Itching in the vagina may be due to various factors. A common reason is a yeast infection that is occurring when there is an imbalance of bacteria in the vagina. Other reasons can be being irritated by soap or laundry detergent. You can wear cotton underwear and avoid using scented products to alleviate the itching. Consult a gynecologist for the best guidance.

My problem is that my period ended 4 days ago, but today morning I started bleeding again and I'm scared. Could it be because of what I did yesterday? Yesterday, I had romantic and sexy conversations with my boyfriend on a call. My age is 23 years old. Please guide me.
Female | 23
Some women could notice unexpected bleeding after their period. Engaging in sweet talk is not responsible for it directly. Occasionally, hormone fluctuation or stress will disrupt your period. In case, there is some pain, or sudden dizziness, or it lasts a long time, it is better to see a gynecologist to get some advice.

I am having pcod. I had IUI on 8th May. Doctor suggested progesterone for 15 days. I am on my progesterone dose and very light spotting.
Female | 27
PCOS causes not only problems with menstruation but also with ovulation, and anovulation, as it happens. When you're on progesterone therapy, you can get spotting due to hormone level instability. Spotting is a common sign of changes in the female body but usually is physiological. Except in rare cases, spotting during progesterone treatment is not a big deal but you must continue to follow all the prescriptions and keep your psychiatrist informed as well.

Female | 25
DURING PREGNANCY one sac develops in the uterus.. Another sac outside the uterus may lead to an ectopic pregnancy... A second sac in the fallopian tube may cause severe health issues...It is essential to consult your doctor and follow their advice.

I am 6 weeks pregnant. I had been suggested by a doctor to either take L Folinine or folvite active for two months. I have been taking L folinine for 1 month. Now can I change it to Folvite active(due to unavailability of L folinine in my area) ? I noticed that the dosage of L methyl folate is different in both the tablets. (5mg in L folinine and 1mg in folvite active).
Female | 25
Folinine and Folvite Active have folic acid, a key nutrient for a baby's growth. Though doses vary, Folvite's 1mg should work too. Since Folinine isn't around, switch to Folvite Active to get enough folic acid. Keep taking it as instructed. But if anything feels off, check with your gynecologist again.

40 days late periods without pregnancy
Female | 33
Sometimes your period can be late, even if you're not pregnant. Things like stress, weight changes, or hormones can cause delays. If it's really late, like 40 days, you might feel bloated and tired. Don’t worry—just relax, eat healthy, and get enough sleep. However, if this keeps happening, it’s important to see a gynecologist to check if everything is okay.

Female | 22
Various factors, like changes in diet, weight fluctuations, and stress, can disrupt your menstrual cycle. If you’re experiencing a missed period, it’s best to wait before taking any steps to alter your cycle. If the irregularity continues, consult a gynecologist to rule out any underlying issues. Taking medication to induce your period without understanding the cause can be risky. Instead, focus on eating a healthy diet, staying active, and managing stress to help regulate your cycle naturally.

so let me give you some context first, she has PCOD. and get's irregular periods, but since 1-2 months she was having normal periods due to some medecines, which her doctor prescribed. But at that time, even before we "did that", her periods were late for 5-6 days already. What happened is I went to my gf's place on 7th June. and we thought of just doing kisses and cuddles. But later on we crossed our limits and i got more aggressive towards her, which she liked. So she was giving me a handjob, and told me that there's some precum on her hand. But it dried really fast due to the fan and cooler. And later on I was rubbing my dick on her vagina without any clothes, and spreaded her outer area and she was getting hurt by it. I didn't went deep inside. and stopped there and after a bit she wore clothes and went to the washroom to clean herself down there and peed too. I didn't ejaculate inside her, and I'm not sure but i guess there wasn't precum either inside her. But not sure. And it's been many days since then, and she still hasn't gotten her periods yet. Her doctor doesn't know about the thing we did, and he just said that it's normal, and she'll get periods after her medecine. Today is her last dose of medicine left. We are worried that she might get pregnant? Ofcourse we don't want that to happen. Can you please help us out and tell us something? We're still not so old and responsible in both mentally and financial ways to take care of a baby
Female | 20
If you’re worried about a possible pregnancy, don’t be. The chances of it happening from what you’ve said are very slim. If there was no ejaculation or confirmed pre-cum inside her, then there is almost no risk at all. Stress can also delay periods. Tell her to relax as much as possible. If her period still doesn’t come, take a home pregnancy test to be sure.

I had unprotected sex with my partner like 2 times in a interval of 8 days and both time ipill was taken not sure if I ejaculated my partner had thyroid but it’s normal earlier she used to not have periods for months because of thyroid now the dates are 18 and 25 Aug yet no periods and she’s on meprate medications too yet no sign
Male | Diana
Hormonal and thyroid issues may have caused the missed periods. Emergency contraception may also have played a role. Stress and anxiety may also influence the menstrual cycle. There is no doubt about that. The best course of action now is to wait a while longer. If the period still does not come, it is advisable to do a pregnancy test and discuss the situation further with a gynecologist.

Female | 32
An imbalance of good and bad bacteria in the vagina can lead to infections. These include yeast infections or bacterial ones. Common symptoms are itching, swelling, and discomfort. Over-the-counter creams may provide relief. However, seeing a doctor for prescription medication is recommended. To prevent future issues, wear cotton underwear and avoid scented products. These simple steps restore balance and promote vaginal health.

Sir, I had physical relations on 17th September but my normal period came on 7th October and now it should have come on 7th November but it did not come. Earlier also it used to get delayed by 10-15 days. Can I get pregnant?
Female | 24
The reality of the situation is that a natural conception can occur if you have been having sexual intercourse. On some occasions, the duration of the menstrual cycle might change a little and periods will show up at various times, or if the cycle is delayed and you start to experience different sensations, such as tiredness, nausea, or breast tenderness, you could take a pregnancy test and also visit a gynecologist.

I have been experiencing pink or red vaginal discharge. My period was due 2 days ago. Since 4 menstrual cycles I have been experiencing the same thing. I used to having spotting like this for 4 days and then have my period flow. Is this normal? I am particularly worried this time because I had unprotected sex(my partner did not ejaculate in me) 3 days before my expected period date and now my peirod is delayed by 3 days. What does the redish discharge indicate and are there dangers of pregnancy?
Female | 23
Getting reddish or pinkish vaginal discharge is a cause of concern and panic but it is not uncommon. It is likely to be one of the two possibilities, either hormonal changes or irritation in your vagina. The period can also be late due to these changes. As your partner didn't ejaculate inside you, there is virtually no chance of pregnancy. The red discharge may be a sign of your menstrual cycle. It is advisable to monitor it for a bit longer and if it continues or worsens, it is best to consult a gynecologist for a proper evaluation and advice.

I am having a vaginal boils since from 1-2 months
Female | 19
It may sound like you have vaginal boils, which are red, swollen lumps that can hurt. They occur when hair follicles or sweat glands are blocked. Gently clean the area with warm water and do not squeeze them. Loose clothes and warm compresses may help. If they do not go away or they get worse, it’s a good idea to see a gynecologist for a check-up.

I had protected sex on the last day of my periods and to be safe I took an ipill after 24 hrs- 30 hrs. And now I have started to bleed again it's only been a week.
Female | 22
Taking emergency contraceptive pill after unprotected sex may lead to the changes in the menstrual cycle including irregular bleeding. Yet, bleeding within a week of taking an i-pill could also be a sign of hormonal imbalance or other medical conditions. However, the best option is a detailed examination and treatment by a gynecologist.

My last period was on the 10th of October and I’m yet to see for the month of November
Female | 26
ASSUMING a 28 day cycle, your period is late. Stress and hormonal imbalances can cause this. Take a PREGNANCY test to be sure. If negative, wait a few more days and test again. If it remains negative, see your doctor... They will check for underlying conditions that can cause a missed period such as POLYCYSTIC ovary syndrome (PCOS) or THYROID issues...

The effectiveness of the pill depends on factors like timing and individual variables. If you're sexually active and concerned about pregnancy, consider taking a pregnancy test if your period is significantly delayed.
