You may have oligomenorrhea, a condition that means irregular periods. Some common symptoms include periods happening every two months or light bleeding. This can be caused by factors such as stress, hormonal imbalances, or polycystic ovary syndrome. It is recommended that you see a gynecologist for diagnosis and discussion of possible treatment methods which may involve changes in lifestyle, medication, or hormone therapy.

If sex on 6th day periods is possible to get pregnant or not
Female | 20
Engaging in intimacy during menstruation typically poses a low risk of conception, especially around the sixth day when ovulation is generally not imminent. However, sperm can survive in the body for several days, which means that if ovulation occurs shortly after your period, there is a slim chance for pregnancy. Monitoring your cycle can help understand your fertility better. If you have concerns about contraception or reproductive health, I encourage you to discuss these with a gynecologist. They can provide personalized advice and support tailored to your circumstances.

It is always good to remember that these symptoms are caused by many factors. It is advised to see a gynecologist to determine the gross check-up and diagnosis. The symptoms presented here are likely to suggest a hormonal imbalance or a base medical disease lying underneath.

Having yeastinfections that recurring every 2 month.i have try candid-v, fluconoazole.
Female | Khadiza
This is how yeast infections occur: when a fungus called Candida grows too much. Itching, burning, and unusual discharge are all symptoms. Tight clothes, antibiotics, and being immunocompromised can all cause them. You can prevent having so many yeast infections by wearing cotton underwear, not douching, and eating right. If they persist, visit a gynecologist.

Female | 22
When periods stop and weight increases suddenly, it could mean there is an imbalance in hormones. This might be caused by stress, bad eating habits, or some diseases such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). It is necessary to consult a gynecologist who will conduct tests and recommend appropriate treatment.

I just celebrated my 18th birthday and I've been having some weird sensations around my clitoris but I had sex of recent and it got worse, I now have burning sensations, itching, I noticed a thick whitish discharge today but odor less. I think I might have a yeast infection but I don't know if it was from my partner or I'm just the issue.
Female | 18
You could be having a yeast infection. It is a common problem, and it is not always due to your partner. Burning, itching, and white, thick discharge are the typical signs of a yeast infection. These events are possible due to issues such as antibiotics, hormonal shifts, or tight clothing. Over-the-counter antifungal creams can be tried, but it is also important to visit a gynecologist for correct diagnosis and treatment.

Why am I having period symptoms but not my period
Female | 18
This is induced by hormonal changes in the body, by themselves which can happen even if menstruation is not there. This may come about due to stress, changes in weight, and/or hormonal imbalances, among other factors. If the symptoms indeed remain or there are other symptoms present, it is ok to seek a gynecologist for further examination.

I am 35 Yr old female. Me and my husband have been trying for a baby for sometime. This time, I was 5 days late for my period and I thought I was preg. But 6th day I got blood when I wiped with tissue. But urine there was no blood. 2 full days have been over. My total blood flow has been 1 pad full only. This is different from my usual periods. I don't have major cramps like how I used to have during menses. My cramps are very mild. What should I do?
Female | 35
You are experiencing some changes in your menstrual cycle. It is commonplace to have spotting and minor cramps during the first few weeks of pregnancy. If your menstruation is starting, it might be a little different. Stress, hormonal changes, or even lifestyle factors could be some of the reasons for this. If the symptoms continue or worsen, you should talk to a gynecologist to get personalized advice.

I'm 24yrs old female with vaginal burning sensation for days Urinalysis is 25-50 pus cells, mucus thread few, protein trace
Female | 24
The urine test result shows the presence of some pus cells with a few strands of mucus and a little protein. This may be due to a urinary tract infection (UTI). UTIs are responsible for not only the burning but also frequent urination and cloudy urine. Drinking plenty of water, and following antibiotic therapy prescribed by a gynecologist can help. Also, always keep in mind to keep good hygiene habits to prevent UTIs in the future.

Could pink spots of blood after sex mean I could be pregnant
Female | 19
PINK SPOTS after sex could indicate IMPLANTATION BLEEDING... Implantation bleeding happens when the fertilized egg attaches itself to the uterine lining... This type of bleeding may be mistaken for a period, but it is usually lighter and shorter than a normal period... However, there could be other reasons for spotting after sex, like a cervical polyp or infection... Wait and see if your PERIOD comes, if not, take a PREGNANCY TEST... If you experience heavy bleeding, abdominal pain, or fever, go see a DOCTOR...

Periods are delayed about 20 days and pregnancy kit checkup is negative and my boobs secreting yellow thick milk when I press them and having pain in boobs .
Female | 21
It sounds like you’re experiencing some concerning symptoms, including delayed menstruation and breast discharge. These could be attributed to hormonal fluctuations, stress, or other underlying issues. While pregnancy tests can sometimes give false negatives, other factors may affect your cycle and breast changes. I recommend you schedule an appointment with a gynecologist for a thorough evaluation. They can provide a proper diagnosis and discuss potential treatment options tailored to your situation.

If this persists or worsens, it is crucial to see a gynecologist for more tests and treatment.

Hello, I have herpes type 1. Yesterday I saw a breakout coming. The blister wasn’t very big, it was more red than yellowish. I was with my boyfriend and we spent the night. Today afternoon I put ethanol and acyclovir topically and after 2-3 hours the blister erupted. I’m afraid if I transmitted the virus to my boyfriend. I try to be cautious and avoid sexual intercourse while having an outbreak. I thought it wasn’t very dangerous because the blister hadn’t developed, but I’m really afraid if I transmitted the virus.
Female | 20
If you had active outbreak there are chances that the virus can be transmitted even if the blister was not fully developed. Avoid intercourse during outbreaks to reduce the risk of transmission. Communicate with your gynec about how to manage your outbreaks and reduce the risk of transmission to your partner.

You may be dealing with the condition of vaginal opening has spread. Maybe pregnancy has made the muscle tissue weak, the aging process might be a factor too, or the existence of a cyst. To improve your issue you may perform the pelvic floor exercises to make the muscles surrounding it stronger. Visiting a gynecologist is necessary for assistance and to help deal with this difficulty.

I had a surgical abortion 5 weeks ago and l have been fine till 5 days ago my started having abdominal cramps and contractions in my pelvic area without any bleeding l don't know if there a problem or is normal
Female | 27
It is usual to feel muscle contractions after a surgical abortion. Your body is repairing itself and getting back to normal. However, you should be alerted if cramps worsen or you indeed feel feverish, as it may be a symptom of infection. Be sure to rest, drink water, and apply a warm compress. If pain continues or you notice any vague signs, inform the gynecologist who carried out the abortion procedure or go to the closest health center.

Both ovaries are bulky in size (Right ovary measures approx 34 x 27 x 22 mm, vol : 12ml and Left ovary measures approx 42 x 38 x 23 mm, vol: 20ml) in shape and echotexture. Multiple peripherally arranged small follicles with central echogenic stroma noted in B/L Ovary. No adnexal mass lesion is seen. No free fluid is seen in Cul-de-Sac.
Female | 23
These changes are often due to hormone imbalances or diseases such as polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). You might experience irregular periods, pimples, or difficulty conceiving. Lifestyle modifications include healthy eating habits and physical activity. This can be useful in managing this condition; however, medicines may sometimes be required for hormonal regulation. Visit a gynecologist for further treatment.

The first day of my last period was 22nd December 2024, and it lasted 4 days. I was supposed to start my next period on 22nd January, 2025. However, I have not had it till today (31st Jan, 2025). I had protected sex on 12th January, in which condoms were used and my partner pulled out at the time of ejaculation. What are the chances I might be pregnant? Should I take a test? Am I just late? History of medical conditions: I have had irregular periods, i.e., a few days late in the past, and my cycles sometimes extended to 39 days. However, this is the longest cycle, and my last two periods have been shorter than usual ( 4 days instead of my usual 5 days). I had intercourse on 12th January with a barrier (condoms) and my partner pulled out at the time of ejaculation. Previous history of current medical complaint: My periods used to be irregular, I have recently gained weight, and I suffer from facial hair growth, etc. I also have taken Plan B pills on 2 separate occasions in the last year. My longest cycle was 39 days, and periods came a couple days after the predicted date. However, this is the longest delay I've experienced in the past. Current medication details: None History of medication for the same complaint: None lab tests done: None Height, Weight Height Weight 5' 3" (160.02 cm) 167 lbs (75.75 kg)
Female | 22
It's understandable to feel concerned about your missed period, especially with a history of irregular cycles. While protected sex reduces the risk of pregnancy, no method is 100% effective. Given your cycle history and recent changes in your body, stress or hormonal fluctuations could contribute to this delay. I recommend taking a home pregnancy test for peace of mind. If it’s negative and your period doesn’t start soon, consider consulting a gynecologist for thorough evaluation and personalized advice.

You should remember that paying a visit to an I-pill clinic disturbs the regularity of menstrual cycles. I urge you to visit a gynecologist who can help you decide on the correct expected menstrual date and also recommend the appropriate contraception methods.
