Abscess is nothing but a major inflammation and infection in the body. It can be treated with medications superficially but to treat it from root cause start with high veg protein diet, include good fats like seeds, nuts and good water intake per day. Start with nutraceutical supplements like omega 3 capsules, and protein powder to fulfil the therapeutic requirement. You can get in touch with me for a high protein diet plan and supplementation.

Unlike other bacterial infections, antibiotics alone don’t cure abscesses. It must open and drain out the pus. Draining may occur on its own, but in most cases, it drains with the help of a warm compress or by a surgeon in a procedure called incision and drainage (I&D).

Hello
Abscess can get healed with acupuncture.
At times due to excess pus formation, pus can be removed and then acupuncture is given for balancing the body meridians to stop recurrent abscess.

An abscess can form anywhere in the body, such as abscess on buttocks, groin, genital area, or organs. You can read everything about the causes and treatment of the painful accumulation of pus here.

An abscess is a cavity in the tissue filled with pus that can develop in many different parts of the body – abscess on buttocks, on the neck, on the gums or in organs such as the intestines. In order to treat the painful boils, the doctor usually opens them.

Surgical removal is good option, during the procedure, the doctor cuts into the abscess, to allow the pus to drain out. They may also take a sample of pus for testing. Once all of the pus has been removed, doctor will clean the hole that is left by the abscess using sterile saline.

What does <20 means regarding HIV? Am I being exposed to HIV?

Male | 24

Your <20 HIV test result means that it was not detected in the sample of your blood. While this is true it should be noted that up to 3 months were needed for the virus to appear in the test. If you have a concern regarding HIV exposure, it would be best to schedule an appointment with an infectious disease specialist. He or she will do a proper testing and will guide you through the process.

I just got out of the hospital and need some advice. My bladder got emptied with a catheter. Can I have a glass of wine with dinner?

Male | 76

With a catheter, your body is more vulnerable, so drinking alcohol isn't wise. Booze irritates the bladder, causing extra discomfort. Drink water or juice instead, for now. Allow your system to rest and recovery time.

My husband is an IV user and his left arm has a bunch of open sores and it's swollen and appears to be infected. 3 days ago he started to get b head aches but he refuses to see a doctor. Is there anything at home I can do for him

Male | 50

Your husband's arm is in a bad state. The open sores and swelling could be a sign of an infection. If he's also experiencing headaches, things could get worse. Infections can be spread quickly! At home, you can help by cleaning the sores gently with warm water and soap, then covering them with band-aids. But he should see a doctor as soon as possible because infections can be dangerous.

I am skinny and the problem is weakness

Female | 40

Some possible culprits are not eating enough food, missing out on key nutrients, or being too active. To build up your strength, eat well-rounded meals that include fruits, vegetables, protein sources like meat or beans as well as whole grains such as brown rice or whole wheat bread. Try to do some light exercises too. If none of this works, talk with a doctor about it.

I was suffering from chikunguniya since last month, still some symptoms are there body pain and arthritis.i missed my period this month is it normal

Female | 31

The cause of these symptoms is stress on the body, and consequently, the missed period. This occurs since your body is still on its way to getting back to normal.  You should obviously take care of your health, eat right, drink enough water, and sleep enough. If your symptoms persist or worsen, it's important to seek medical advice.
