I’m glad you’re seeking advice. There could be a few reasons for symptoms like a missed period after dry humping. Stress, hormonal changes, and irregular menstrual cycles are all common culprits. If you want to find out whether or not you are pregnant, take a pregnancy test at home. Taking the test will provide you with a definite answer and ease your mind.

There are no interactions seen between the oral contraceptive pill containing levonorgestrel and the levetiracetam. So, normal dose of contraceptive preparations can be used in patients on levetiracetam. For more information you can visit your nearest gynecologist.

I am a 22 year old female and I had a medical abortion which I really regret. I took the first oral pill but vomited very few minutes later. I continued with inserting the rest 48 hours later and I bled. My breasts are still sore and I’m still feeling tired. Could my baby be still alive? Which I’m really hoping for. And when can I do a scan to check if the abortion failed?
Female | 22
It is important to get a scan to confirm the status of your pregnancy. While vomiting shortly after taking the first pill might reduce its effectiveness, the subsequent bleeding could indicate that the abortion process has begun. To know for sure, visit a gynecologist as soon as possible for an ultrasound. They will provide the most accurate information and appropriate guidance.

Can I insert metronidazole pill on my vagina for abortion in 1 week pregnant?
Female | 38
Ensuring quality health is important, and then your well-being as well. One of the most common errors in the process of treatment, including the medications, is the insertion of medicines that are not prescribed for it, which can lead to the consumption of the drug plus the latter without any improvement. One of the symptoms is cramping or unusual bleeding. A very wise and risk-free way to manage an unplanned pregnancy is to look for a gynecologist who will guarantee this. They are trained to explain all the options to you and help you in the process.

Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) can cause various symptoms, including irregular menstruation, weight gain, and acne. It arises from hormonal imbalances, often affecting insulin levels. I have sex two days before stop birth control pills a month ago. Then I have withdrawal bleeding after 2 days of stopping pills. Then it continues for 7 days. Then now I missed my period 5 days. I feel cramped around my back and a little around my lower abdomen. I see brown spotting but no blood flow ,I can only see it when I wipe. Am I pregnant? I'm worried
Female | 29
You are having some signs like missed period, brown spots, and cramps. These can mean you are pregnant. But they can also happen when you stop taking birth control pills. Your hormones change then. To know for sure, you can take a pregnancy test at home. Or you can go to a clinic for a better test. Stress can also make your cycle change.!

I am 17 yrs old female i am facing brown discharge from 9 days and it was my period date when it started i am not taking any medicine its not painless and i am not even feeling any other symptoms. I just want to know is there anything to worry about?
Female | 17
Several different things can cause brown discharge. At other times, it comes from the part of your body that filters the blood, leaving behind scabs. It might be just at the start or the end of your period. It could be hormone alterations in some cases. If, for example, you don't have any pain or other strange symptoms, then you probably don't have any serious problems. Visit a gynecologist if the problem persists.

Blood loss during pregnancy is not a good experience, yet it is important to keep calm. This might be a sign of a threatened miscarriage, which means that the pregnancy might be lost but not yet is the case. At times, it is difficult to notice the fetus in the ultrasound during the early stage of pregnancy. The positive pregnancy test indicates that you were indeed pregnant, however, it sometimes takes a long time to see the fetus on an ultrasound. If you're feeling anxious, it's better to talk to your gynecologist.

Hello I'm a teenage girl I'm 17 years old, and I'm not having my periods, I didn't went to do anything physical but it's been 6days late and I'm not having my periods
Female | 17
It’s not that rare for young girls to have irregular periods. Some reasons why your menstruation is late may include stress or hormonal changes caused by gaining or losing weight. Take it easy because this happens to a lot of people. Remember to eat well-balanced meals, get enough physical activity every day, and find ways to relax. However, if this condition continues for several months or if there are any other symptoms accompanying it, talk with a gynecologist.

Hi, I dignosed with PCOS, I was prescribed with Krimson 35 tablets, Since I started taking the medicine I got light periods in 21 days and next periods in 14 days. It's been 14 days now since I'm spotting. When I consulted my doctor he said it's normal to have such spotting it will disappear soon. I'm loosing my patience. What should I do? Should I stop taking the medicine?
Female | 29
Spotting can be a result of your body getting used to the medication. You should under no circumstances stop taking the tablets your doctor has prescribed to you. The spotting will gradually go away by itself in a little while. If it worsens or doesn't improve, contact your gynecologist for more help.

I had intercourse with my bf yesterday and then the protection got stuck inside me as well as he opened the condom and wore it once again but in the second time might be he wore it in the opposite way. So in order to stay risk free i took an I-pill within 16 hours. So should I take one more pill?
Female | 15
You should see your gynecologist for further evaluation. Ingestion of the I-pill within 16 hours after unprotected sex can help to reduce pregnancy. However, taking more than one I-pill in a short time is not recommended.

Please tell me wether is it fine to use Oralcon-F ( Levonorgestrel and ethinyl estradiol contraceptive pills ) starting from middle of my cycle and using Levonorgestrel 1.5mg morning pill for 3 days at the same time? To prevent pregnancy ?
Female | 29
Using Oralcon-F during the middle of your cycle can provide contraceptive protection, but combining it with levonorgestrel (the morning-after pill) may not be necessary if you're already on Oralcon-F. It's essential to take contraceptive pills consistently and as directed. However, taking the morning-after pill multiple times in a short period can lead to side effects like nausea or irregular bleeding. I encourage you to consult with a gynecologist who can provide personalized advice based on your overall health and circumstances.

I had an intercourse on oct 24th which only includes anal penetration and rubbing at that region. There was no direct contact between penis and vagina. I had bleeding on Nov 8th dec 6th jan 3rd and Feb 2nd and the flow seemed to be normal. Also did a urine pregnancy test on Dec 30 showed negative results and out of my anxiety did an transabdomen ultrasound scan at a clinic on Jan 27 which is above 13 weeks and they said no pregnancy is found. But I'm still anxious and can't convince my self about no pregnancy occurred. My doubt is even if there is a cryptic pregnancy and not found in tests would it have been identified in scan when done around 13 weeks after intercourse? Can it completely rule out pregnancy even in cases of retroverted uterus. Is a transabdomen scan is reliable at 13 weeks to identify pregnancy. Please answer patiently.
Male | 20
It's understandable to feel anxious, but based on your ultrasound and negative pregnancy tests, the likelihood of pregnancy is very low. A transabdominal ultrasound at 13 weeks is generally reliable, and a retroverted uterus would not significantly affect detection. Bleeding can have various causes, including hormonal changes or stress. If anxiety persists, I encourage you to consult a gynecologist for further assessment and peace of mind. They can provide thorough evaluations to address your concerns.

Am a female single woman suffering from thyroid bp and fibroids and tachy cardia and infract in brain Am suffering with heavy bleeding with clots which is lasting till 13 days and am getting periods twice in a month. I can't undergo surgery. Plz suggest me treatment
Female | 40
You may be feeling an elevated level of discomfort from the heavy bleeding and some additional health problems. One of the causes of irregular periods could be hormonal imbalance, fibroids (growths in the uterus), or thyroid issues. Surgical treatment not being an option, non-surgical therapies are the alternative. Drugs such as the ones used in hormonal therapy can carry out the regulation of menstrual cycles as well as decrease bleeding. Besides that, a lifestyle change – for example, keeping a healthy diet and reducing stress – can help. Nonetheless, it is important to ask for advice from your gynecologist who will design a specific treatment plan for you depending on your circumstances.

My Friend last month period was on 5 feb and this month it's 24 March she missed her periods this month. She is sexually active but she did take precautions. Day before yesterday she take urine pregency test and it was negative. Now what is the problem?
Female | 24
Missing periods happen sometimes, even when careful. Stress, routine changes, or hormone issues can cause delays. If your friend's test was negative, her missed period may have another reason. Encourage calmness and symptom observation. If her period stays away for weeks, seeing a gynecologist could provide helpful guidance.

It's understandable to seek guidance after trying for nine months to conceive. Factors like sperm count, motility, and morphology can influence fertility. A semen analysis offers valuable insights into male reproductive health. Common causes of challenges include hormonal imbalances, lifestyle choices, or medical conditions. I recommend discussing your report with a gynecologist who specializes in fertility for a personalized assessment and to explore potential next steps.

Female | 25
Please see your Obstetrician as soon as possible. The toughening of the stomach during pregnancy can be a symptom of Braxton Hicks contractions, but they do no harm and are normal. However, it can be a signal of early labor and preterm birth along with severe pain, pain, bleeding, and discharge.

3 month new born baby .mom was not breastfeeding because milk supply is low some times not coming .u tell me breast feeding is increasing milk supply.
Female | 25
Moms sometimes experience low milk supply. Though it may seem concerning, there are simple steps you can take. Nursing frequently sends a message to your body to produce more milk. Also, eating nutritious foods and drinking plenty of fluids aids production. Pay attention to your baby's hunger cues - these can stimulate increased supply. With time and commitment, your milk should increase, so try to relax and be patient.
