Varicose veins can be managed and their appearance reduced through various treatment options. Lifestyle changes, such as exercise and wearing compression stockings, can help alleviate symptoms. Medical procedures like sclerotherapy, endovenous ablation, vein stripping and ligation, vein surgery, etc are available for more severe cases. So its best if you get it checked with a doctor.

Once a person has reached their full adult height, there is no surgical procedure or medical intervention to significantly increase it. Limb lengthening surgeries are complex, risky, and typically reserved for medical conditions, not for cosmetic height increase.

Doctor I discharged from hospital on June 21.. due to chronic food poisoning I am feeling extremely lethargic.I m a yoga therapist n used to practice meditation n yoga everyday early mrg.Even afr 1.5 month,I m feeling terrible weak.I took vitcofol injection but in vain.currently b12 n d3 medicine n iron medicine in taking....I take sleep of round 12 hours.I m very tense now.I told my doc n he prescribed depression medicine.I didn't took that bcos dats not solution.
Female | 37
Being tired and having so little energy can be your body still weakly getting over the chronic food poisoning. A lack of B12, D3, and iron is also the reason for drowsiness. Don't forget to eat healthy, drink enough water, and keep on with your yoga and meditation. Be patient, as healing is a lengthy process. Stress prevention is a significant point for your health.

I drunk 4 sips of alcohol 30 mins after 500 mg paracetamol . But I realised I should not and I stopped. Am I safe?
Male | 37
It's probably not a good idea to drink alcohol after paracetamol. Though nothing terrible will happen if you've only had a few sips, it’s great that you didn’t drink more. Watch out for any nausea, stomachache or dizziness. If you start feeling bad, it’s better to visit a doctor.

I m getting fever with chill and headache for the last 10 days. Had visited one of my locals doctors first gave some medicines from clinic itself for 2 days but after taking medicines fever goes out but later come in the night. Then again I consulted the doctor he recommended CBC blood test and urine test. In which haemoglobin was 11 and in urine puss cell was 5. He prescribed some medicines such as Zefu CV 250 Zopran DSR Zerodol P Defcort 6 Cital. But the problem still the same. Now feeling more weak.
Female | 29
If you have been having a fever, shivering, and headache for a long time, you can be sure you will be worried about it. These symptoms could be a possible sign of an infection or condition that needs further testing. With the most recent test results considered and no reaction or only slight improvements when your present medication procedures are being applied, I recommend you visit your doctor once again for the following sort of evaluation. They may ask for other tests to find the real problem or they might change your treatment plan.

Hi, I was prescribed azithromycin for an ear infection I had and took 500 MG on day one and then 250 MG per day for the next 4 days. If I were to also have chlamydia, would this dosage cure that as well?
Male | 22
Azithromycin belongs to the antibiotic category, is one of the drugs most frequently applied against various kinds of bacterial infections including chlamydia. But the amount and length of treatment may be different for each person and based on the severity of the illness and the individual factors. You should see a doctor to get yourself diagnosed and treated in the right way.

I am a 32 year old male, i am suffering through cold and flu for past two days, please suggest a prescription to treat this.
Male | 33
Looks like you have the common signs of a viral infection, such as a runny nose, cough, tiredness, and painful throat. These disorders are often caused by the common cold viruses. To reduce the symptoms, non-prescription drugs such as acetaminophen or ibuprofen can be considered for pain relief, antihistamines for congestion, and plenty of liquids to stay hydrated. Rest is also important for recovery. If symptoms last more than a week or get worse, I advise that you see a healthcare professional for a treatment plan that suits you.

Female | 37
It’s important to recognize that discomfort beneath the left breast can stem from various causes, including muscle strain, gastrointestinal issues, or even heart-related concerns. While rest and over-the-counter pain relievers may provide relief, it’s essential to listen to your body. If discomfort persists or worsens, please seek medical attention. A physician will be able to conduct a proper assessment and determine the underlying cause, ensuring the best care and guidance tailored to your needs.

lice went into my ear and i know that since i have lice and my glasses have lice (probably) and I pulled my temple of the glasses like a slingshot and it hit my ear. I felt like lice on the temple were going at my ear and now i have an itching sensation in my ear. Will the lice just go away on its own or not. Please reply ASAP :(
Male | 14
Lice in the ear can cause serious infections and complications if left untreated. Talk to ENT specialist they will examine your ear and prescribe the appropriate treatment to get rid of the lice and prevent further complications. Do not try to remove the lice yourself as it may cause more harm

My mother is trying to pass medical test for work visa. But her xray is showing benign adipocytes and scattered lymphocytes. No atypical cells / granuloma found. Her age - 49 Height - 150 cm Weight - 69 kg Can you suggest any tips to hide this unharmful lymphocytes from imaging in an xray?

The benign adipocytes and scattered lymphocytes on your mom's x-ray seem normal. Lymphocytes fight infections, keeping us healthy. There's no way to hide them in an x-ray since they're part of the body's defense system.
