I took Zerodol and antibiotics, now acid reflux?

I have been taking zerodol and antibiotics for 5 days. And after the completion of the course I am having some acid reflux. What should I do ?

You have acid reflux after you finish your medications. The antibiotics might have disturbed your stomach, playing a role in developing acid reflux. To help alleviate your symptoms, avoid spicy and acidic foods, eat smaller meals, and sit up straight after eating. You can also consider taking over-the-counter antacids. If the symptoms last, it is better to follow up with a gastroenterologist.

Hello Doctor! I'm 26 year old male and today during brushing my teeth i have swallowed tootpaste after that my stomach is feeling uncomfortable and i also vomit. What can i do to overcome it should i visit nearby hospital

Male | 26

Toothpaste contains ingredients like fluoride that can sometimes cause stomach discomfort and vomiting. Your symptoms are your body’s way of reacting. Be sure to drink plenty of water to help flush it out. If the discomfort continues or worsens, it’s best to visit a doctor to avoid any complications.

I’ve had constipation for six months and I have been using dulcolax every week to help, however this week when I used my dose, I felt nauseous and didn’t feel my normal budge in stool. I suspect I have impacted stool or some sort of blockage. I tried 2 enemas however after using them (lying on my left, inserting it for 5 minutes and staying still) it didn’t work. My main question is If I’m having impacted stool should I take miralax powder , dulcolax pills, or suppositaries, or a third enema Or book a colonic treatment? thank you

Male | 17

If you feel sick after taking Dulcolax you may need to try a different method. When stool is impacted it means that the poo has become stuck and will not come out very easily. Use Miralax powder which can help to soften it. You can mix it with a drink and take it according to the instructions on the packet. Make sure you also drink lots of water. If there is no change when using Miralax then you should speak to a healthcare professional for further advice.

My sgpt level is 82 it's serious or not

Male | 24

Your SGPT level is 82, which isn't too bad, but it's higher than the usual range. This might indicate problems with your liver such as fatty liver or hepatitis. If you feel tired all the time, unwell, or have pain in the upper right side of your tummy then these symptoms could also be related. To reduce a higher SGPT number in the blood focus on healthy eating habits while avoiding alcohol completely and keeping physically active. For more individualized recommendations it would be best to consult with a doctor.

I'm using Hyoscine butyibromide tablets. I want to ask if I can use Ibuprofen with it

Female | 23

The butyl bromide compound Hyoscine butyl bromide is good for treating stomach or intestinal problems, while Ibuprofen provides relief for pain and inflammation. If you need it, it is generally safe to take them together. Nonetheless, you should always consult with your pharmacist or doctor before associating any medicines together.

Not proper digestive system work , continue flow nose cough, acid reflux in stomach , not stomach properly clean washroom timing

Male | 24

Your stomach might act up, causing a runny nose, coughing, acid reflux, and irregular bathroom breaks. This could be from eating too fast, stress, or certain foods. Eat slowly, avoid spicy or greasy meals, and stay calm. Drink lots of water. Fruits and veggies help clean your stomach and make you feel better.

My boyfriend had, what I suspect to be, Norovirus 8 days ago. He had diarrhea for about 18 to 22 hours, and he only had one bout of vomiting, which he believes was due to the Mountain Dew he drank on an upset stomach. Since its been 8 days since his symptoms have stopped, would it be safe to engage in close contact activities like kissing again?

Male | 23

Norovirus is a bug. It can make your stomach feel bad. After it goes away, wait a bit before kissing. This makes sure it is all gone. 8 days since his last symptoms are good. But wait longer to be safe. Washing hands well stops the spread.

Couldn't eat anything coz of gastritis and I'm only taking avocado juice for almost a month. I feel fatigue and have headaches with dizziness.

Female | 29

Gastritis can make eating hard, and having avocado juice isn't giving your body all it needs. Symptoms like fatigue, headaches, and dizziness can happen when you lack essential nutrients. To feel better, try eating small, gentle meals. Foods such as oatmeal, bananas, or toast can be friendly to your stomach. Rest and stay hydrated as well.

Hi Sir, kindly help me out to get out of this pain, confusion and frustration. I am Rohan from Pune. This is my Clinical summary -Rohan, a 29-year-old male, presented with chief complaints of reflux symptoms and severe abdominal pain persisting for the past 3 months. And episodes of diarrhea.Upon examination, his vital signs were stable. Diagnostic procedures, including gastroscopy and colonoscopy, were performed, leading to the diagnosis of a duodenal ulcer, pan gastritis and pathological findings of lymphocytic colitis. The treatment approach involved the administration of medications, as mentioned in the prescription, to manage the condition. Regular follow-up visits were recommended to monitor the progress and adjust the treatment regimen accordingly. After two and a half months of treatment, significant improvement was noted, with no abdominal pain reported, and the patient's overall well-being has improved. Consequently, the dosage of medications has been reduced. Continued monitoring and adherence to the prescribed treatment plan are necessary to ensure complete resolution of symptoms and prevent recurrence. This was my condition eight months ago. Right now I am very frustrated because of gut problem. It's paining even after following treatment and strict diet for eight months. I almost lost 8 kg. I went for second opinion(Leading Gastroentrologist in pune) . That doctor told me that your ulcers are healed completely. And lymphocytic colitis was misdiagnosed. Now It's a IBS that causing the pain and not colitis. He prescribed me Librax(Clinidium+chlorobenzodioxide) two times in a day along with Amixide h(chlorobenzodioxide +amitryptiline) . Whenever my gut starts paining I took it and pain goes away completely like that problem doesn't exist.I am very confused about this.Stomach pain goes away and comes back. About year ago this problem has started. And just took those above medicines to cope up with pain One more thing to add here is that I was diagnosed with GAD (generalized anxiety disorder) few years back. I was taking escitalopram( Lexapro 10 mg)on and off prescribed by psychiatrist. But My Gastroenterologist told me to stop using lexapro as it can cause ulcer. So I stopped using it completely since year. I want to get completely rid of these medicines and want to live normal life.

Male | 29

Gut issues can be challenging. You've successfully healed ulcers, which is great, but IBS challenges remain. IBS is common and can cause belly pain, bloating, and changes in bowel habits. Often, stress or certain foods trigger it. Medications like Librax and Amixide H, prescribed by your gastroenterologist, can help manage the symptoms. However, lifestyle changes are also important. Stress relief methods, regular exercise, and a fiber-rich, healthy diet can make a significant difference.

I am 31 years old.i have lower back pain and lower right side abdominal pain.i poop 3-4 times a day.and I have sharp pain in right side breast nipples and armpit itching.these symptoms are not happening together.but sometimes some pain and other time different pain

Female | 31

Pain in the lower back and the lower right side of the abdomen can sometimes be caused by digestive disorders. There are also chances of pooping more often which may be due to diet or stress. The sharp pain in your right breast, the nipples, and the itchy armpits could be due to skin irritation. Water drinking, healthy food consumption, and loose clothing can be treatment options. If the symptoms do not disappear, it is essential to consult a gastroenterologist for an accurate diagnosis and treatment.
