Don’t worry, lots of people get acne. Signs of acne include red spots, blackheads, and whiteheads on your face. Things that might cause it are hormones, greasy skin, and bacteria. You can try washing your face gently twice a day with a soapless cleanser, not touching zits, and using only oil-free products. If this bothers you then maybe talk to a dermatologist.

I am a 39 year old woman and am having an issue with my skin on my chin for the last 2 weeks. After friction from making out with someone new. He did not have a beard. Maybe slight stubble but really not noticeable. My skin became raw and I put Vaseline on it and neosporin. After about a week acne started appearing. I changed my regimen to a salicylic acid ointment and moisturizer. It seems to help a bit but not a lot. My skin is less raw but still splotchy and red with acne. I have not ever struggled with skin issues. Should I keep up the acne treatment? Should I do something else? It peels and is uncomfortable (it stings with the ointment but once it dries it doesn’t hurt but it does bother me). I’m traveling in Brazil now but am from the US. Any help appreciated before I head home! I plan to see a dermatologist PA when I get back.

I am a 21 years old male and i have had acne since the age of 16. I took isotretinoin at the age of 19 and my acne cleared up but i had to go through the treatment with the pain of severe dry eyes, i didn't want the acne to come back. My acne got cleared up but i was left with dry eyes. I went to an eye doctor and got diagnosed with (MGD) and the doctor told me to put warm compress and take Omega-3 supplement and my eyes got better but now i got the acne back, and when i quit taking the omega 3 supplement my acne clears up but my eyes gets dry again.
