Why do I have irregular bowel movements?
I am 19 years old female, I know that i have a sensitive gut but 15-20 days back, I was traveling and eating a lot of junk yet processed food and at restaurants. I ate out for almost 4 days. Later on I ate large amounts of noodles of maida. Like really too much. And after a week or so till today I have been facing issue clearing stomach, also my poop is not very long, its sometimes short and it's not too thin. Sometimes it's in bits and pieces. Sometimes it's circular or curved. Sometimes I comes out at one go in pieces. I googled and I got a lot scared. What should I do? I am not that rich too. Google says to go for colonoscopy and all. I am really scared. I sometimes get this weird side stitch too.

The reason why your stomach is upset is the different foods you eat. These changes in your poop may be due to your diet. Eating a large amount of noodles can be heavy on the stomach and be difficult to digest. This may be why you also feel a side-stitch. Sticking to healthy, simple foods like fruits and vegetables is an excellent way to assist your stomach. Besides, drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration. Allow your tummy some time to settle down. If your symptoms persist, it would be a good idea to consult with a gastroenterologist. But for now, concentrate on gentle, nutritious foods and enough water to make your gut feel better.

The signs you mentioned suggest you are experiencing gastric distress, which happens when the stomach can't process food properly. This often leads to gas buildup and causes discomfort. It's not related to a lack of vitamins. Try eating smaller portions, avoid spicy and oily foods, and chew your food slowly. Drinking a glass of warm water can also help you feel better.

I have had constant acid reflux for going on 2 years, every day - all day. I have taken ppi and other remedies but nothing seems to work and no doctor seems to take this serious. I need this to go away for good if possible. I honestly am so miserable, I can hardly eat or drink.
Male | 23
For chronic acid reflux that didn't respond to any treatment, it's important to consult a gastroenterologist for a thorough evaluation. They can recommend different medications and lifestyle modifications. If necessary, additional tests may be conducted to identify underlying factors. You may also try seeking a second opinion from a specialist..

I am 21 years old I am having mild abdominal pain , mild testicular pain , foul smell pee , burning while urinating
Male | 21
You probably have a normal bacterial infection known as a urinary tract infection (UTI). It occurs when bacteria get inside the urethra and the bladder and infect them. Typical symptoms include lower belly pain, pain in your private area, smelly pee, and burning while you pee. You have to drink a lot of water and go to a gastroenterologist for the cure with antibiotics.

I am 34. I am male. Blood is coming out of the toilet door because my bowels are hard. It has been going on for two or three days. No pain.
Male | 35
It appears as though you are encountering bowel difficulties. When the poop contains blood, even if there is no pain, it is abnormal. This may occur when the bowels are firm due to insufficient water consumption or fiber intake. You can attempt to soften your stool by drinking a lot of water and consuming more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. If the problem persists, schedule an appointment with a gastroenterologist for a check-up.

I have pain in my upper stomach
Male | 36
Upper stomach pain may be attributed to a wide range of causes. Indigestion, acid reflux, or even a stomach ulcer could be the reason for this. However, in other cases, eating spicy or fat-rich foods is a cause of such diseases. It is not only necessary to keep track of your diet but also to try to stay away from foods that cause pain. Drinking copious amounts of water and consuming smaller, more frequent meals are also two good ways to lessen the inconvenience. If the problem remains or is more painful, it is necessary to visit a gastroenterologist.

My boyfriend had, what I suspect to be, Norovirus 8 days ago. He had diarrhea for about 18 to 22 hours, and he only had one bout of vomiting, which he believes was due to the Mountain Dew he drank on an upset stomach. Since its been 8 days since his symptoms have stopped, would it be safe to engage in close contact activities like kissing again?
Male | 23
Norovirus is a bug. It can make your stomach feel bad. After it goes away, wait a bit before kissing. This makes sure it is all gone. 8 days since his last symptoms are good. But wait longer to be safe. Washing hands well stops the spread.

Motions not curing after taking medicine stops motion and again after 5days starting motions
Female | 26
A stomach issue seems the problem. Motions not leaving with treatment, and returning after days, could mean a bug or food poisoning. They bring stomach pain, loose motions, and puking. Drink lots of water for hydration. Eat bland food. If there's no improvement, see a gastroenterologist.

I have been taking zerodol and antibiotics for 5 days. And after the completion of the course I am having some acid reflux. What should I do ?
Female | 26
You have acid reflux after you finish your medications. The antibiotics might have disturbed your stomach, playing a role in developing acid reflux. To help alleviate your symptoms, avoid spicy and acidic foods, eat smaller meals, and sit up straight after eating. You can also consider taking over-the-counter antacids. If the symptoms last, it is better to follow up with a gastroenterologist.

I’m 21 y.o male I have something like bit big bump under my stomach when it’s under touch or pressure hurts badly
Male | 21
You may have a hernia. If it’s painful, avoid heavy lifting and see a gastroenterologist. When you strain or lift something heavy, a part of your insides is pushed out through a weak spot in your muscles. This could be the cause of the lump under the skin in your lower abdomen. Surgery might be necessary if the pain is severe.

I’ve been having light brown poo along with a type 6 on the Bristol stool chart for more than a week. My stool is also floating. Lastly for around the same time when I need to go to the toilet it’s a matter of urgency when it’s never been like that in my whole life. And another thing is that when I have done a poo I feel like I need to go again as I don’t feel I have emptied it completely
Female | 18
Your bowel movements may have altered. Light brown floating poop and sudden urges to go could occur. Not feeling empty after pooping may happen too. Diet shifts, infections, and digestive problems could cause this. Drink more water to help. Eat fiber-rich fruits and veggies. Consult a gastroenterologist if issues persist.

Female | 39
Pain starting in the middle of the chest and then extending to the person's back is a possible symptom of either acid reflux or heartburn. When there is an increase in swelling and at the same time intense pain, the possibility of inflammation in the digestive system cannot be ruled out. Eating smaller meals, avoiding spicy dishes, and sitting up after meals are some non-pharmacological measures largely recommended for acid reflux. Consult a Gastroenterologist for personal therapy when no result is seen after medication use.

Male | 30
Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) can be quite difficult. It brings about pains similar to ulcers and a sore lower back which, can be a nuisance. The source is not yet fully known, but some factors such as stress, diet, or the sensitivity of the gut may be affecting it. However, there is no magic solution, but learning to cope with stress, eating healthy, and some light physical activity can help alleviate the symptoms.
