Why do I get periods early?

Patient's Query

Iam 22 years old my problem is my periods date is 3 and I always gets my periods before the 3/4 days of the day but I don't have period what to do and can I use medicine for periods

Answered by Dr. Himali Patel

Various factors, like changes in diet, weight fluctuations, and stress, can disrupt your menstrual cycle. If you’re experiencing a missed period, it’s best to wait before taking any steps to alter your cycle. If the irregularity continues, consult a gynecologist to rule out any underlying issues. Taking medication to induce your period without understanding the cause can be risky. Instead, focus on eating a healthy diet, staying active, and managing stress to help regulate your cycle naturally.

Why is my LMP gestation is 38 weeks 4 days and gestation age by BPD /FL is 34 weeks

Female | 24

The Last Menstrual Period (LMP) calculates gestation from the start of your last period, while gestational age by Biparietal Diameter (BPD) or Femur Length (FL) measures the baby's size. The difference in weeks might be due to variations in fetal growth rates. Your obstetrician can provide more insight and guidance based on these measurements. It's always best to consult them for a clearer understanding of your pregnancy progress.

It’s about pregnancy . I do not know if I am pregnat or not . I’ve had my period this month but now I’m spotting and bloating and have nausea

Female | 16

It is also possible that you could be pregnant if this month have passed your period and currently observing spotting, bloating, and nausea. But these signs might point to other complications too. I suggest seeing a gynecologist or obstetrician to do your pregnancy test and identify what underlies those symptoms of yours. This is always advisable to consult a physician.

She is having too much facial hair and body hair.. she's 15 but she doesn't have even a little breasts growth..but her thighs and hips are really fat.

Female | 15

Excessive hair growth on face and body can be a symptom of hormonal imbalances as in the case of PCOS. Pubertal development may also be delayed in this condition. You should see a gynecologist or an endocrinologist for further evaluation and management of PCOS.
