you are in the labor room.

Questions & Answers on "Gynaecology" (4272)

I'm 19 female who using olanzapine and mirtazapine since 27, my period should've come in 28. I'm not pregnant, I might have hypoprolactinemia, my results gonna come in Monday. My period is delayed by 19 days right know. 2 year ago my period was off cycle without any reasons (maybe weather change, it was in May) and I used birth control pills and my cycle was turned to normal. Is there a chance that mirtazapine cause my period delay or is it because of seasonal change agaşn? (I do not have any health problems, cycst etc.)

Female | 19

Mirtazapine may disturb your cycle and cause your periods to be late. Seasonal changes can also be a factor. Stress and some drugs are also responsible for your period being unchanged. After you get the test results on Monday, you will be able to understand better. Meanwhile, try to calm down, drink enough water, and get enough sleep.

I am 20 yrs old . On the 28th of august, I had sex. We had unprotected sex. Little did I know, I would be ovulating today. Though he did not release it in me , I have fear that I might get pregnant. What are the chances of pregnancy and would taking a Plan B pill still be considered effective as it is already the 30th

Female | 20

The possibility of pregnancy is slightly higher because he withdrew instead of ejaculating inside you. However, there is always some risk associated with sex without a condom, especially around the time of ovulation. Taking Plan B within 72 hours after unprotected sex can reduce the chances of pregnancy. It is intended for emergencies, not regular birth control. Symptoms of pregnancy may include missed periods, nausea, breast tenderness, and fatigue. Consider Plan B if you're concerned; it will help ease your worries.

Cricpill tab safe during 5th month pregnancy

Female | 30

I would recommend that pregnant women avoid taking whatever medicine without consulting her doctor at least in the fifth month of pregnancy. Before using any medication during pregnancy, it is advisable that one should make sure to consult a gynecologist

Can I be pregnant if I had unprotected sex in May month but got my period for June and July?

Female | 22

Occasionally, periods can be a bit of light bleeding which can be mistaken for an early pregnancy. In addition to that, there are also symptoms like nausea, breast tenderness, and fatigue that can be a sign of pregnancy. Nonetheless, having a period is not a definitive indication that you are not pregnant. If you're worried, taking a pregnancy test is a good idea to make sure.

Got inflammation results in pap smear but not at all cancerous, then is it recommended to go for HPV vaccination

Female | 41

the best advice I can give you is to follow your gynecologist's instructions. You have to keep monitoring inflammation through regular clinic visits and your doctor should always be consulted in case of any abnormalities. Even though the inflammation itself may not be cancerous, it could still be the product of HPV, which, in turn, is linked to cancer. In case you have not yet received the HPV vaccine, you may suggest taking it as a preventative measure.
