How Soon After Jadelle Implant for Unprotected Sex Safely?
I did Jadelle implant. How many days will it take to have unprotected sex without pregnancy
Gynecologist/Obstetrician
Answered on 23rd Dec '24
The Jadelle implant is instantly effective if it is inserted during your menstrual period. If not, then you will have to wait for seven days to be fully protected. There may be some mild side effects you might encounter, such as irregular bleeding or tenderness, which are common and typically resolve over time. Please be aware that the implant works by preventing ovulation, decreasing the odds of pregnancy. If you have any health worries, do not hesitate to call your gynecologist and talk about them with him/her.

It's quite common for women aged 20 and under to have irregular periods. This can be due to stress, dietary changes, or hormonal imbalances. While homeopathy might have been helpful, it may be time to consult a gynecologist. A specialist can run tests to identify the cause and recommend the right treatment.

Mere period date abhi miss nhi hua hai pr pregnancy test positive aaya hai or mujhe irregular periods ki bhi problem hai to kya mai pregnant ho skti hu?
Female | 23
If your test for pregnancy turns out to be positive, it implies that you are already pregnant irrespective of whether your period has been late or not. An abnormal period may indicate any health problem that can affect your pregnancy. A visit to the doctor who is a specialist in high-risk pregnancies is a must for you as soon as possible.

I want to ask about chlamydia treatment. I was positive of chlamydia and they gave me a treatment but the treatment is almost two weeks now but I still have a very slight yellow or like clear discharge but very less than before is this normal?
Female | 23
It's normal to have some discharge after chlamydia treatment. Chlamydia can cause yellowish or clear discharge, and while treatment works, symptoms may take a little time to fully disappear. As long as the discharge reduces and you're feeling better, the treatment is effective. Continue taking care of yourself and if you are concerned, see a gynecologist.

Female | 35
It’s common to feel discomfort due to scar tissue and changes in sensitivity. To help, try using lubrication to reduce friction with your partner. Take things slowly, and keep communication open about what feels comfortable. If the pain continues, don’t hesitate to ask your gynecologist for more help.

My periods is delaying My last periods was on august 20
Female | 27
There are a variety of factors that can cause a delay in menstruation. STRESS, WEIGHT, and PCOS are all common. PREGNANCY or menopause are also possible explanations for a late period. If you are SEXUALLY ACTIVE, it is recommended that you take a pregnancy test. Otherwise, it may be best to simply WAIT IT OUT. If your period still hasn't arrived after a month, it's time to CONSULT A DOCTOR.

Female | 30
You might be suffering from a condition known as vaginal prolapse. This occurs when the organs in your pelvis descend due to weak muscles. Signs may include feeling a lump close to or in the vagina and pain when you cough. One way to manage it would be to avoid lifting heavy objects, perform pelvic floor exercises regularly, and seek further advice from a gynecologist.

These diseases can bring on a lot of symptoms like lower abdominal pain, nausea, and weakness. The swelling in the vaginal area is also one of the common problems. Sudden high body temperature and feeling sick for a short period are the signs of pollution. You should consult a gynecologist and get the right diagnosis and treatment.

I have a bump on my labia and I know it isn’t an STD. It started swelling and appeared after I shaved. It’s tender.
Female | 23
It appears you have developed a razor bump in your labia area. This can occur when hair follicles get irritated after shaving. The result is swelling tenderness and a visible bump forming. To assist, try using warm compresses for soothing relief. Avoid shaving until the bump heals completely. If symptoms persist or worsen, it's advisable to consult a gynecologist.

I took a positive pregnancy test presumably 4.5 weeks gestation. I am now 10 weeks gestation, tomorrow. I took a pregnancy test tonight as a result of overthinking and doubt whether I'm pregnant or not. It was negative. However, I've been experiencing tender sore breasts, nosebleeds, light cramping, back pain, feeling more hungry yet hesitant to eat much due to feeling nauseous at various times of the day and "pregnancy rage" (I'm a very calm person. It's out of charachter)
Female | 27
You've had uncommon symptoms lately. The negative test doesn't always mean no pregnancy. Early pregnancy often brings tender breasts and nausea. Nosebleeds, cramping, back pain, and mood shifts can relate to pregnancy hormones too. Take care of yourself by resting when needed, drinking enough fluids, and eating small meals frequently. If you're concerned, consult a gynecologist.

Is it normal to bleed 8 days after taking the plan b
Male | 19
This is a common side effect of Plan B; nonetheless, there are some cases when it might also cause bleeding. Sometimes, the pill may alter your menstrual cycle and then you'll get the annoying bleeding. But, if you have heavy bleeding, severe pain, or feel dizzy, you must consult the doctor about this. Make it a habit to drink plenty of water and take proper amounts of rest.

I am 20 yrs old female having pain and swelling in vaginal area with body pain and weakness. There is a bad odour from vagina and white liquid discharge.
Female | 20
You may have a yeast infection. Pain, swelling, a bad odor, and a white discharge, are all signs of this problem. Yeast infections can be caused by several factors, such as a weak immune system, antibiotics, or wearing tight clothes. To treat this, you can do it through over-the-counter antifungal cream or pills. As for hygiene, maintaining the dryness of the area and adding cotton underwear can also assist in that.

Female | 23
I recommend that you contact your gynecologist or obstetrician right away. This could be a sign of infection that left untreated will harm both you and the baby. Your doctor will give a diagnosis and treatment options for that condition.
